Behind the scenes someone uses Opera. When they post a link, I click, it takes me to a new window that says I need to log in. When I close that, I'm still in, just his links require me to. I use Chrome.

these both sound like a cookie blocking (thur setting or firewall or privacy extension) or corruption.

What will happen for vaping industry?

Nothing good will happen from this point forward. If you live in the USA ad you have not hoarded enough hardware and nicotine base to last your life, then you are in for a world of hurt.

Shipments from china are suffering. Chinese govt cracking down harder every week on sales to USA. Chinese vape merchants are losing their direct credit card processing accounts. Still have paypal but when the charge accounts start going, paypal has to follow. The banks make the rules, not paypal.

Vendors are going out of business. The writing's on the wall. vape is almost over for anyone who has not prepped.

I have over 30 mods, over 50 tanks. Many parts and also 9.5 Liters of 100mg nic base which I believe should last me for the next 25 years. That's all I need at my age. Not bragging, people have way more than me. But I'm set.

This holiday season was THE time to stock up. Great sales and deals everywhere. Still going on to some extent.

Heartland vapes just had a sale on nic. $10 off per liter and if you buy 4 or more at one time, you get a further discount, taking you to $33/liter. It was supposed to end today, but you can try it and see if the discount shows in your cart (no coupon needed).

Better stock up now while you still have the chance. Otherwise you'll have to either quit, go back to cigarettes, or have to buy high priced liquid in junky tobacco flavors that will make you want to puke and vape on equipment that hardly works.

Technically the vapacolypse should not happen until May 2020, but there is reason to believe it could be closer than we think.

If you are waiting for something "good" to happen", that things will not change drastically, that you won't be affected, that things "won't be so bad"...you'll see...when it's too late.

Good luck.

Here's what I had, but like I say, I'm looking for input.
===============================
What is the main reason you vape? (Electronic Cigarettes) This poll will be meaningless unless participants are completely honest.

1. To stay off of tobacco or I wouldn't do it.
2. Because I enjoy it whether I was a previous tobacco user or not.
3. I vape for the THC. To get a buzz.
===============================

There are subcategories though too. Like people who started vaping to get off cigarettes, but now like it enough in it's own right to keep doing it. And hobbyists like myself who enjoy playing with the equipment as much as they do vaping itself. For instance.

I think the less options the better though.
#4 too lose weight not snacking
#5 to avoid bad snacks since diabetes runs in family

I have met both #4+#5 & both never smoked

I think this is pretty close to the truth and I said so a long time ago. Some form of strangling restriction was inevitable as long as the plea was to public health. These people running the show here couldn't possibly care less about anybody's health but their own.

As soon as a I saw the pleading cries to:
"Tell your story!! Tel them how when nothing else worked vaping helped you beat your addiction to cigarettes and prolonged your life and will allow you to live long enough to see your grandchildren and continue to be a husband, wife, father, mother, son, daughter!!! TELL THEM!!!"
As soon as it became clear to me that that was the primary strategy? I knew it was over. The vaping community handed it's enemies a 32 inch Louisville Slugger (with taped handle), removed it's hat and leaned forward revealing a target right on the top of it's head begging to be beaten to death. And here we are.

Oh, I don't know. That may be so, but vaping was doomed to heavy taxation and restriction right from the start. They just needed time to get it all done. I mean, even hardware is considered a "tobacco product".

In my state. starter kits are deemed "other tobacco product" along with juice, even if the starter kit does not contain or come with a drop of juice. Even 0 nic juice is taxed as "other tobacco product". They wanted to tax all hardware, and they succeeded for a year or 2. But they fugged up the wording in the law and they lost lawsuits from 1 retailer and 1 wholesaler. The court ordered the state to repay retailers tax money they paid to the state for hardware, most of which had long been forced out of business by that time due to having to pay taxes on all inventory in their stores - even though they bought that inventory before the tax was established.

These crooks LOVE vaping - it's another revenue source to make sure their paychecks and pensions are safe.

Well, regardless, the hammer is coming - nationwide - and it's going to strike hard. And China is helping already by banning shipments to the USA.

Vaping was doomed from the time the FDA declared it a tobacco product.
That gave everyone moral self righteousness to attack it.

Yes, but it was doomed from day one, way before it was "deemed"...because of the nicotine. It was only a matter of time. Those of us that saw it coming and hoarded hardware and nic are safe. Those that didn't or couldn't, well, they will have to vape what the gods tell them to vape and at high prices, quit, or go back to cigarettes.

Everything is doomed to heavy taxation, but not everything is banned except with a prescription.

It will also be quite a while before vaping comes even close to making them as much money as tobacco does.

If it were considered just another vice it would be subject to their tyrannical "sin tax" invasion just like tobacco and alcohol. Still an abomination to the trajectory this nation was founded on, but at least it wouldn't occupy this unique classification of quasi medicine that it does now.

do not forget the Whiskey tax that our first president strongly enforced with troops.

So much of what people think that the US is, is based on myths and such.

Yes, but that was the military. A whole list of special circumstances pertain to active soldiers that do not pertain to the civilian populous at large. Also, yes, I do realize that the political views of the 18th century colonies were not monolithic, but I know you're not going to tell me that there was any consensus advocating the wholesale manipulation of people's personal habits through policy and taxation.

if you can demonstrate that, I will stand most humbly and publicly corrected. I don't mean that sarcastically either.

Ahh personal habits have been assaulted constantly over the centuries of the USA's existence.
Mostly based on religious morals.
And still are.
Most parents do not care if their kids see movies and such where people are gruesomely murdered. But let them see a bare breast and they run for a cop.
Messed up morals in my opinion.
Religions upholding slavery? Mass murder of native populations?

Laws prohibiting mixed race marriages?

Pretty much all the Jim crow laws.

heck even the emancipation proclamation only banned slavery in the confederate states, not the union states.

Our history is not so white and pure.
And Washington never chopped down the cherry tree :)

Funny you say that. I feel that if I quit vaping because of regulation then they win and prove they have mega amounts of control over me (which they do, I admit).

So instead, I hoarded hardware and nicotine so I can vape without their regulation affecting me for the rest of my life.

I feel I won. But maybe I didn't. Maybe I'm just a fool with an addiction o_O

LOL same here.
I do not plan on quitting either. But then I smoked for 40 years so not very bright :)

I have stocked up on hardware and nic to last me the rest of my life.
The consumables should not be a problem to get since I am 100% rebuildables and 100% DIY.

You might want to google "the history of morality laws in the USA"
Interesting reads.
Oh I'm well aware. I'm asking about civil policy and taxation as a normative means of manipulating the individual's personal habits, Say, before the 20th century. .

To rip off and revise Winston Churchill:
The United States of America is the most corrupt, unjust and immoral nation in the history of the planet.

Except for all the rest.

This nation was founded squarely upon a generally judeo-christian worldview. I'm not disputing that. What I'm disputing is that something akin to attempting to regulate the private consumption of alcohol or tobacco for instance through federal taxation or legislation. Maybe I haven't been clear enough.

if vaping had been around at the time, can you imagine most of the attendees of the first constitutional convention proposing federal law to curtail it?

Not just those, but that category of personal liberty. We didn't even have an income tax until the 20th century. I don't wanna get too far off into this, but it'll probably come up again.

Lots of shinyitis and VAS withdrawal coming up next year it seems.
The market Vape reviewers can market to will shrink a lot in the near future.
