I have several dna40 hana slims in black and blue. The battery doors on these are the shittiest I have seen in my life. The door clasps will break the first time you change the battery. I would sell a navy blue one (I am hoping to find a suitable solution for the battery doors myself). PM me with your offer but I am in the US so consider shipping.

I might actually know of a brand new Hanna . If I'm remembering right. I'll check tomorrow. Kind of an ugly green though. Can't remember if it's a 30 or 40.

If memory serves I think it's this one:

It's a clone, though I gotta say, an immaculate one. I can probably work him down a bit on the price. It's been there a while.

So the top one is ok but the bottom one shows what usually happens when opening the battery door - the clasp assembly will break apart.

The second pic attempts to show the brass female connection for the clasp which is held in place poorly by the spring.

The third pic shows the clasp parts. It's an abysmal design and implementation that will fail with use. I did see a post (in this forum I think) showing an alternate implementation done with parts made in a home shop. I'll see if i can find it.

The brass/ss versions of this mod do not suffer from this since there is no battery, you must open the mod via the top and bottom screws. However, I would only sell one of the blue ones. I'll pm you estimated shipping in a few minutes. 20191229_114845.jpg20191229_120159.jpg20191229_115912.jpg20191229_121236.jpg

Also, the standard aluminum version also provides access to the battery by removing the faceplate and underlying plastic plate (ss/brass versions have no plastic plate).20191229_122927.jpg

... and never mind, my blue ones aren't working now. Not sure if the boards have gone bad or not.
