I believe it!
I wish I still had my gramp's fishing perc... but when he quit fishing it went to storage and was damaged beyond repair... that motherfucker had a coffee glaze built from 20 years of campfire daily coffee.

That's unfortunate. I've read the same thing about the moka pots developing that "seasoning." Can't wait until mine is like that.

I call it glaze of glory.
Like my coffee cup... it WAS clear glass at one point.

But then again I do not sugar or melt ice cream in it.

You should be.

Yeah, I bookmarked it for later. :p

The only downside is the 18oz minimum size.
Flavor starts to fall off pretty heavily after a month or so after roasting, and I only use a couple pounds a month, if that.
It limits how quickly I could work through even a fraction of what they have.

If any of you enjoy a good Kona, but find it kinda costly, the site I linked has one called "Panama Boquette" its related to the Kona but smaller in size because of soil and location, but tastes really close to Kona.

Finally got around to ordering from CoffeeByTheRoast.

Having a cup of Sumatran Wahana now. Intriguing would be an understatement.
Can't say much more without having a sophisticated palate implanted.
Probably have to go black market for that. :(

:D

I've also got the Ethiopian Harrar waiting, because... coffee history. :)

Affording a Kona isn't the problem... it's that my inner "cheap azz bitch" screams so loudly when I try to click on a $40/lb coffee.

If you can find it green give (MAUI YELLOW CATURRA) a try. It's usually half the price of Kona.

If you want to try it roasted first lots of places have it.

WTF!

I know I'm Filipino and I garble a word here and there, but man! At least I can structure sentences coherently. ;)

I started reading what they typed and it made my brain hurt.
Unless you're doing it on purpose...
