I'm getting the Strawberry more now on the RDA. Couldn't taste it on the finger.
This is pretty good, not the best but very vapable. I think sitting a few more days with that Vanilla Custard and Bavarian Cream will change things.
TFA Whipped Cream 2.0%
TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 2.0%
TFA Juicy Peach 6.0%
TFA Strawberry Ripe 3.0%
TFA Sweet Strawberry 2.0%
INW Shisha Strawberry 0.5%
TFA Bavarian Cream 1.5%
CAP Vanilla Custard 3.0%
Was also thinking of adding some Sugar Daddy when i mixed this but i think it is sweet enough already

Whoooo, look at you! Looks great too. I am going to try making this but I will think of something to replace the peach as I am not a peach person. I'm sure another fruit would be good, maybe banana! Thanks for sharing your recipe! Oh and of course I do the FA Prem Custard. But yes, this looks yummy. Still not sure what it is about Capellas custard that makes me go blech. I guess some flavors just do that to people even though just about everyone else loves it. That or I'm just weird :)

Oh, and I love how you used several different strawberries!

I remember a while back you told me different Strawberries had to be used so they wouldn't fade out over time.( think it was you)
That's why i did it this way. And who knows about my percentages. Could be way off but had to start somewhere.
I remember you said you can't taste Strawberry that well but if you drip this i'll bet you can. Strong on Peach and Whipped Cream also.
I think i need to use less Peach next time but i need to let it sit a while to see if it changes.
Thanks for your help Deb . You're the one that started me down this Rabbit Hole.
A little expensive at first, but damn sure cheaper down the road.
Take Care.

And Deb, I only used the Vanilla Custard, Bavarian Cream and Whipped Cream because i didn't have any Vanilla Pudding.
Thought i did but can't find it. I think all my spiders carried it off!

Here's my first swipe at it.

Fruit in Cloud

Eggnog (Flavorah) 0.75%
Honeycomb (VTA) 0.75%
Juicy Peach (DX) (TPA) 2.25%
Marshmallow (FA) 0.75%
Pound Cake (Flavorah) 1.50%
Powdered Sugar (OOO) 1%
Strawberry (Red Touch) (FA) 1.5%
Strawberry, Sweet (JF) 1%
Super Sweet (Cap) 0.52%
Vanilla Pudding (Flavorah) 0.75%
Vanilla Whipped Cream (CAP) 2.5%

Total flavors 13.27%

Will do my best to get this mixed later today.

Edited to add 0.52% of Cap Super Sweet and adjusted totals after mix and knuckle test.

I am thinking now that so many different fruit and flavor combinations would be good in this. Cranberry/orange, blueberry/lemon, strawberry/banana (thanks Deb), blueberry/raspberry, apple/pomegranate(?), even banana/chocolate, orange/chocolate, apple/cinnamon, peach/cinnamon. Could be an extremely versatile recipe.

Really liking the new Wonder Flavors so far! Sftested the Blueberry candy and lemon curd. That lemon curd is definitely gonna come in handy! I’m already envisioning a lemon curd donut.....the custards and Bavarian cream are on day three of steeping and already show a lot of promise. New Molinberry are on deck.....the waffle, soft baked cookie and sponge cake really have my attention.

Do you ever bake anything like this?

S&P Trifle

WF Angel Cake 3%
VT Glazed Strawberries 2.5%
JF Honey Peach 2%
FLV Smooth Vanilla 0.2%
Cap Sugar Cookie 2%
FLV Vanilla Pudding 1.5%
TFA Whipped Cream 1.5%

Off the shake, it’s peachy forward. Creamy with a bit of vanilla cake on the exhale. I like it! Hoping the strawberries make an appearance! If not, I’ll sub the glazed for another strawberry.

Can you sub something non fruity in there? I can’t take strawberry and peach. Maybe butterscotch or caramel?

You’re definitely not weird for disliking Caps VCV1. I’m not a huge fan, either. It’s pretty much the last custard I’ll choose(FA Custard Premium being the first!). But I’ve had recipes with it in it and if it’s done well, I can vape it.

I’m posting the pictures to get the blood flowing, mixing wise. If it inspires you to make a caramel/butterscotch trifle, have at it!

I think I had mentioned it about the strawberries. I do it because I don't taste it very well and layering them seems to help. That and a tiny bit of Dragonfruit works for me. I think it makes the strawberry "pop" it's such a fun Rabbit Hole though :) weeeeeeeeeeeee

Second that on the dragonfruit. Also, another flavor that nudges strawberry out of the corner is (of all things) TFA Rainbow Drops. Doesn't take much, like considerably less than 1% in most instances, but then again, it depends on the strawberry and your taste buds, too.

Good morning, mixers and Happy New Year! A couple of folks and I have been chatting and we decided to start something new in here.....a Weekly Mixing Challenge! A picture will be posted(just like the Mixin Vixens)and who ever wants to make a recipe for it, go for it! Nothing to win except knowledge and camaraderie, which I think is pretty awesome. Get those mixing juices flowing! Hopefully, some noobs will join in and get help and/or encouragement! Or, at least, get a recipe they can mix. Here y’all go! Have at it!:ejuice:View attachment 152565
OK @wildgypsy70 I decided to give this a shot.

Goph's PS Shortcake

0.2% Alpine Strawberry FLV
1.2% Peach FLV
1% Pound Cake FLV
0.6% Strawberry FLV
1% Sweet Cream FLV
0.8% Vanilla Pudding FLV
1.2% Whipped Cream FLV

6% total flavoring mixed at 30/70 pg/vg.

One day steep, the peach is there and the strawberry is as well, just a little bit overpowered by the peach. I think after a few days things will mellow out. Definitely vapeable.

Sorry, I missed your original post! I can eat stuff with fruit in it, but some fruit flavors don’t agree with me. Like the strawberry cheesecake I mixed.

It’s fine! I totally get it. I have a bunch of pics to post.....they’re not all fruit related. Plus, it’s just for inspiration! Do whatever you want!

I want to make this recipe that uses the WF Lemon Custard & OOO Pie Crust, Bull City doesn’t have the OOO Pie Crust but I might sub it with TFA Pie Crust.

I think I want to develop a honey-cinnamon milkshake. Does that sound disgusting?
Not at all! The new WF honey is a knock out of the park! Tastes just like a spoonful of honey.....and no cat piss! I could also see FLV milk and honey working in something like that.

but I’m excited to see what you come up with!!!!

What butterscotch do you recommend? I just got some TFA RY4 Double, so I can try your recipe and mess around with the RY4.
And thanks, Wild Gypsy. Good idea, it should be fun!

I would go a mix of caramel and butterscotch. FW makes the best one, even though it has sugar in it. (I still use it). But my usual is FA Butterscotch/FA Caramel in equal doses(1%each usually).

Or use FW around 3-5%.

Thanks, I’ll place yet another order with BCF. It’s starting to add up! But I haven’t been buying juice, so it’s great.

If you go FW, get the natural butterscotch. It’s a bit better than the regular. Also wouldn’t hurt to get butterscotch ripple.....would probably go really well with the RY4.

The butterscotch ripple sounds like the vanilla swirl for butterscotch! Yummy.

FW Natural Butterscotch is really good.

I will say that if I were combining caramel and butterscotch in the same recipe, the butterscotch is really just going to enhance the caramel. To me there is not a separate "flavor profile," just like there wouldn't be with English toffee, dulce de leche, praline and cream, butter pecan if used instead of butterscotch. Those flavors are too similar (imo) to be able to pick them apart in a mix.

If you combine caramel, butterscotch, custard, and whipped cream, basically you're going to have caramel or butterscotch custard, which is a good blended flavor, but not a particularly complex one.

Just my two cents.

Maybe FA Apple pie, down low, could also do the pie crust? TFA is ok for me, but sometimes, depending on the mix, tastes burnt.

You lucky girl you! :D I’ll have to sub for now the TFA Pie Crust where did you order your OOO Pie Crust from? Of course I just placed an order with Chefs & I saw the recipe after.
I think I ordered it off Amazon! Fresh03 was going all ballistic about it and I couldn’t find it anywhere(except OoO). It was a little more expensive, but worth it. Chefs or DIYVS might have it? They have a much bigger inventory than Bull City for OoO.

Doing some more testing today.....TFA Vanilla Custard II. FB reminded me about it. It’s fabulous.....like Custard Premium and VCV1 had a deliciously buttery, milky vanilla baby. And needs no steeping! I’ve had it steeping for about 3 days now and it just gets richer....but off the shake, it’s already yummy. I will never give up Custard Premium, but this one is a verrrrrry close second or shares the #1 spot for me.

Thanks! I’ve read that TFA Pie Crust over 2% can taste burnt & is best used under 2%.

For what it's worth, FW Pie Crust is ok. Never noticed it tasting burnt or anything. When I've used it, I've also added a pinch of FW Dutch Apple Pie and a little of some kind of cookie.

(Guess this is how I end up with 12 flavors in a mix.)

Another custard that doesn't taste like something "recycled?" lol That's great news. Will have to order some of that next time.

Thanks! I’ll go look on Amazon :) do ya think its worth getting for this one recipe? Perhaps I’ll try the TFA Pie Crust but at either 2% or 1.75%.
