He annoys me. As much as I hate the 100 quick cuts he does in editing, atleast he doesn't babble on for a hour like a lot of Youtube reviewers.

He can get annoying. And funny how he changes so much. I watched one video from last summer where he said a Provari and a simple micro coil build is all he needs. No interest in mech mods. Very calm video. Now he is a screaming bug eyed quadruple chimney coil building raving mech maniac. LOL Must be the beard.

He does good videos on how to build but I hate the fact that he edits the crap out of them. Tried counting one time and lost count. He is very informative though and I have learned quite a few build from him....

I watched him for a while, his older videos were helpful when I first started vaping, he pointed me in the right direction, but as his celebrity grew so did his ego,( and he's not the only one that I've seen this happen to) at least that's the feeling I got watching his more recent videos, or maybe he's just trying to hard to be entertaining, who knows. I do get his Dorky Stud and Nana's Cream on a regular basis.

Watching his first video and progressing to his current one, he's definitely developed his own persona that is unique amongst Youtube presenters. However, once he gets past the intros etc, his builds and reviews are very informative and concise. I gleaned a lot of information from his site before I began delving into the sub-ohm cloud chasing genre of vapers. Of course, reviews and builds work differently for each of us and our vaping experiences/expectations. To each his/her own...I like the feller.

I am a fan. Although his editing is a little edgy, it seems like he does this to get the information off faster. He packs a lot of information into 5 to 10 minute videos. He is the reason i know how to build today. I don't understand the point in disliking him. He makes money off of what he loves to do, and helps many people who do not know a lot about vaping. Keep trippin rip

as many have stated, at first he was an interesting and I learned alot from him. Now he seems to be to into his so called celebrityhood and i can not take him serious and wonder if he is now selling out for fame and ego.

I tend to turn off the volume for the first 4 or 5 minutes when he does his schtick. His build tutorials are good, once you get past the crap and his rants. Any reviewer that gets literally thousands of dollars in free high end vape gear needs to raffle the stuff off and give the money to charity, otherwise the reviewer is just a shill paid in vape gear by the vendor/manufacturer.

I am a fan but believe his beard has started growing into his brain effecting his sanity and editing decisions. There are so many jump cuts that I start to feel a little sea sick.But I must confess, jump cuts are sick as tits.

I enjoy Rip's videos. I find them entertaining. The only gripe is I wish he would ease off on the jump cuts. Sometimes they are unavoidable but they can be overused a bit. Other than that, its a fun watch. Plus I'm pretty sure anyone that has wrapped a coil has learned something from him at one point in time.

there was nowhere near enough edit cuts on that video....but I laughed my ass off.........Rips videos should have a warning for people prone to seizure from all the edits........but in the end, yes, I watch rip's videos and find them entertaining if not informative.

When we first met at a local shop he was talking about his new juice line. We were asking a the ratios and the coloring he said he would be adding, just tried to pick his brain. Didn't seem like he had any actual answers and more of this juice is top notch. So regardless oh his show or how good juice is I have trouble believing he had anything to do with it. Could be wrong thou just putting it out there

I started watching his videos when I quit smoking this past April. I actually went back and watched some of his very early vids. It seems like as his beard grew, his online personna got a little wackier. But that being said, I do think his videos are pretty informative, and I built my first coils just by watching his videos. I could do without the 100 edit cuts in every video, but I still enjoy him.

The guy has some really good coil building videos, seems informative and I feel does a lot for the community. Sometimes it seems like he is trying a bit too hard to be hip and cool or something. So I guess I am a fan.

RIP Trippers - this guy is a total nuisance. The only good thing about his videos is, nobody is forced to watch them. But I wouldn't be surprised if Gitmo inmates are, for the torture value.

The beard? Well, I ain't sayin' nothing cuz I sport the same sort of beard. So yeah, good taste there

But unlike him, I'm not completely off-kilter.

The coils? Completely unnecessary complication. The guy is trying very hard to look like a hardcore vaping expert. But the truth is, his builds are to vaping what big exhaust pipes, lowered suspensions and stickers on a Honda Civic are to motor racing: they might fool a casual onlooker into thinking it's rad, but real motoring enthusiasts know better.

Rip is great, what you want, some sort of straight video, with no flavor. You got plenty of those.
No like, then don't load the video. I prefer entertainment with the hobby.
As far as spoofs I prefer the Santa Claus Build one.

More like Nismo parts, Jim Wolf ECU, Cold Air Intake, Underdrive Pulleys, Coil Over GAB shocks, with a CARB approved Header, and front and rear sway strut tower braces, Borla Cat Back Exhaust, and some light weight SSR wheels to get that unsprung weight down........I have not seen him talking about wings and groundeffect kits, but if that floats your boat.

True story. He's a local boy, always at the vape meets around town. I've chatted with him a couple of times. Really nice guy, humble, totally into the vaping phenomenon. I think the main reason he started making videos was to promote the AC9 back when he was associated with Vapinaze here in Raleigh. He's certainly come a long way over the past couple of years!

Say what you want about the guy, but the whole frat-boy hopped up on PCP thing is part of what gets him YT clicks. There are hundreds of YT Vape reviewers out there but how many of them can the casual vaper name? Almost all can name him.

I just watched this video last night from him because my friend gave me his Trident atty. He posted it on 8/2013.
I just thought it was funny, he was so mellow and laid back. At one point he was talking about how he thought "sub ohming" was going to die out... He couldn't have been more wrong.
