If we had weather anywhere near that, they'd shut down the state, turn off the lights and roll up the sidewalks.

You know how it is, just a light drizzle and it makes news on needing to drive carefully.

Swear, some MotherFR sneezes and the streets flood lol

It's alright. When you guys catch fire, that makes up right quick for a lot of the miserable weather you don't get.

The walrus in the sea-animals skit at Sea World there in San Diego spat on me once, well twice actually. I was dumb enough to sit in the "drench zone," not realizing that's what it was! He got me twice with massive fountains of water he had scooped up out of the pool and spat straight up into the air. The water landed on me like it was Old Faithful coming down. Hot day, felt great, the crowd cracked up, huge fun. I loved Sea World.

You can keep that g-damn highway though. That thing is crazy scary.

San Diego traffic is so minor to what Los Angeles traffic is like... 4 years ago we moved here, 5:30pm in traffic and wasn't wanting to shoot anyone lol

San Diego County is 3.3m people

Los Angeles County is 10.6m people

The fires are bad here each year, and when CA gets a good rain year (Like this year) ... the following fire season gets its fuel.

You haven't lived till you get stuck in traffic for 2 or 3 hours! Most everybody heard or knows about the traffic on the 405 freeway, but it is all bad! Especially when it rains! The 5 fwy flooded because of the rain and then some yahoo was speeding and slammed in a couple of cars. Freeway closed both sides! It took me 2 1/2 hours to get home on surface streets, normally it takes 15 minutes. The last fire season my house was within half a block from mandatory evacuation line...

It wasn't being stuck in traffic that made me nuts! It was the SPEED, omg, like being on a race track! I was always in rental cars out there, so not used to the particular car, and as fast as I could make myself drive, I was still being blown off the road by people in Beemers going a hundred miles an hour (or more), talking on their cell phones, looking everywhere except at the road! It was the scariest damn driving I've ever done without question.

I never wanted to live anywhere that had all that horrible traffic, but I've been stuck in it in Atlanta a few times, and quite regularly at Research Triangle Park in NC when I worked out there. The slightest accident would bring everything to a stop, and traffic could be backed up for miles within just a few minutes. I'm sure it wasn't like LA, but it was enough to let me know that it sucks!

I don't deal with any of that any more, thank goodness.

@BrewBear that has got to be a nerve-wracking time, having fire come that close. Hope there was no damage to your home or property, that was a close call!

Traffic and driving in Mexico is even better! Making a right turn from the far left lane on a 6 lane boulevard with cars bumper to bumper...my favorite was an intersection called Cinco Puntos (five point). Five streets intersecting, no stop signs, no lights, it was a big game of chicken making it thru there.

Craziest expressway is the 1 or 9 in NJ/NY.

I remember driving that when I was in my early 20s and it was nutty.

San Diego people drive fast... I mean like 90mph on the freeways is normal...and I’ve yet to see anyone pulled over.

That is one thing I noticed in the past 20 years...

In NY when I would drive, people in the fast lanes and even the middle would move over if they saw lights flashing from a driver going faster than they were, even saw this while I lived in Michigan and New Mexico.

But in the past 20, you have these fucks who drive the speed limit or slower in the far left lane with their noses in the air saying to themselves no one owns the road, I am going the speed limit, get fucking bent.

Those are the ones I go in front and unload the contents of my wiper fluid on, cause I know for a fact...wiper blades, people generally procrastinate replacing yearly lol

The same when you flash your lights to warn those going the opposite way there is a trooper near a bridge.

Reminds me of grocery shopping... Mother fucker do you drive on the left side and do you just drive out in an intersection when aisles dont have the right of way compared to the main paths...

Yeah I hate people

I'm stuck in a rut! Only squonk I'm using is a GBox 200 with a Supersonic rda topper. I also use a few Dvarw tanks with different flavors. I want to bring back in rotation at least one Nuppin and one Odis 16, most probably on top of Pico Squeeze. The newer Pico Squeeze (2?) is anything but pico, more like a maxi-pico. Any other single 18650 small squonks out there? It has to be regulated. I still have all three of the Bernie (Studiovape) mods, topped with Nuppins but they see a lot of shelf life and very little actual use, they're too purty to knock them about.

It's not like a couple of years ago, when squonkers were flavour of the month. Not so many new releases. Everything is boro this, boro that.

If you check lunar festival clearances, probably a bunch of older squonks for $20ish

I use the GBox squonker also. Have the silver one. Bought it when it first came out and it still works great.
Plus a Luxotic silicone squonk bottle fits in them so i don't have to use the "concrete" plastic bottle it came with.

I don't buy high end stuff, so anything I know about isn't that, but I swear I can't think of a small 18650 regulated squonker. Hcigar has the DNA VT-75 that I think is single 18650, but I don't know that it's small or ergonomic. Seems kinda boxy to me. Aleader has the Bhive, which is also boxy and not ergonomic, and which in my mind is not a viable alternative. I really dislike the way it vapes, just weak and blah.

Single battery squonks, yes. There's the Topside single and the Lite, Hcigar's Towis Aurora, VV Pulse 80W and X, the Desire Cut, and (ugh) the iJoy Capo squonker. None of these are particularly small. For ease of use, either of the Topsides and the Cut are a couple of better ones.

Semi-regulated, right now for $5.99 plus shipping, Wismec Luxotic BF, two colors available at VapeNW. I'd buy another of these in a heartbeat if I needed another squonker. I have two already. The black honeycomb one is sharp with a small black single-coil RDA on it. I run a black Radius V2 (clone) on mine. Not much to lose on this one, and you could potentially love it. Small, easy to hold and use, vapes nice, decent quality, and looks really good. An O-Atty works great on it as well.

Well, I got a Topside Lite and an extra bottle.....should be here by Easter...2021!
The topsides are good. Maybe a bit heavy, but the board just works with no bullshit. Instant firing.

Button is a harsh click. Appeals to some, not others.

I've got one as well. Had it for a couple weeks. No issues so far and a lot lighter than the original. As far as 18650 There's always the hotcig RSQ. Always liked those.

You have one @DogMan ? I'm only asking because I think I remember you not liking the fire delays on some DNA chips. If you approve, I'm sure I'll like it.

Small/regulated, I have Wismec Luxotic Surface. It was under $30 and makes a great pocket freindly beater mod for squonking. It uses the same style/size bottles as the first Pico Squeeze. The battery doors can be ugly but I don't care.

Never even looked at them more than a passing glance, the squonk hole is in the wrong place (for me).
How is the Topside? Is TC actually a functional thing?
Used the old topside in Tc and was fine. Haven't explored the tc on the Topside lite yet

*manic laughter out of the darkness* "Fool, fools all of you I say."

No, not really because everybody does their own thing and that's all peachy. :)

Still, I pulled out the old brass CV this morning. Doing something strange for me. I'm letting the Topside Lite charge its battery. For me letting a mod charge itself is very odd, I normally use a battery charger.

Got the brass colored Wasp Nano on the brass CV. In the bottle is some bubbly gum juice. It has actually steeped too. Tastes quite yummy. :)

I still really enjoy bubblegum juice. Not sure I will ever get tired of it.

Have been thinking that it's time to lower my mixing percentage of flavors, finally. :ejuice:

A Squonker with an RDA?
But wait, it's a Steam Crave Aromamizer Plus with the newly released mesh deck and a Squonk 510 pin!

New champ in the Fugliest RDA competition.
I mean, it really is stupid-looking. But it's vaping really nicely, lol.

I use all three of my Elder Dragons on "boxy" squonkers - two on GV Athenas and one on a Luna. Before this particular configuration I used them on Pulse BFs. Guess I've just gotten used to the combination of shapes, but the Elder Dragons vape so well, I think they're just great. Come to think of it - I have four ED's, and I don't know where the fourth one is! May have packed it up. (My mod and tank list tells me I did just that.)

Anyway, I'll bet that is a very nice vape. That's what matters most, imo. :) But I don't think it's stupid-looking at all!

My bug collection grows with the newly acquired chalice IV, and boy does it look nice on the bf pure. So much so I may take it off the for sale list. It's also so damn comfy to hold. The only dislike I have for it is sometimes some juice leaks from the button when firing...

On a side note, I have really come to dislike self adjusting 510s as it seems every time I want to use a beauty ring I can't because the pin no longer reaches...

I take you live at one of those places? That'd suck because that site has a ton of great deals goin on. Falcon resin tanks are only three bucks. I bought some just to use the coils haha.

I just ordered a bunch of other stuff and it was $7.95 I think? My package will be heavy so I don't know if there's a cheaper option.

The cart I built wasn't that heavy and shipping was still $7.95. I think that's the cheapest it gets.

I didn't check the cart out yet, mainly because of that shipping. Am going to mull it over at lunch. There isn't anything I really need anyway.
