I ordered my second Kali V2 while they’re still around.

Best RDA. Change my mind.

Wrapped a couple staple coils from a pre made spool. Found a standard 510 pin in my pile to fit this kryten clone that's been sitting on my table taunting me for days. Threw the coils in with some cotton. Off we go!
This kryten clone is pretty solid! Looks classy, gives a great vape with these staples coming in at 0.16 ohms.

Built the Zeus X clone from Kidney Puncher last night. Clone looks decent, only thing that made me cringe were the PAINTED letters "ZEUS" on the deck cover. My authentic only has etched lettering there, but then again, the authentic is stainless and the clone is black. I don't have an authentic black one to know whether the letters on the deck cover are painted.

Oddly enough, when I first wicked the authentic, about half of the first tankful of liquid leaked out. I've had zero leaking so far with this one. The vape is very nearly as good, although the airflow does seem to be a little noisier and air is a little more open. Flavor is excellent on both. Deck screws seem to be ok, but then again, I didn't put them under any stress.

I was surprised to see that it came in a very convincing copy of GV's packaging, complete with a nice assortment of o-rings, spare glass, and a hex tool.

Not a bad investment of $19, and no 30- to 40-day wait. I'll keep it. :)

Tonight I built and put into use a Reload RTA clone that arrived from FT (finally). I had forgotten about it.

Used the coils that came with, they appear to be about 24ga round wire, about five wraps, probably K1. Ohms are at 0.28.

This thing was super easy to build and wick, seems of tolerable quality (not exemplary, but certainly worth more than what I paid, if it holds up), vapes well, not a drop of leaking. Flavor and vapor are exceptional. I'm running it at 42W. It's kind of a juice hog, but I suppose the majority of that comes from running it with dual coils and more cotton.

The one thing I noticed that I wasn't thrilled with was that the top o-ring that the tank glass slides onto could be a little more substantial. If I took this thing apart with juice in it, I'd have to be mighty careful that the whole tank didn't come apart in my hands.

The vape comes very damn close to being as good as the original Zeus. That's saying something, for me.

This is the SKU:

Edited to remove link

I'll wait to see how durable it is, and it all is well, I'll definitely order more, if FT continues to carry them.

ETA: Forget everything I said. This bitch has leaked half a tank of juice out since I put it into use yesterday. It has pissed me off to the point I just wrapped it in a paper towel and threw it to the side. I am not putting up with a fucking tank that leaks.

What I mentioned about the o-ring? I imagine that's the problem, the o-rings are so wimpy juice just leaks out all around them because they don't fucking seal. I'll mess with it when I'm not so aggravated.

Yeah I kinda like that about ordering China. By the time I get it it is a total surprise.
I just ordered about $40 worth of electronics components from Aliexpress, the surprise packages will start drifting in one at a time in a month or so.
I love electro mail!

I charged some batteries today. A lot of them. And I cleaned off my desk....there were about 60 flavorings on there, all grouped up by recipe. Inventoried a few new flavors(JF Pineapple! @debinnv talked it up so much).

Drooled over the new SQ mech.......I don’t need it.....want it......

Placed an order with slowtech. Picked up an expromizer v4, fatality m25 clone, some wire brushes for cleaning coils (hopefully work a bit better than soft bristle toothbrush), an extra glass for the expromizer, couple extra glasses for my manta rta. An extra pair of flush cutters, one of the standard graduated coil jigs, some silicone drip tip caps, an airlab rda clone and since they were so cheap, a couple of those coily type tools. See how they work, less than $2 for 2 of them so not a huge loss if they're more gimmicky.

Love how they don't give an eta for shit they claim is in stock until after you place the order. Shit like the coil jig isn't expected until 2-10-20 so there's a 2 week wait before it even ships the slow boat. Who knows by the time the boat comes rolling in people might even still be vaping. lol.

For those wondering, the 15% FT code is "CNYRAT15" good through 1-26. The 27th through 30th it drops to 10% off using code "CNYRAT10".

I was just looking for something to knock the gunk off fused claptons. Currently when I wash coils I use a bit of dishsoap and a toothbrush with warm water, scrub a dub dub but doesn't seem to really get it all off the metal. Probably better if it is fiber vs metal on metal to avoid tearing up the wrap wire.

Usually how I do but sometimes it just doesn't seem to get the crud off. My coils stay darker with stuff stuck in the nooks and crannies just pulsing/rinsing them.

I use roundwire coils. Just pulse em till crud burns loose a bit. Then while hot dip in water. The boiling action next to the hot wire blows off a bunch of crud. Repeat as needed until all crud gone. I do usually strum once or twice during the process to get off the stuff between the windings.

Finally had time to wash a bunch of atomizers to be stored that have been sitting in soapy water for a week. Wish I could taste my vape. It's hard for me to vape wile sick.
Something got hold of me for nearly 2 weeks, so I hope you feel better soon.<3

Today I thought about changing wicks in 2 set ups, instead I refilled juice in only one. For a job that doesn't take much time, I sure don't feel like doing it.

Fortunately mine is coming to an end. Don't feel like hammered dog shit anymore. Some light congestion and missing taste buds.

Working 14 hr days and being sick I haven't done jack vape related.

Yep when I have the crud it is all that I can do to do what I absolutely have to do.
Just one decent cold thing and a couple of light issues in the past 5 years though. Since i quit smoking, and even better now since I do not work and interact with many people.
aka germ carriers.

Yep. yep. I work with about 30 people on this current show run and the crud has been passed around.

Oh good. I'm not the only one that will shop and drool over things for months before I actually pull the trigger.
Nope. I wanna make sure that I like what I’m gonna get. Research and all that. Check reviews, etc....really, I don’t need anymore mods or rdas or anything, but.....I need back ups for my 50 backups.
