Funny how I know so many people who get their flu shots every year and get the flu every year, and then there are people like me who never get the shot and never get the flu. Sigh...

I think I had the sniffles once in the last year or so. :) But the last time I had the flu was in 1967, shortly after the USAF gave me a flu shot in basic training.

At the risk of having a whole shitload of three-letter acronym agencies pounding on my door, I wish someone would off that fucking RINO right now.

Oh, THAT taste... Hmmmm...not sure if I have either. Maybe Lannie knows a good strawberry. Yoo hoo, Sweetums...

I only use Capella Sweet Strawberry for my strawberry flavor. I like it a LOT, but it's the only one I've ever used, so I don't know, maybe there could be better ones. The sweet strawberry tastes like when you slice up a bunch of ripe strawberries, put 'em in a bowl, and sprinkle sugar on top until the juice starts to ooze out... YUM. Someone gave me a recipe once that uses 16% sweet strawberry and 16% vanilla bean ice cream (CAP) that's really good. I know, it's a lot of flavor, but YUM.

And I don't know how much we'll be enjoying the weather today. One forecast says a high of 61 and the other one says a high of 55, but they both say winds gusting to 40mph. It might not be good coop cleaning weather after all, not with that wind, and those big plywood doors that act like sails... :( But hey, at least it's not 20 below, right?

Any wheat begin sprouting today?...........:)
We still have a lot of snow cover --- ain't nothing growing here. And both the above-mentioned forecasts were wrong (55 and 61 ºF). Our high today was 49 ºF, but luckily the 40 mph wind didn't happen either. While Lannie and I were cleaning the coop, the wind was only about 10 mph, though right about sunset, it went up to 20-30 mph for a couple hours.

Wish I was there. Maybe your temps would be enough to make this worn out old body get up easier in the morning. I think I ruined a million muscles today shoveling out the coop and wheeling tons of shit across the corral (on ice). To be honest, it hurts even to sit at the computer at the moment.

Efficient Laboratories, Inc. Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Rompe Pecho EX, Rompe Pecho CF, and Rompe Pecho MAX due to Microbial Contamination

January 31, 2020 -- Efficient Laboratories, Inc. is voluntarily recalling one lot each of Rompe Pecho EX, Rompe Pecho CF, and Rompe Pecho MAX liquid. Specifically, we are recalling the following lots: Rompe Pecho EX lot 19F332, exp June 2022, Rompe Pecho CF lot 19H359, exp August 2022 and Rompe Pecho MAX lot 19B42, exp February 2022. These three lots have been found to contain microbial contamination.

Notice the drugs have Spanish names? While these guys incorporated in Florida and have an annual revenue of about $2.4M, they have only 5 employees there. Surely no one is stupid enough to think they make any of their drugs in this country...

Man, more contamination..?....you'd think they would change the narrative, just for the hell of it.

Seems to me that none of these drug companies has any quality control. Why? Because they only want lots of profit and they don't give a rat's ass if they kill you.

Hmmmm... your lows are slightly above freezing, but I bet that still makes all your "neighbors" a little crazy. Our high today was only 26 and it is currently only 20, but we lucked out and all the heavy snowfall was south of us.

If they say low 30-ish that means about 28. Hope my grapefruits and oranges don't freeze.....

I remember one morning when I lived in Tucson when it was 28 and snowed (and stuck), but it was 50 and sunny by noon and you couldn't tell winter ever happened.
