I do this thing with tanks I have. I love blue tanks with red orings, or red tanks with blue orings. I tried it with my Screen tanks but theres white too. So they both look like they would be great at a fourth of July party :D.

I like them better this way but will probably put them back to normal.

I'll have to take a picture of all of my Blue/Red tanks some day. Do any of you do this kind of thing too?

You are correct on both counts. I like cheap. Just don't like junk. Cheap and not-junk is good.
Indeed.

In the vape world, if you shop patient and smart and don't mind used stuff in good condition too, you can get your hands on some fabulous gear at bargain bin prices.

I can't even believe all the crap I have now. I have like 50 mods, at least that many atomizers and a bunch of building and maintenance stuff. Some of it even reaching in to the high-ISH end.

If I priced it all new and retail and compared it to what I actually paid, I doubt if I paid 30% of what it was all originally worth. There's no way I could ever afford it otherwise.

I should throw in here too, that I have learned along the way that there is such a thing as cheap low end mainstream equipment that is flat down killer when it comes to performance.

A couple quick examples would be the D-Barrel and the Rementry RDA. (I just tweaked the coil placement on that RDA)

20 dollar Smok mod brand new and you can get the Rementry at ecigcity right now for a buck and a half. Both cheapos.

I'm here to tell ya, if I blindfolded anybody and handed them that setup how I have it and they couldn't tell what mod it was, they would be raving at how awesome a vape that is. Until they took the blindfold off

The only time I've done that was while I was using a bunch of Kabuki clone tanks. On the HoH website, they have all kinds of colors of o-rings for the Kabuki. I bought some of those and had one tank with teal and one with cranberry rings. Have some purple ones somewhere, but I never used them because I didn't have anything to match! Wanted to use them on a black Kabuki.

Those look fun, though with the rings and drip tips mixed and matched!

Vcigo Moonbox is another PRIME example. That thing is really really good. It succeeds spectacularly at what it tries to be. Cheap chintzy, brain dead simple and performs like an absolute champ.
Been looking for one of those for a while. Those are hard to find these days...

I saw that mod listed in a "best vv mods of 2018" list somewhere the other day. Apparently you aren't the only one who likes it! I know they were selling for next to nothing before they finally disappeared last year.

I paid 15 bucks for mine and yes, they have gotten scarce. Another time I could kick myself for not getting 2.

I'll keep an eye out. Everybody should have a Moonbox. :D Fantastic performer. Especially at those ridiculous prices.

There's a site, marketplacevape.com, that shows an orange one in stock for $27.95 with free shipping, but the site rings my hinky-alarm. Something about it just doesn't feel right. Wonder if anyone knows anything about that company?

I checked out the site and they’re sold out. Someone from here must’ve gotten there first!

Today boyfriend got "fishing hooks" in the mail from 3aVape. aka Aspire coils.
Tell him to be careful I’ve gotten a fishing hook or three stuck in me and they don’t come out easy, especially if the barb gets in.
Wink wink, just in case the feds are monitoring our beloved forum. Gotta keep up the charade to avoid getting raided for our “fishing hooks”, “headphones” and “fidget spinners”.

Can I spin my fidget now? It keeps wanting to spin. I notice it seems to smoke when I spin it. Hm. It might need more cotton in its reel.
Getting the right amount of cotton in the reel is important so that it casts properly. To little and you got a wet reel, to much and it won’t cast worth a shit.
Man the government will need some top notch code breakers to decipher our communications. The government can have my fishing gear when the take it from my cold dead hands.

Dont you hate when you get a birds nest? Spend 3 hours backing it out, especially with braid.

Those are the worst, I had a baitcasting reel in the late 80’s early 90’s and never got comfortable casting that thing. Several years went by and my buddy picked one up. He said he had it mastered and let me try it. After I used it successfully I found out it had a magnetic brake system that made it a joy to use. My old reel had some kinda brake on it but I think it was just mechanical and it was very ineffective. Well I saved some money and bought a new baitcaster with an excellent brake system, a mechanical and magnetic system that works very well. I’ll still get a minor backlash from time to time but it’s a case of user error. With the good reels out today you only need minor skill to avoid the dreaded birds nest.
Now the Feds are gonna be really confused, are they talking about fishing or are they talking vaping. Hell I don’t even know. Gotta keep em guessing

Whewie! I've tried making up and using braided fishing line. Not too good for me. I do pretty good using just twisted twine. I made some for bit of a bobbin of that shiny metal thread, not Kanthal but the stuff which doesn't stain. What I made was 26 times two twisted up together. It was reading 0.30 and keeps doing that. :)

Screw the government I'll fish, hunt, trap if needed to survive all without any licenses or registrations. Need be I'll barter and trade to get gear, ammo. I can live "withe the land and Nature" too. Might to try running us out but they won't stomp no ol' country boys.

We'll smell and see 'em coming ten miles out. And actually twenty due to knowing a few here abouts that keep us in the loop. Mama done raise her boys to think like rabbits too. We usually have three to six ways to ingress and egress. Not all of those are charted or come up on that fancy Google Plots Souls.

Lmao!!
Similar history with them. Now I stick with curado for baitcast and stradic for spinning both on falcon coastal rods and braided line.
Havent gone offshore in years but still have my beastmasters for that.
Damn, apparently I'm a shimano fan, never noticed until I saw it written out like that.

I have an Abu Garcia baitcaster and an older Shimano baitcast reel. The Shimano is heavy duty, I have that loaded with braided line and use it for catfishing. I also have Abu Garcia spinning reel on a St. Croix rod. The Shimano is also on a St. Croix rod and the Abu baitcast is on G Loomis rod. I only fish freshwater but one day I’d love to go fishing in the ocean, guided because I have very little knowledge and zero experience. Plus I’d need the gear provided because my freshwater setups wouldn’t cut it. Nice gear by the way firebird.

Love the st croix! Great for reds!
Loomis are terrific for trout, I had one but a bullred decided he would snap it for me.
Damn thing nearly flipped me over out of my kayak. That was the experience that moved me towards the Falcons. Kind of a great in between rod for me. Sensitive enough to feel everything, but has the flex for fighting a big red without being brittle.

Hey @Just Frank I just discovered that the Sense Super Mesh Tank that VapeNW has (also for $9.99) uses the S2 Screen coils. Just fyi, in case you're interested. I kinda like the look of the Super Mesh tank, so thought I'd mention that. Was thinking about ordering one for my son, plus some coils from EJS.

ETA: Never mind! Watched a video review - just No. It's plastic and junky. Close up, looks like a waste of money.

Lol, yeah I saw those. The top fill is a rubber seal like pods have.

I finally set up on of my Screen tanks. The flavor is really good, and right away. I'm using the dual mesh coil one. It vapes good at 50W. But as you go upwards in wattage, it seems to perform even better. 70W is where I've settled and it tastes awesome. I'm using Sweet Strawberry Cream by Cheeba Steeba. Next, I'm going to try something bakery-ish.

I've also thought about ripping one of the mesh coils out and plugging the hole with cotton. Then use half the wattage to see how I like it. Who knows, it might be a genius plan.. *evil, sinister laugh* Mu-hahahahaha

Plus the Sense Screen mesh coils(S2 and S3) went up in price to $2.99 a pack at EJS instead of .50 a pack last week.
I placed and paid my order for the S2 and S3 on January 30th and EJS has still not shipped them yet.

They were still 50 cents this morning when I looked. Yikes! That's a long time to sit on an order. Is it time to e-mail them?

I just looked to see if my order shipped yet and that is when I noticed the price increase.
Yes I did email them and they told me they would ship out my order today or tomorrow- kind of late for today- so hoping tomorrow! They said they had enough stock- just waiting for them to box and ship them.
Not sure why they are taking so long?

Hey, has anyone here tried the Freemax Tea Coils from 8Vape that come in a black box?

They’re not like the regular silver ones, they’ve got a black coating on them? They taste odd to me.

Does anyone know what’s up with these? Thanks!

I'm glad a bunch of us could get in on them when they were so low. $2.99 all of a sudden doesn't look that good. They're well worth a buck a coil. But when it's 6 packs of coils vs 1 (for the same amount of money), it makes it look not so enticing. I dunno.. that's still lower than a lot of people are used paying I'm sure.

Seems to make sense to me that if they use a different wicking fiber, the taste could be affected. Don't know those coils, but just saying.

.25cents- .50 cents a pack is a awesome deal- enough of a deal for me to buy the tanks to go with them. While I mainly use rebuildable tanks- nice to have some of these factory sub ohm coils and tanks for when I am too busy or lazy to build !
