Teflon drip tips

I recently got me a couple of Teflon drip tips and I love them. They are really slick and have not had any mouth crud deposits on them after several weeks of daily use. So my question is do any of you have a good place with an excellent selection of Teflon drip tips? They have to be 510 because I don’t use 810’s at all. I much prefer the smaller hole and the restrictive airflow I get from a 510. I’ve never gotten acclimated to the 810’s , they are just wrong. So I need a source for some vase or some variation of the vase in 510 made of Teflon. If you haven’t had the pleasure of using a Teflon drip tip I suggest you keep an eye on this thread and get yourself one, it will not disappoint. Thanks in advance to any contributions you can provide me.

I got mine years ago at FT. the teflon nozzles tend to have a small hole as the teflon is not as strong/hard as other commonly used materials.

Thanks guys, I didn’t realize fasttech has that many Teflon drip tips. Excellent selection but if anyone else has any sources please share, the more the merrier.

I didn’t know that but small holes work fine for me. Of the two I currently have, one has a small sized hole but the other one is pretty big for a 510.
It’s walls are thick though so that provides the needed strength. Thanks for the tips guys, no pun intended.

I only use Teflon ones, no more lip crud. Extremely low coefficient of friction so the crud don’t stand a chance of sticking to my tip. Although I do wonder...where does all the crud go?:slowclap:

I guess I'm not as deep in the rabbit hole as I thought. I never considered the friction coefficient when picking out a drip tip...

You guys don’t know what your missing. I used to just wipe my drip tips too but when I got these Teflon tips I didn’t even realize for a few weeks that I never wiped them and there was zero crud. If you haven’t tried one you should give it a shot. This is my favorite, from fasttech, they have a good selection, different shapes and sizes but I think they are basically white or black so that is the only con if you need colors. Black matches everything and I’m an ardent “form follows function” kinda guy. Like hood scoops on cars with no ram air and that do nothing or them fake slots on the quarter panel that are closed so don’t even cool the brakes or spoilers on cars that don’t generate down force nor need it. Those are just the cars ones I can think of but it’s a mantra I like to follow for everything in my life. If it serves no purpose then I don’t need it. Oh here’s the pic of my fav DT

Conveniently, I don't have drip tip gunk build up on mine very often at all. I don't put my lips around the drip tip, I put the end of the drip tip to my lips, so the sides don't get any build up since my lips dont touch the sides. I will occasionally get some on the end of the drip tip, maybe once a month or so I have to clean a little off. But I know I do it differently than most ppl do.
