Hey

How do u folks finding ur flavors, when ur mixing?

What kind of systems do u use? Or do u have a system?

With lots of different flavors, it can sometimes be very difficult or even frustrating find a specific flavor.
It can sometimes be like finding a needle in a haystack...

Your DIY juice questions will be seen by more mixers over there.

Hello! Being you’re in Denmark, you’ll probably want to go to Chefs Flavors in the UK. They have lots of what we’re using in the US....and they have all the fun daapy stuff we’re not allowed to have.

I’m not sure what you mean about a “system”.

I use the simple Old School system called Trial and Error. I have never really found what others do, does it for me but I do take what they do and give it my own flare. When I first started, I took flavors that appealed to me and made Stand Alone bottles and then I put some of this and some of that in a tank once I had perfected them to my liking and experimented. I have never made a clone or tried to recreate someone else's recipe but I sure have taken theirs and made my own. Good Luck~!

I think OP means a storage system for flavors.

I have mine sorted in snap-top plastic storage boxes, separated by maker for primaries like TFA, FA, Cap, FW, Flv. Then I have VTA, WF, JF, DIYFS, Hangsen, and Inawera in one box. In the single-maker boxes I try to keep flavors at least roughly in alphabetical order.

All these smaller boxes are stored in a softside cube. I also have a basket that holds my PG, VG, Nic, scale, and a few overflow flavors.

Sounds to me like they're wondering how to come up with a recipe.
Is it diyeliquid.com that has a calculator where you can enter what flavors you have and it will generate a recipe?

I use various kinds of boxes that my husband has accumulated over the years. One is a large rectangular margarine tub, one a part of a multi-piece lunch kit, and the others are like the ones below. They are a mixed bag of different things. Believe me, it's nothing fancy. But really, any kind of plastic box that is a good transportable size and is tall enough for flavor bottles will work.

There is room in the softside cube to stack up at least six of these boxes or more, and still have some room for extra PG/VG or empty bottles.

Several of my boxes are similar to these:

The lunch kit box is like the one on the bottom in this picture:

Softside cube is similar to this one, I think these are something like 14" square:

Wire basket like this, about a foot long, I stack all the boxes up and then just sit the basket on top:

hoxton-basket.jpg

My wire basket has become cluttered over time - it contains flavors I don't have room for in the other boxes, plus working-size bottles of nic, PG, and VG, and my scale. Most of my TFA 30ml bottles are in this basket because I don't have room for them in the box they should be in.

Every now and then as flavor collection grows I have to get another box or two and rearrange things. Right now I need to divide TFA flavors into two groups, am still thinking about what groupings make sense and how I can get about an equal number of flavor bottles in the two groups.

Maybe one of these days I'll spring for a collection of boxes that match! :)

Was just curious to see what other people does, if some have alphabetical systems etc. and maybe I could get some ideas for my own simple plastic basket non alphabetical system.
Pg and vg i have in 5 and 10 liters cans... I use a lot.
Just order 15 liters of each today, that not need a system

I don't buy huge quantities of PG and VG, but do generally buy it in half-liter bottles. I just reuse a couple of 240ml bottles for active mixing, so I don't have to handle the large bottles.

This is an old picture, it's full now and there is a second. I actually could use 2 or 3 more. What I don't have in the racks are in hardware organizers arranged alphabetically and by profile (tobacco, fruits, etc)

PG and VG I buy by the gallon and use 240 ml bottles for those for mixing.

I have a tool/fastener organizer. It has lots of drawers. I labeled each drawer and can find what I need right away.

Sounds nice and really effective

Yeah it works well for me. I try to keep only my most used flavors in it. I also have little plastic bins with flavors I either didn't like or dont use often. I've been thinking about getting a second drawer thingy because some of the drawes have gotten pretty crowded. Here's what it looks like-
akro-mils-tool-storage-bins-10124-64_1000.jpg

It works well though. I know which drawer is where and what's in it without the labels. I've used it so much for retrieving flavors, that over time I have it memorized.
