Mod Recommendation Needed

Hey, y'all.

So, the eLeaf I have been twisted up about and posting panicked posts about... I found out WHY it's being difficult. It's not supportive of the coils I have. That being said, I'm just looking for a mod that DOES support it.

The coils I have are FREEMAX Fireluke M TX1 Mesh Coil 0.15ohm 40-90W, so I'm looking for a mod that will support this... but not break my bank. My budget is about twenty bucks with a few extra dollars to cough up for shipping. Starving artist and broke college student. :p The struggles are real. heh.

Anyway, you guys have been amazing in helping me before, I hope this is okay to reach out - yet again - and ask yet another question! :D

Thanks so much!

Where are the deals people? @Just Frank @nadalama can you help this guy out? I’m too stuck on drowning myself in flavoring to know where the deals are for hardware.

You might want something like this Eleaf Istick. Sorry if China takes near forever to get to you. This is just a suggestion along the lines of what you might need, though. At that low a price you're going to be limited on what you can get. You don't need much however.

You know there's something going around, too. Why don't you send me a PM here on the board. I think I got something called a Topside you might like. I got it and don't care for it because it's a regulated device. Not a thing wrong with it.

Oh yeah, the boss here says I need to tell ya, put a mailing address in your pm.

I'll see what I can find. Eightvape had Vaporesso Taro Nanos for $15 but maybe they're gone? I'll look. I love snatching up under 20 dollar mods but don't remember seeing any recently.

Eightvape also had Vapo.. Swags for $20 but those all sold out and only support 22mm anyways I think. I'll keep an eye out @sprainedbraincell. If we cant find any deals I'll sell you one of my unused $20 mods :).

LOL Bah! They don't want no $20 mod they gotta buy. Nah, better they take my give away $70 mod I got for $40, and take for free. LOL

I dunno know though. I'd need to find a mod for the Gorge to sit on. Oh well.

This is a helluva deal right here, comes with two 20700 batteries for that price ($19.99).

Fires down to 0.05 ohms, 230W, see if you see a color in stock that you like.

Shipping is a little bit steep, $7.55 for me, but if you can swing that, I don't know where you'll find a better use of your money, really. I've been looking around a lot lately.

Don't the rest of you go buy 'em all up before OP gets a chance to look!

That's an awesome gesture. If it's the Topside lite the op can use the non squonk portion of it just fine. Then later if they decide they can rda it up and learn to squonk. Having to learn to build coils may be a deterant for a college kid though.

True. Didn't attend college myself but was military and then working around that age. I recall being impatient back then. Wait, ... twenty years plus on and I still cannot be still.

Had to get up for a head call. Shrek decided he needed one as well. Let him out and he woke up the rest of the house with his barking. I heard something snort at him and it didn't sound like a deer. Got a light, looked. A dang old racoon was out on the outside porch trying to decide if it wanted to get into the trash bags piled up out there.

Shrek took to correcting him. It sat up and out of his reach. I brought Shrek back in and told Mr. Racoon to bugger off. As it's raining he decided to climb up the corner of the front porch and hang out with the eaves for cover. Now, wife's letting Shrek back out. I hope he goes on and goes potty leaving poor old racoon alone.

Don't suspect rabies at all. It's night and a racoon is out. That's how it's to be. The trash drew it in and that too is how it is to be. Now, if if it was daylight I might be a bit more watchful of a racoon being out. Even then, I wouldn't be terribly concerned. Gee, we live in the country raccoons, possums, groundhogs, foxes are expected.

Her granddad at one time had a racoon he kept in his barn. It was joked I scared him off. Told my wife this was probably that same racoon. She chuckled but agreed. That too is as expected. Trouble being if Shrek tries taking the racoon on, the racoon will win, tear Shrek up. That too would be expected, a shame, but expected nonetheless.

Ah. *yawn* Always something I reckon. *shaking my head* Her BIL has Big Red, her granddad's old Ford pickup fouled up again. The starter is out again same as last time. It'll be ages before he fixes it. Me, wife and her mom all three know that her sister and BIL could take a brand new vehicle and use it a month and it would be ruined and broken down. They don't care, don't keep stuff up. Shoot, they ought not own dogs for their lack of care, vehicles is no different. Oh but of course, he's "the greatest and most bestest, ..." *makes rude dismissive gesture*.

I need some coffee but don't feel like going out into the galley with him now setting out there like an imposing lump of shit. Reckon I just might though. We do "live" here as well after all. We don't want to but life the bitch, well, ... So it is hopefully temporary for us.

You can get a Hcigar wildwolf or a Smoant Cylon from fasttech for under $40 each. I just ordered one of each.

Apologies for a derail this morning. It is the Topside Lite as hinted at by @MrMeowgi. I unboxed it again and was using it a little more. Still though nothing at wrong with it. Wouldn't take me long to clean up and box back up, original box.

I simply don't enjoy regulated devices any longer. That aside I might at some point have one or two, as spares. I'm not fully dismissing regulated devices. "Yes, yes, I am! Muhaha!" "Sir, your typing microphone was still on." "oh, oops."

I don't prefer regulated devices for my fear of one bricking as I use it. Mechanical mods can usually be sorted out, fixed if need be. I'd need college level electronics and all kinds of special tools for fixing a regulated device. To me it's not worth the effort or skill.

Look they crank regulated devices out using CNC production lines by the thousands, tens of thousands. They're meant as "throw away" devices. Mechanical mods can be too but they seem a bit more durable with the simplicity they're afforded. "Look any ape can rub two rocks together and fix this thing."
