Order from Asmodus.com today. Story behind the Lustros. I actually named these after two of my daughter's who picked them out for.me. the purple one is Pandora (my 17 yr old) and the green one is Cheyenne (my 14 yr old). And the color is their favorite colors. The first time they actually agreed on something in it seems like forever, so I had to order them...lol...not a bad price either ($34.99/kit). The Ohmie tank and drip tips were freebies.

That's awesome. And I love their names. Definitely don't hear them often.

So I ordered this thinking it was something it wasn't... Not sure if I'm impressed, disappointed, or shocked. It's essentially an RDTA Genesis style atomizer, but how it wicks and works has be baffled. Unfortunately, any review I see on it is in German so...

Vapor Giant Extreme (DLC) - and I know me... I'm a sucker for gennies, one-offs, and high end shit. So when I see this I was like "OOH A GENNY!". So I ordered it, patiently waited for it, and then it arrived, I opened it up and I was kind of sad. But yeah... Give me a day or two with it and I will post more feedback. It's like a super tall "you can't misplace it" Avocado tank with an ultem tank section. And me... I hate plastic / ultem tank sections. For reasons...

I will say... The way this thing wicks, it wicks like a fucking monster. I haven't had or used wire rope, ever, at all in any of my gennies. So I am at a loss of words...

Ahhhh the Mason RDA. I have one of those still. Filed it in with "Legacy Hardware". With a few other oldies but goodies... Reminds me of a time I was a bit happier and nubish.

I wish I hadn't given away a bunch of shit. I gave away a Cronus telescoping mech, a Trident, a V3 Flip, Kayfuns, etc. Miss that stuff sometimes, I really do.

I wonder if that drip tip is 810 compatible... I don't think it is. I know it had a 510 adapter in the box... But I think the drip tip was proprietary.

As for it's age... I believe it went into production around 2016/2017... They are only making a few more over there last I checked. It's a Colorado designed / made atty - as well as all things made by those guys. I forgot who made it again... But yeah, it's a good RDA. Machining is pretty on point. Plating was on point too. I have the 24mm gunmetal one. Same company that made the Alliance RDA as well as a few other items. Yosh (if that's correct spelling) is the guy in charge.

Vaporgate is the company.

I used the SS rope in my Kracken's when i first got them. Took me a while to get it down but after a few builds, i got it down.
I did modify one by drilling the 2 holes larger in the top and running cotton in them. Also drilling the airflow larger. Good taste but the cotton suffers after a few days.

When I get home tonight, I'll take this thing apart and show you all what I mean. So like... The rope sits down in the juice - like ALL THE WAY DOWN, and you lay a bed of cotton over the top. Weird sounding, I know, but somehow, it keeps feeding juice to the cotton. Not sure how, but it does.

The instructions say not to run anything below 1.2 ohms out of fear it will break something...? Which is strange honestly... Considering you'd need some high gauge wire 28-30G at least unless you were running 26G 12 wraps or something.

The deck is a simple velocity style deck with 2 options for airflow. One directly at the coils and the other from beneath the coils. I use directly at, for cautious reasons. The slots are angled but I don't trust them.

It's Vapergate, not Vaporgate. :D Yes, the drip tip is proprietary, which I normally dislike a lot, BUT... for some strange reason, in their case I think it actually is a real bonus as for how it vapes. My first Mason was the Mason Advocate dark chrome, which is essentially the 27mm version of the 2-post Mason. I also own both the 24mm and the 30mm version of the 2-post (i.e., Gemini Series II) Mason in gunmetal, and their matching 24mm and 30mm Limited Edition postless decks, as well as both the 24mm and the 30mm Limited Edition Mason V2, gunmetal. The V2 is essentially the same as the 2-post Mason, but with separately adjustable bottom airflow in addition to the 2-tiered side airflow. I like to use the V2 with the side airflow completely closed off. Here's an old pimped up pic of my build deck from my 30mm Mason V2.

I have and absolutely love the Alliance as well. In fact, I think I would say it is my favorite RDA of all time. Ah the proprietary DT. Yeah, that just sucks, but I do believe it is perfect for these two RDA's. When I bought my mason, they had a red DT for like $8. I almost didn't buy it (not knowing at the time they are not 810) So glad I did. These two get the most use by me hands down. The Alliance V2? Well, that's another story

I've seen those around (ones with cable wicking?). I won one in a contest from Fasttech. That was almost two years ago and I still haven't tried it. It's called (Taifun) BT Styled Atomizer from Fasttech. It's got the cable wicking things but the deck is for mesh. I put it in a drawer and always forget it's in there. I'll have to try it out some time soon. Here's a photo-

So when you put cotton in that, would you just stuff it down so that it lays on top of where those wicks come up into the deck?

I had looked at the Brunhilde when it first came out last year, believe it uses those cable wicks also. Was intimidating as hell, so I moved on. Still don't quite understand what the difference is in a Genny and an RDTA, don't know why you couldn't build a Genny with cotton pushed down into the tank the same as an RDTA. Cotton does have to be changed more often, only thing I can figure, unless the cable wicks make a big difference in flavor.

Yeah, just sort of a bed of cotton. I know what you're talking about with the holes. I wonder why the little cables are there. Maybe they kick ass at wicking more?

Here's the breakdown and how it's built / wicked... Strange how it works AGAINST gravity... But it does:

1.) Completely broken down. Everything EXCEPT the build deck area. There's a lot of pieces to the build deck and the 510 pin threads DIRECTLY INTO THE FILL TUBE!

2.) Tank section - 3 pieces - the 510 base, PEI Tank Section, and steel tank guard.

3.) Build deck with wire cables installed. Note the threaded portion of the build deck - that's the fill tube - threads into the tank section.

4.) The 510 pin is very short, and for that - DO NOT USE WITH A HYBRID TOPCAP!

5, 6, & 7.) Coils are close to posts - diameter is 23mm. I cut my wicks really short so they JUST TOUCH THE BOTTOM - And leave a nice space between the wick tails and beneath the coil.

8 & 9.) I fill through the center pole - and within a few seconds it was saturated.

10.) Fully reassembled.

Hey ya'll... I'm on the lookout for new kanger kbox/subox/topbox mini's... either the 50w or the top 75w, but I prefer the 50w. Can be just the mod or the kit. If anyone has any new ones sitting around, hit me up!

I hope you enjoy that. I LOVE mine and use it all the time. Solid and reliable as a rock, no mess, great battery life. It's one of my favorites.

It looks fantastic- the price was too good for me to pass by since I have wanted one of these for a while now! Fill system looks great too and can hardly wait to try this out!

I got a couple more liters of nic from Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers.
View attachment 156459
Their nic seems legit enough for me. I'm pleased with the last stuff I got.

Also got some Falcon M-Triple coils from there too.
View attachment 156460
People have been looking all over for these coils. There's supposed to be a restock (nationwide) sometime but I don't think it's happened yet.

I have a regular Falcon tank, but I stopped using it because of the leaking.

I got a liter of their pre-mixed (bases & nic) 6mg stuff the other day. Dang is that easy. Put in flavors, fill up bottle. Bam! Done! I could get used to that.

But anyway, I've sampled it and don't taste anything weird, so I think their nic is ok too. Good to know, 'cause you sure can't beat those prices.

I bought that and it’s super easy. I got two 500ml and use the Luer Locks to get it out. Makes my mixing really simple!
