I just spent $15 a pop plus shipping on two District F5ve drip tips. It's my birthday so I can justify pampering myself, but holy christ, $15 drips tips lol. They better be the f'ing matchy matchiest tips ever for the tanks I got them for. smh.

Here are the 2 I have on me right now. I have at least 11, some 510, some 810.

Before it's too late, you should check Rhonda's RDA drip tip styles at www.angelsheavenlydesigns.com

You pick the acrylic blank (there are tons of different ones) and the style, the height, the "fatness." Believe me, if you say "fat as possible," what you get is gonna be FAT. Anyway, $7-$9 each plus shipping for RDA sizes, and it usually takes her a couple of weeks to make them and send them out, custom-made to your specs.

She is going to be retiring soon, so don't wait too long, if you're at all interested. A bunch of us here have ordered tips from her. She's very skilled and has immaculate attention to detail.

HMM and D5 tips are nice, I do have a couple, but imo Rhonda's are nicer, and they're available in far more colors and styles.

By the way, none of the vape purchases I've made have been insane. I've been in my right mind with every one of them. *cough cough* *hacks up a fur ball*

15 dollars for a driptip isn't bad. Back when dotmod had first come out, I was paying 25 a pop for theirs.

Probably the dumbest purchase I made was $250 on a crowdsourced "future proof" dna 200 mod that wasn't future proof. I think it was called the whiteout dna. It was big, clunky and rather fragile.

I think I've seen one of those Whiteout DNA mods somewhere online, in a vape store, a NOS item I guess.

Yeah, the first AHD drip tip I ordered was about $25, before Rhonda lowered her prices, and not bought during a sale. $15 isn't so bad.

I know one thing, I'd rather pay $25 for a dotmod drip tip than pay $20 for one of their damn squonk bottles!

Many moons ago, I paid over $100 for a crowdsourced squonker from a member either here or ECF. There weren't many options out there besides Reos at the time and $100 for a squonker was a good price. It's pretty and I still have it. However, it arrived DOA and the builder disappeared off the face of the earth. There were quite a few pissed off people.

I'll get around to fixing it one day.

Edit: Spelling.

The ONE Tip has screw threads between the top half and the bottom half sections. These screw threads are actually pretty delicate so they can strip fairly easily if you don't watch out, but normally you won't need to unscrew them anyway so... I just thought I'd let you know beforehand.

As for my most insane vaping purchase, last Monday I got two really hard to find mech mods... they were 1.4k Euros. Each.

They went oob before all orders were fulfilled. It was a great concept but poor execution issue.

Ouch. But I’m sure they’re very beautiful, knowing you.

in all honesty ......they are all insane and picking one would be hard...there's been too many of them......the insane yardstick kinda got tossed out the window a long time ago.

yeah back in the day REO was the only game in town....when I first started vaping my first choice of atties was going to be squonkers, but when I saw the price of a REO...I decided ...maybe I won't start off with squonking just yet.....and I went off in a totally different direction.

Agreed, $15 isn't that terrible for custom tips. Lawless tips are $15 for 510, $25 for 810 I think. Idk, after ordering mine by the time I paid for the tip itself, shipping and local sales tax it came to like $33-34. Still not what I'd consider insane, I'm a cheap bastard. Some of my setups if you break it down per component, mod, rta/rda, tip that tip cost me more than the mod or atomizer alone. But I love it, he did a nice job and it fits my vape style well, comfortable as hell. Aside from holding it every time I vape that's the part I notice. The part that makes contact with my mouth repeatedly. So while it may seem like a trivial component or plain because no moving parts and relatively small, it's important.

Kind of the same concept I've discovered with most anything. Pc's for example. People go to buy or build one, of course they want the most bang for their buck. Powerful processor, lots of ram, big hard drive, etc. So they often skimp and just get the cheapest shittiest keyboard or mouse possible to squeeze in under budget. Yet those are the two things most interacted with aside from viewing the monitor, if those things are terrible feeling/fitting the whole experience is going to suck. And obviously with a mod for a vaper, it's something they're going to use often. It's not like a funky camping cup you only use a few times a year, spending a little more for something interacted with that often I think pays off.

I did the same thing. I did eventually buy 3 of them with atties a few years ago in a package deal for $200 or so from someone who had quit. I didn't keep them more than a week before flipping them though.

Wow..3 REOs for 200 bucks...that is a deal...I went into genisis atomizers and pretty much have always stayed with them..though in the last couple of years there has been a couple of outstanding genisis atomizer that have been squonkable, and that has become my sweet spot.

The first vendor I ordered one of these District F5ve tips from didn't have the item even though their site showed it in stock. They said they're giving me a refund, which I am still waiting to see. Boo. Hiss.

So I went to Coil Werx and ordered this tip because it's pretty hard to find and I wanted it before they were gone for good. Got it today, lightning fast delivery after a Friday order, and they sent me TWO District F5ve tips for the price of one. And a set of their alien coils. There was a handwritten note in the box saying they had some markdowns coming on the site, and they didn't want me to feel left out.

So when someone actually conducts business in a way that says the customer is important to them, they deserve public praise. Thank you Coil Werx!

that's the DNA version of the Dovpo Odin, very nice. Those two Odins are the only non-stabwood mods I have in my daily rotation.

Wow!! I just bought a kodama Lustro from Mr. Meowgi in the HW thread. That will be my first real stab. My Paranormal with blue stab is just a door panel, but it’s still a nice one.

You should hang out more at Manny’s thread. It’s been dead for a few months.

well, i would rather have reapers, dragons and gargoyles , but vape makers don't care what i think.

edit, spelling

We could agree on dragons, maybe. But apparently they don't care what I think either, so.

This is an old story but a lot of new folks around so I'll tell it again....

When the Flave 22 Titanium was being first released they were only making and selling 1500 of them and it was a must have for me, despite costing about $150 US - they were about 120 euros. The problem was, they were being released at 5 p.m. in France which was like 3 a.m. for me where I lived at the time

I told Mr Juicy Lucy I had to have it and was getting up in the middle of the night to buy one - and once I got up at that ungodly hour I lost my mind and bought two of them

Mr Juicy Lucy gets up at about 6 a.m. - and knows me so well, he just knew there was no way in hell I would wake up at 3 a.m. no matter how much I wanted something. So he goes to the AllianceTech site and they still had a few, so, being the good husband he is, decides to surprise me and buys me not one but two of them....:giggle:

Didn't have the heart to admit I had bought two already....

yeah I think you are in the lead so far as this thread is concerned....the most expensive atty I ever bought was 170.00...but then I only bought ONE of them.
