I have a couple of OCD traits. In other ways I am the very anti-OCD, but the OCD traits that I do have are very much in-my-face. Getting unpleasant stuff on my hands is one of those traits.

If I pick up a mod and then find eliquid all over my hands, my first reaction is a fight-or-flight kind of OOOH that could very well send a mod directly to the nearest flat surface, whichever way is quickest, if I don't catch myself in time. It might go flying, or it might just drop. Then I am scrambling for Kleenex like a madwoman.

I despise a floggin leaky tank. Top-airflow RTAs were really great for the time while I was learning to build and wick, and possibly kept me going where I might otherwise have given up, if all my efforts in the beginning had been met with leaking and frustration.

I have a mix of types now, but you can bet your ass that if I find an RTA that leaks despite my best efforts, it doesn't stay in rotation long. I don't want that mess on my hands, and I don't want it down in my mods, frying boards and shit.

Yes, I am talking about you, you Reload clone POS. You are out of here TODAY. Juggerknot is coming. :vapemail:
I have one of those jugger clones. I love it, that is another real nice top airflow tank. I hope you love it!

My revised Kings Custard and Black Honey tobacco mix.

Sad Boy - - Custard Cookie. (I hope I can copy this! )

My Creme de Menthe Custard.

If you like french toast you could grab a bottle of the real flavors french toast. You can do a standalone mix at 2% that's all it takes with that one imo. Heck toss a few drops of custard in there too if you like, would only make it a little richer I bet. I do mine with the RF French toast and I add a little whipped cream, maple syrup and cinnamon.

What is the revision?

The tobacco flavor got really strong, so I added some TFA Whipped Cream and some Creme de Menthe. I’ve been mixing this for months now, but with LB Vanilla Cream Tobacco. I’ve been experimenting with using ECX Black Honey tobacco instead, and this time it was too much.
I may have to add some Vanilla Swirl, if it doesn’t come together.

That sounds great! Plus the maple syrup and cinnamon. It sounds like the French Dude French Toast juice which I love.
Thanks, Deb!

I just read a book by the author of Perry Mason, and it was set in NO. They were eating Praline Waffles every morning! <3<3

I'm trying to remember without looking it up. Earl Stanley Gardner?

I'm reading about the Low Country myself. James Lee Burke, Creole Belle. @AndriaD made me curious, so when I see his work come available on Kindle Unlimited, I grab it. This is only my second one, but it's great.

The food in the Deep South, especially near the coast, will make you too damn fat. Ask me, do I know? lol

It is Gardner, but it was written as A.A. Fair. About a PI named Bertha Cool. It’s very modern for being set in the late 40’s, imho.

The food sounds awesome in this. Grr, I gained weight after quitting smoking. But it’s like I let myself eat stuff I hadn’t been eating. I need to start eating fruits and veggies again.

Two years in Savannah for me resulted in 60 pounds. That's what prime rib and homemade ice cream at the Hilton buffet will get ya.

Love that juice! It's really good.Wish I saw your sale.:(
I know a few here have talked about Kernel Caramel and the Kernel Sweet and Salty- great that it was on sale so I could pick them up and try them.
I wish you saw that sale too- just keep checking E-Juice Steals, unbelievable prices on juice.

@Howard Hughes had a caramel popcorn recipe posted a little while back. Is that what the Kernel Caramel is?

My berry medley. But I swapped the BlackBerry cap for watermelon tfa.
Both ways are great. But the watermelon is a bit more refreshing on the finish.

In the Burke's, have you run into Clete Purcell yet? As much as I love Dave Robicheaux, that Clete just tickles me; "outrageous" doesn't even BEGIN to describe him! I posted to Mr Burke on his website, that I just loved Clete, because he seems to be the "bad boy" the little tiny bad boy in us all just longs to be. :D

I can imagine! I got sick this winter and lost weight, so I started kinda pigging out and put on a bunch. So now I’ve got to try to eat sensibly again.

Oh yes. Clete has been in both books I've read. There's a long descriptive passage in the current book about him, had me laughing out loud it was so outrageous. Love these books, wish Amazon would put more of them on KU.

Do you mix at all, Dub?
Oh yeah, about 90% of what I vape I mix. I buy 500ml's at a local shop of Strawberry menthol because I have tried every straw there is 10 different ways, and I cannot make it near as good as theirs. And I will buy some online when there is really good sales. I got like 1500ml's from Ejuice steals for like 40 bucks. Haven't went crazy over any of them yet, but haven't found any I won't vape, which is always a plus.

Yeah, Clete is a riot. All thru the whole series, I kept wondering why Dave put up with his shit all the time, and in some of them, Dave's wife really puts the hammer down about Dave hanging with Clete... but I think Dave sees Clete as a lost cause who desperately needs to be saved from himself... or maybe just as a cautionary tale to himself -- "there but for the grace of god, go I". I don't suppose I'll ever know for sure, but maybe Clete represents something to Burke that maybe he used to be, or wished he could be, or maybe just someone he knew. But he truly is the Dark Angel on Dave's left shoulder! But loyal to a fault, and if someone hurts Dave... well, they really don't want to know Clete.

Finally broke down this morning. Added .5 ml or 11 drops of peppermint to about half a Luxotic squonk bottle of unflavored juice. I'll add more unflavored later on but the peppermint will likely remain for a bit. :) It's helping to calm me.

Woke this morning with what I think are allergies/sinus issues. Took an anxiety medicine though and have realized I'm feeling inflammation from cortisol, ergo, a lack of calm for whatever reason. That inflammation triggers histamines which then masquerade as allergy/sinus trouble. At least so the case is for me.

This feeling of not being calm seems very strange to me. I feel calm, or at least think I do. Not sure what the inner mind is detecting, or the body. Oh well, suppose it knows best.

ETA Update Tue 10 Mar 2020 05:30:24 PM EDT:

Slight ha ha today regarding vaping peppermint. I over squonked the Wasp. It didn't overflow but that first draw or two after the squonk, I sure knew I had a mouth of juice. So, I set with cap off firing open. My wife in the car with me swore she tasted peppermint. Me nearly hawking up me innards asks "you think?"

We had just come from our local Chinese place. She doesn't miss a beat, "you squonk too much, you now home go! No more squonk you have!"

I can nay ever win. *smh*

The juice has settled back into the bottle leaving only the adequate juice now for sutured wick. It actually makes vapor not juice. :)

If you want a really nice top air flow RTA see if you can get your hands on a Voopoo Rimfire. That is a gem and it was never talked about much. I love that tank. Great flavor and so easy to build on due to the postless deck.

Oh and I am vaping on SC Plus V2 on the Ijoy Avenger with some Marzipan Cake this morning

Great to hear from you!!! I'll do that, I really like the Voopoo mods that I have.

Some Top Air flow RTAs are not as flavorful as bottom air flow tanks- the trade off is the non leaking factor. Some people would rather sacrifice some flavor over leaking and condensation that can happen with some bottom air flow tanks.
Plus some of the juices taste better on lower wattages and others shine on higher wattages-
trial and error to find the sweet spot.

Thanks for that! I think I prefer the no leaking part if I had to choose, don't want to get juice all over my work truck or clothes as I have to deal with people all day. The sub ohm coil hit the point where I need to replace it, made it to about 700 hits. It tasted great up to about the 500 mark and went down from there. Kinda comparable to the wicks on my rta's. I agree the juice plays a big factor here.

And you get from Vash too, don’t you? His tobaccos are good. I found a few juices that I can’t copy like French Dude or Jackman. But the rest of them, I kinda like my mixes better. Especially after getting some 500mls of 3mg nic. So easy to mix with those. No figuring out how much nic to add.

I'm giving a second to the Voopoo Rimfire, but they are hard to find at a reasonable price. If you find a place that has them for under $35, some of us would appreciate a heads up. @5150sick has one also and, last I heard him say, he likes it a lot.

I've kicked myself a hundred times that I didn't grab one of the red ones. Mine is stainless.

Yeah, it really flew under the radar for nearly its entire lifespan. I had never seen one advertised until I saw them on clearance for about $10 somewhere (VapeNW, maybe?). A VERY solid RTA with great flavor. It's a hoss, though, so you'll need to put it on a larger mod. Can take a big build on that deck, too, if you build it as a single.

I'm vaping Candy Cane Cheesecake this morning.

The OG is a solid recipe. I just sub different versions of the same flavor....like a different Bavarian Cream, cookie/biscuit, etc.....it’s worked no matter what I do as long as I stay within the parameters of the recipe. V251. Lol!

And that recipe looks pretty damn good!
