I just want to say that our health care workers are as much or more heroes than any military guy.
And we cannot even provide them with protective gear and such.
My hats off to you and an eternal thank you for your and any family members service in the health care field on the front lines.

many more in the US and around the world are serving by helping to feed the isolated and elderly and such and in so many ways.
People actually sewing gowns and masks for HC workers and on.
We really need to grow that army too. and it is all volunteer too.

after all this is over we need to continue to show our respect and gratitude for their selfless sacrifice. Maybe a National HC worker holiday? Discounts like veterans in stores?

Quercetin isn’t toxic at all. It comes from plants, it’s a flavonoid.

I had one side affect when I tried taking it....got a headache, the same with my mom, that was five yrs ago when we both tried it. But now, she can take all she wants :bliss:

Maybe it was the brand you were using? It’s helped with my sinus headaches, but I was only taking one at a time, instead of two like they recommend. So maybe try just one and see what happens.

The stuff he drank - Chloroquine Phosphate - used in salt water aquariums from my understanding as an amoebacide. It's somewhat similar in name only, with the addition of phosphoric acid as an added compound.

Probably thought to himself "if I drink this, I'll be immune to the virus"... No. It doesn't work that way.

You don't take antibiotics if you don't have a bacterial infection, it does no good, and actually is dangerous for the fact that should the bacteria be introduced post-medication, it can become resistant to the antibiotic.

I only mentioned chloroquine and quercetin since one article mentioned they have similar effects. Both are being studied now, but quercetin being a plant polyphenol can’t be patented.

if we back off now the curve will grow much higher than it would have if we continued the containment methods. And many states have just now enacted containment methods with many not having done so yet. disgusting.

Plus the Trump does not control the containment efforts the individual states do and Trump cannot order them to stop their efforts. The states most likely to end or not start containment efforts are the ones who support trump the most. Ohh well if they do then fewer Trump supporters come election time.

Our president is not the most stable president ever and I think we are seeing the beginning of his meltdown. He is suffering from Attention deficit disorder from not having adoring fans cheer him on at campaign rallies.

i didnt say ss was govt assistance,, i noted them separate because they are part of a group of people not likely to have other income to appear on income tax data in order to qualify for the $1200

to tell you the truth,, im not even sure its official. if it is,, there will be another round in a month or so.

education,, a person can go to a 6-8 week course on real estate agent,, collect a portion of the 6% sales price and never incur any risk to a homebuyer paying way too much for their home. his job is to be a great salesman to the person with far more education,, get him to pay up.

i never understood why people got away from the standard metrix,, whatever you pay for an education,, you need a job that pays 2x that the first year.. otherwise you went to adult daycare. same metric works on housing,, you take your annual income x2 and that is the top of the market for you.. if you are married you only calculate the person making the most,, dont count the 2nd earners income.

Debt free here for over 15 years. Not even a car payment. Grew up poor as well. Middle labor calss father died when I was 16, large family went to work at 16 and worked ever since. Put myself thru tech school and worked up the ladder and kept continuing education going. Bought my own first car, etc.

Y'all are going to think I am lying, or crazy, but I swear I just had the strangest thing happen.

I made a pot of chicken soup for my dinner. Crumbled up some saltines in a Corelle bowl and then put soup in. Brought the bowl into the living room and sat here in my chair to eat my soup.

Finished with the soup, put my spoon in the bowl, sat it on my knee and looked back at this laptop, and the bowl exploded.

Exploded. I swear to you, I did not touch it, it wasn't hot, it wasn't leaning against anything, it did not fall. It just fucking blew up. Shards of glass went flying in every direction. Hubbs came in right quick and started gathering up the ragged pieces of glass and took them to the trash. Now I realize that I have got tiny, almost invisible, glass particles and slivers all over me.

So the nightgown goes directly into the washer and I go into the shower and I'll be back in a bit. But omg have you ever seen or heard of such a thing?

I've had other strange experiences that turned out to mean something. I kid you not. Is there something or someone that you are worried about or in very poor health? Have you been thinking about something that could warrant such a reaction? Underlying anger? Or in my last case, something I wasn't thinking about but felt a cool, deep chill come over my chest from my head. 3 minutes later the phone rang and my grandmother had passed away. We were close but distant since she was still in NY. But I've had objects do a few things, too. That bowl means something, Nada.

1. The approaching May 12 deeming enforcement date.
2. The combination of that with the extended CNY and virus complications from China. This combined with suppliers letting their stocks dwindle so as not to get caught with a lot of stock they cannot sell.
3. The shutting of many/most vape shops in the US due to actions trying to stop the spread of the virus.
4. And not to forget the bad publicity of the vaping vitamin e thing.

Sad but I see no real way around it happening.

There will not be a whole lot left for the FDA to enforce after May 12.
