Flavor additives

I have been using Capela flavorings for my DIY juice for years with no problem. I recently decided to make a batch using River Supply flavorings. Every...single... Bottle I made burned and tickled my nose followed by dizziness and temporary lethargy (0mg nic just to note). I checked the flavor descriptions and noticed they have quite a few more added ingedients than most flavor companies. If anyone here has had experience with RiverSupplyCo and or knows what ingredient might be doing this please let me know! It is not PG, VG or nic obviously. I tried to contact them and they were about as helpful as toting water in a wicker basket.

Interesting.

I’ve never had a reaction like that to any flavorings. I’m gonna go with @SteveS45 on this one. Do they all have ethanol as an additive? Unless there’s another ingredient that affects you? But I’d go with the ethanol first.

Let us know! I’m very curious......

Any of the flavorings I use that have Alcohol it is just nasty to me so I heat them for a little while and let them breath for a bit and shake~! The heat at less that 150°F will never harm Nicotine. I do it because I don't have patience. But some flavors require time like Custards or some Creams. Remember now this is just my opinion from personal experience and YRMV.

I usually stir and shake my batches then let them steep in cabinet for about 2 weeks. I have never tried the breathing method before, so I will se if it helps with my nose reaction if the ethanol is the problem.

All of my flavorings with Alcohol need to breath no mater how long I leave them to Infuse. Again this is just my personal experience I also am not found of PG but lately it is increasing.

It appears that you are reacting to one of the additional ingredients in flavourings. Unfortunately, contacting the company may be ineffective. You could try Vape4Change for different flavour options.
