batteries that discharge at different rates

i have a married pair of samsung 20s batteries that discharge in the vaporesso luxe s mod at different rates, not much different, but noticeable. these batteries are fairly new by the way. my questions are
A. is this safe to use these batteries?
B. do i need to discard them

i am unsure if i rotated the batteries when put into the mod, i dont have them numbered

any help is appreciated

Divorce them and use them as singles, marry up another "new" set. You've noticed so I'd not keep pushing them as a married set. That way you don't risk any negatives. But you can still use them individually. That lets you be more conscious and cautious of which ever one is discharging quicker and still use the batteries. Least this is what I would likely do. Others might suggest something else.

You may need concrete to make shoes for one of the batteries. :)

That will work too.

Not familiar with the vaporesso luxe s, but hear that some mods draw off of only one cell for their electronics.
Have you tried seeing if the increased drain is a position thing or sticks with the battery?
If it sticks with the battery then may be time for another married pair.
However if the difference in discharge is small and you do not vape a high wattage it should be fine to continue to use the slightly mismatched pair until the discharge difference becomes more pronounced.

here are the specs of my setup.
vaporesso luxe s mod
uwell valyrian 2 tank with triple meshed coils at 95 watts [.16 ohms]
3.6 volts
temperature 350 f
the coils are rated for 90-100 watts

What I'm getting at is that the 20S is a great battery, but not the best for regulated setups really. Low capacity and high amperage. You may want to just invest in some VTC5As or P26As. Then you'll know you have a brand new married pair too.

I'm not the resident expert on anything here, but I'm betting the problem is the batteries, or one of the batteries anyway. The Vaporesso Omni board is known to be a pretty decent board. There could be other issues, but those are a lot less likely

OR

Here's a great question. How unbalanced are we talking here? A little bit isn't even a big deal. If one is at 3.4 volts and the other is at 3.5 for instance, that's nothing really and they may be closer than that even appears. One might be just about to report 3.4 and the other may have reached that point 10 seconds earlier.

If it's like half a volt or something that's a different story.

the only way i know to answer this question is the visual on the mod, there is approximately 1/4 difference showing up on the mod battery level. one battery shows up full the other is 3/4 full. i hope that makes sense

Does the other one ever show up full and if so, how much later? Mooch just talked about this not that long ago. Graduated bar indicators by themselves are not very precise. You don't have a charger that tells you the voltage of the batteries? Or a multimeter or maybe know somebody who has either?

This may not actually be a problem worth worrying about, but I still think different batteries would be better for how you're using them. Not that 20S won't work or will be dangerous.

i wouldn't throw em away just yet.

The Nitecore UMS 4 has full status display. It's probably not as accurate as a multimeter, but will show you what the voltage of each battery is. WAY more accurate than the battery bars on the mod.

I had only intended the one set but agree w/ @5150sick getting four new batteries would work. Apologies on belated response. Life, you know. :)
