Yesterday, I was out cutting off dead limbs and weed wacking. Everything was going smoothly while my brother was mowing the lawn.
I went to water flowers on the front porch, standing there not paying attention to bro mowing, all the sudden I get hit by a rock by the riding mower. It barely missed my left eye, hit my temple right by the end of the eyebrow. Eye is black and lump where the rock hit. I'm pretty sure I had a slight concussion...I couldn't walk straight, dizzy, and wanted to sleep. Put ice on it for the rest of the day and night, made sure I stayed awake until I went to bed. The swelling was controlled, but the black eye remains. I feel ok this morning

Great except my feet are killing me and I am sort of crippled because of it. Still was a good day although I spent the afternoon with my feet up. Then I ripped a piece if flesh out of my heal. Still I BBQ'ed some sausages for dinner though~!

Lucky that rock missed your eye and you are ok. I hate being around mowers or brushcutters unless im the one using them.
We have them but I have never noticed them on the shelves where we shop.
Apparently the supermarket we dont like, as the checkout people are so rude, has them but I dont like going there.
Sorry, your feet are hurting and you ripped your flesh... OUCH. I hope they feel better tomorrow. If, you have any Epson Salt, soak your feet in some. But, glad you had a good and hope you had a good evening.

I would have never thought (my bad for thinking that way) a rock would've hit me up on the porch. You would understand, if you knew more about me. I'm accident prone, but I have only broken two fingers and no other body parts

You get to the checkout and say hi to them, no response and often whilst serving you and putting the items through are looking at and talking to someone else, workmate, friend in the line behind you. Now you pay, nothing response wise then you get a fake "have a nice day" without even getting looked at as you pick up your stuff.
Once I had had enough and said "you know what, I dont want this stuff now" and walked off leaving it there on the checkout counter.
So when I first got up and was walking around I was limping a little bit but feeling slightly better now. Heal hurts like MoFo but I did tear a chunk of flesh out of it. Caught it on a brick or something walking around in bare feet. Shit happens especially when you had a few glasses of wine~!
Take care of that. Don't let it get infected.

Honest;y I have no idea what or how I did it. I clipped my heal on a brick and took about a 3/8 of an inch piece of skin out. Hurt a bit this morning but just kept walking on it. Doesn't hurt to touch it but I little tender when I step on it. I'll live~!

I make it a point to bring it to a managers attention just like when I get great service~! That they never get the credit for IMO.
I have heal spurs on both feet and they hurt like hell. I was at point, oh about 8/10 yrs ago, where I using a wheelchair and a cane, it was awful painful to walk. I finally found shoes that don't let them hurt. MBT, they are those rocker shoes...love them...they saved my feet

No, most I did was put a tiny bandaid on so I didn't leave blood marks all over. Started the day with sneakers and slippers but walked around the rest of the day in bare feet.

Feeling OK now, but still a little tender because it was a deep wound. I heal fast and didn't even put any antibiotic ointment or even some alcohol on it. Just drinking the alcohol~! Heh heh
