So I went out and bought a Petit Gros 18350 mod and hobo rda for the convienece of carrying it around with me. Finally got some time this morning to get this thing going and I am having some trouble with making it work for me. Im powering it with Efest 18350 protected 900mAh batteries. After doing some research I figure I can build a coil with no less than .9ohm or these batteries won't fire. Does anyone have any suggestions on what coil would perform best or any insight to where I may be off with this. The set up I have now works but nowhere near where I would like it to be. I have 28gauge kanthal 10 wrap micro coils. Thanks any help is appreciated!!

1.0 and above.. make sure the contacts are snug not over tight.
18350 is going to get you nothing really in dripping mode. low mah and lower amps.

1. Get rid of the protected Li-ion battery and replace it with a good IMR... like a "New" version AW for example, that has a MCCD of 12 amps.

Once you have that, you can fire down to 0.4~0.6Ω (depending on your personal margin of safety %... or have faith in momentary discharge values) reliably.

Might want to click on all my sigline hyperlinks... while your on a roll. ;)

Ordered it from codevape. It is a clone, its the second clone I have gotten from them. They work good but eventually will ditch it for the real deal if I like it.

Folks should understand that a protected battery will always deliver less. For both performance (voltage sag under load) and mAh/runtimes.

These are the same Panasonic cells, the blue trace is the protected version..

Thanks. I had no idea at the time figured it was a safer option. But its come down to still just doing the math and buying a better battery. Bought a handful of AW IMR 18350's 3.7v 800mAh 12a max continuous dschrg. From www.rtdvapor.com get all my batteries from them very reliable and great to do business with.
