Kinda neat, except for the plastic tank this thing looks interesting.

The listing on MVS says plastic, but the Smok site says it's glass. I think it is glass since there's an o-ring at the top and bottom like on the pyrex RSST.

Hmmm.....Ilike the idea of going back to a center type, but the connection point looks weird and unwieldy.

I think you'd have to wrap the coil on the ss mesh first and then insert it and connect it up. Not a whole lotta space between the positive post and the wick in that photo.

I wonder how it would perform with SS cable and a wrap of ss mesh at the top..
 
I just got this and it's glass not plastic. Very well made, other then the pos post. I have see pics of a core with a screw. does anyone know anything about this core?

I've not seen the version with the screw -- seems that would make it easier to have a solid connection. Where did you find the pic?

Very much looking forward to your impressions on what it's like to build, and how well it performs.
