BREAKING: THE REAL 100 WATT BOARD EMERGES

Our original post covering this board pointed out that the display was photoshopped.
We still standbye that claim - China likes to put out "mock ups" before the real item is made.

Now we have a real board by Yihiecigar. Dubbed the SX350 V3 - 100watt - This company seems the be ahead of every chip maker in terms of wattage - even Evolv. While the sole American chip maker is still stuck at 30 watts - China has blown past with 35, 50, and now 100 watts. This may also put a big dent in the Raptor chip market due to its availability and display - which the raptor is lacking in both departments.

SHould work fine in a tube mod just doa 26650 diameter tube with a 18650 battery or a Zen style setup.

They could get it's size down if they made a foldable board as used on the rear of notebook monitors and had a separate display

From the video it seems it can register higher than just the 100w which is nice. Hope to see what they place it in and if it will be dual 18650 powered.

The company manufacturing the chip don't make any devices they just manufacture the chips in China and sell them to Smok, Sigelli, Innokin , and Power4you etc.

So once the chip is released to those guys I am sure you will see them put it into everything from possibly a MVP all the way to a SVD or VTR as an upgraded version.

I just hope they do like the 350 chip which was able to be upgraded from 30w, 35w and now 50w.

I hope this one can be upgraded from 100w, 120w, 150w or something

That also surprised me in the video seeing it go past 100w

As I understand there is no plans to sell this chip to the DIY crowd at this time. This chip will just be sold to the large mod makers that will purchase this chip in large amounts. This chip has no USB, so it will not be upgradable.
The SX350 chip, which is upgradable to 50 watts, is their offering for the DIY crowd.

It was a 350 chip in the vid. Say's SX350 at boot and a different form factor as well as the tilt adjustment. Perhaps the 350 as well as the 330 will go 100w.
Specs on the 330 say no flash upgrading.

That is correct I have talked to them they won't sell just a few of them to people but they are willing to sell if the order is large enough.

all it takes is someone buying 1000 of them and putting them on ebay.. if it is manufactured it will be sold to anyone willing to pay the right price.

Sorry to dis agree. GE makes the chip. They will sell it too anyone with the money to buy it. 350 is old news. They have a 400 now. Not made for vaping, but avoidable.400 watts is a little bit scary. Even for 100% VG. Trino second coil heat. Juice cooker for sure. It's all fun. I'm sorry, mouser, Digikey others can get it. 75 watts is good for me to vape. Might make more because I can. 1 tenth of a second button time? Big ass burst of juice. A dry hit would most likely kill the average person.

Umm, 10W is a fairly large amount to start off with...it's as high as I go usually.

I know Li-Ion is getting stronger and LiPo's are fairly safe *if* used correctly, but up in that range I'd use this:

Where is the heatsinking on that thing? My old Technics stereo has 4x100W in it and the heatsinks are about the size of a Buick.

That's almost 9 volts to a .8 ohm coil. Good lawd. I think a little bit of my insides just melted away thinking about that.

Agree, which is why I am more interested in the SX350, which is in the same form factor as the SX200, which will work in a tube which I prefer over a box. (Square tube would be ideal) The S350 goes 5W-50W , it will also bypass and function like a mechanical MOD. It includes on the board options for two buttons, which would be nice to skip the menus, if it works that way. Just toggle up and down in whatever mode you are in.

I know I never need lower than 5W, and 7W is a bit too high, at times, especially mini protanks, where I don't want to have to be saddled to it.
