My 510 connector came out of my IPV3 box.... I need an experts advise on how I can reconnect it back to my box , Please! I tried using a soldering iron but I can not get the connector hot enough to get the solder to melt to the connector and even if I did I do not know if I could get it pressed in before I could get it pressed in place.
Thank you, to whom ever assist me in getting my Mod back up and running safely!

If you're within six months, and it's not do to misuse, why not send it to Asmodus. They don't cover threading, but that's not your issue. If you've soldered already, though, that might void the Warranty. Otherwise, good luck.

Mind telling how old it is, and how it happened?

Well I did drop it at some point but it didn't happen then. I have had it since before Xmas. I noticed it when I was screwing my tank in and out. but here is a pic. Hmm well every time I try to up load this pic it says file is too big.. I tried compressed file and I get same error... Zipping will not make the file small enough

What is even cooler is that Baynesville Electronics has it and it is not too far from where I live in Baltimore! Wow I am so relieved that I am able to get this thing up and going. I have had the worst luck with Mods.. I just received a Cloupor Mini a week and half ago and after 5 days it fried on me

Cloupor's are poor quality. I have a T6 that lasted me a couple months then fried the circuit board. I have a Sigelei 100W and a 50 watt iStick, both a solidly built. I'd look at getting an iStick 30 or 50 watt model. They are worth the money.

I have seen a couple other ipv's that have had this issue. I have seen the fix get down three ways. 1, Send it off under warranty. 2. Fixed with jb weld or a epoxy like was mentioned above. 3. tap the whole and install fd or varitube 510.

I'd try and install a fatdaddyvapes or varitube 510 like Ficticious said. I won't buy a box unless it can be fitted with one. Best 510 connector design I've seen for boxes.

I don't think the housing is thick enough to thread a fdv or varitube into it. You would have to use the nut that comes with it to lock it down. It would be better than stock if one of those connectors will fit.

Damn. If you figure out how to install a Fat Daddy that would be awesome. I hope you get this all resolved. I don't sense that my iPV3 is fragile, however, the 510 is probably the weak spot, regarding how it's installed. I don't pull the caps off of my RDA's on it.

There are both of those methods used for fixes on the last page in this thread at ecf http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...lace-discuss-concerns-performance-ipv3-7.html Might be the last two pages as I view threads at 30 posts per page so my stuff can be off.

Thanks for the link... I hope I never need to attempt it, but I'm still interested. The threading and contact pin are both excellent on mine, I just could see an issue if I were constantly pulling up on it. Thankfully I have a ton of other mechs, etc... so I just pop my RDA's on them when I disassemble to build or re wick.

No it will not fit tightly in there at all...
I did a little more searching for Epoxy's and I found this:
https://www.atomadhesives.com/Elect...Filled-Electrically-Conductive-Epoxy-Adhesive
and it is actually on Ebay for $15.00 I am going to order it but I am still checking out fatdaddyvapes or varitube 510 connectors because I too would like to have a much better rig then I started with, Now as far as performance I am very pleased but I am not crazy about the form factor as in being so square and bulky. I did just receive my IStick 30W today and am loving it! So I am not in a great rush to fix it with the Epoxy but I do want to have a package of it for future emergencies.. And I want to Thank Everyone for all of their help in this matter! I will post my repair results when I get it done.
