Vaping at a Bar last night

Went to BeMo's bar last night in Bay City Michigan to watch an excellent Blues Band. Was pleasantly surprised to see several people other than myself vaping. Was vapin my billow tank and was getting a few stares. Not the evil look stares, but more of "I wish I could smoke my cigarette indoors" type stare. It was 14 degrees F outside... lol

The bar owner and employees were extremely nice and welcoming. Was the first time I felt truly comfortable vaping indoors in a public place. Bonus, listening to some kick ass live blues music !

We had the fire dept show up at last month's vape meet.....there were about 300 of us. They walked in...shook their heads.....then left.

When I read the title, "Vaping at a bar last night" I thought it might have been a joke: I was vaping at a bar last night when in walked a Turtle, a Rabbi, and the Pope....

I've tried vaping at bars around my area (hudson valley new york). It just doesn't go over well. I feel eyes burning holes through me every time I'm indoors and I usually just wind up taking the vape outside. Then there is the awkward stand. People smoking cigs on one part of the side walk while my ass stands over in another corner by myself.... The struggle is real. lol

I vape at most restaurants and bars.. not clouding the place up.. but nothing wrong with a little stealth action i mean its winter for god sake

i'm not going outside to freeze with the smokers

only encounter I've had is a bar owner came up to me and said 'hey man is that just vapor?' and I said 'yup is that cool? sorry if I was overstepping'
and he replied 'nah its totally cool - just making sure it wasn't weed, and i can tell by the smell its something vanilla so all good'

I used to frequent this bar a lot because of this interaction.. I since moved almost 2 hours away so of course a vape-friendly place is nowhere near me now

I'm in Southeast Michigan and the bars here are welcoming of it too because of how bad the smoking ban has ruined their business.

Only once was I told I couldn't vape in an establishment which was at a concert theater in Ferndale called the Magic Bag. While I was really disappointed about it, I do understand why they wouldn't let me. With the kinds of concerts they have there, I'm sure they have a problem with people vaping pot.
