Want to buy a second vape but too newbish to know which one!

Hi everyone!

I recently started vaping with a device I purchased at a local store. I got something along these lines here: http://www.joyetech.com/product/eGoT.php

It was cheap and just to see if I'd even use it regularly. I do. The sad thing is, I sat it down in bed and the next thing I know, the battery is popping apart. I think one of my dogs hopped on it and it just snapped like it was made of plastic. Not cool. I mean, it still works but it's crooked and that drives me nuts. And let's face it, it's probably only a matter of time before it goes the way of the dodo now and so I figure since I enjoy it, it's okay to get something a little nicer this time.

I've been researching what to buy next but I'm really overwhelmed by all the information. My price limit is about $100 give or take. I prefer something a bit smaller so it's easy to carry around in my pocket. Maybe multifunctional although I don't know if that's really a requirement. Something a bit sturdier than what I have now... I've tried reading reviews but there are horror stories and that freaks me out so I wanted some advice.

Thanks to anyone who has bothered to read all this!

2 great choices really...the Innokin MVP or the E leaf I stick...Both 20 watts of power..both sturdy...The mvp has more power however with 2600mah and the i stick is 2200mah...both affordable and popular devices with proven reliability...the mvp and e leaf you can get in the low 30 dollar range...I prefer the mvp personally as i think its built a little better and like the added battery life.

Not sure what you want tank wise but the Aspire nautilus and nautilus mini are quite popular as are the kanger protank and protank 2's with the nautilus better, flavor wise.

If your wanna be more serious about equipment you can get somethiNg like the Sigelie mini 30 watt for just under 40 dollars at 101 vapes and maybe a kanger subtank nano or some RTA tanks such as the kayfun or the Taifun models...A little experience is needed however with these tanks, as you need to build the coils yourself but the kanger has replaceable coils you just screw in.

The best set up of the bunch is probably the sigelie 30w and the nano tank for ease of use and good quality with no tank fuss and muss...Looking at about 65 to 70 bucks for the set up after some shipping maybe.

Hope some of this helps

No bothered
The hardest part about vaping is there are so many choices today
I like my Nautilus mini with the istick.
One thing for sure, that we all will agree on is "Have a back up"

If you go for the Istick, get the 30 watt version - not the 20 watt. The 20 watt had some issues with the 510 connector. (I have one, and it's fine, but I don't use it much).

This may be a silly question but how do you know what fits with what? Like if you buy X battery, how do you know it goes with Y tank? Do they generally just fit together?

most have 510 threads or e-go thread, and some have both, and they make adapter to fit what they don't have

This, but I'll also add that you should make sure the mod you have will fire at the ohm's of the tank. For instance a istick 20 watt won't fire a subtank like the Atlantis.

Its not uncommon for one type of tank to not fit a device as good is it may do another device.. Despite a common 510 connection there are some differences but in general will host most any tank...fit is something that goes with quality of the connector used..Ehhhh you just roll with it sometimes...Not everything fits perfect.

Thanks guys, I am so excited I can hardly wait and I feel that I understand them a bit better now! I'm going to get the iStick and the Nautilus Mini!

Its a great step up...much better tank and device...youll see the difference immediately with the new set up.

I've got 2 of the 20 watt and they work flawlessly....all day...everyday. Topped off with the nautilus mini. Very happy with this setup. :)

Sorry to high jack the thread but I can't figure out how to start a new one. I'm also looking into the eleaf I stick, my question is should I get the 30 or 50? I don't plan on doing any dripping, just running an Atlantis tank around .5 ohms.

Get the 50 watt....the 30w is enough to fire .5 ohm but you are using the device to its max potential in a sense...The 50w will give you room to grow at subohm levels.

Always better to buy more than youll figure you will need.

$65.90 for a istick 30w with a kanger sub tank nano

this is a set up I use on a nearly daily basis

with the 1.2ohm coil, decent battery life and juice usage.

VERY HAPPY WITH IT

Crap regulation, crap connector and 20 watts doesn't go as far as you might think.
I have 2 and like them just fine no issues also have 2 30w and a 50w its all about who is using it and what they like all of our taste very

Like whatever you want. That doesn't change the fact that the pin is fixed and the regulation is far from accurate. Many like the 20 watt'er, but the new versions have improvements. I like better quality and more power options. Being cheaper is the only advantage the old one has over the new ones.
