HORIZON TECH ARCTIC TANK
$36.99
The Horizon Arctic is a new tank by a company that wants to put the sub-ohm tank game to rest. This tank has massive holes in the manufactured coils to wick juice like no other sub-ohm tank currently on the market. Horizon Tech’s sub-ohm coils come in two different varieties: 0.2 ohm & 0.5 ohm resistance. This tank is rated up to 100 watts. Imported.

thanks for posting that, reddhott. I did see an earlier posting about this tank. Looks nice but I'm only doing rebuildables now. I started a new thread called Sgt. Pepper's Magical Mystery Tour.;) It's a place to chat and talk Beatles. I'm looking for some Redd Hott girls to visit my new thread and I think you would be the perfect candidate.:D

someone was talking about this tank the other day. They said they bought it at a gas station/vape store in Pa for $20 and 5 coils for 10

i havent heard of that. i looked and didnt see any for less than 30. and that was ebay. amd i couldnt find any coils that cheap anywhere. hmmm maybe he should have bought more than 1 if he got them at that price;)

My buddy just bought this tank. The way the coils wick is really nice but as for the supposed killer airflow none of us could honestly tell the difference between it and my atlantis. 5 of us tried all said the same thing. It is a nice tank though

I've had the Artic for a week now and it's dynamite.
Now I'm hearing that Freemax has a tank out with dual verticals rated to up to 100w called the "Starre"
This sub ohm tank war is getting crazy and I love it! :D

I've held off on one of these new sub ohm tanks, but I want one, increasingly there are more to choose from. Its definitely a nice way for lazy builders, or vapers who don't want to build to get the experience. My one concern is in these being sold to uninformed, or misinformed individuals who don't have the proper gear or knowledge to mess around at .5 ohms and lower. It's easy to think, "pre built head! it's safe" but some understanding of ohms law and causes for shorts etc... Is needed if you're gonna use these.

Unfortunately, I've run into two that fall into the misinformed category. One, a vape shop sold him am Atlantis for his MVP, and when he came back since it wouldn't fire, big surprise, they sold or gave him a nipple top no name blue ICR for a mech. I gave him a battery that I don't use anymore, but is still good, and told him where to go either locally or online. He still didn't get how dangerous it was, and a store set him up to blow off his face. Another guy had an iPV Mini2 and a Subtank mini, though I'm not sure about the batteries he was using. He was less worrisome to me, but he has no concept of what these numbers mean. He was just replacing his ego twist.

A basic understanding of electricity and ohms law is needed ideally for all vapers, but definitely if you're gonna sub ohm. It's not hard to find the info you need, nor does it take much time to get a rudimentary knowledge of it all that will suffice.

was thinking the same thing.. they are taking the innokin route for wick prices it seems lol..

I'm happy enough with my subtanks - will wait for the price to come down a great deal before I scoop one up
