Just wondering... Can u build dual parallels on a series box
Slightly off the subject, but something I'd like you to seriously think about, Duane.
Unlike a parallel circuit box mod, batteries in series do not increase the
'maximum continuous current discharge' (MCCD) amp rating, only voltage, so... I suggest that you
read this before you do anything, and consider well
why you want a series mod.
To your question...
The net resistance doesn't really care how your batteries are wired. From a safety perspective, the only concern is that your batteries have a net MCCD
equal to or (preferably) greater than the continuous current discharge necessary to support that net resistance.
Volts divided by (net) resistance equals required minimum amperage... or V ÷ Ω = C.
Volts squared, divided by (net) resistance equals required minimum wattage... or V² ÷ Ω = P.
