Not a bad start for 10 bucks for that style of kit...you may want to get another battery as you will find you need a back up when the first battery needs to be charged.

Youll move up with better things as you learn more.

Exactly. It takes a minimum of 4 hours to charge most eGos and that's a long time when you're first trying to quit. They've got quite a few on eBay under $10. I do strongly advise ditching the ce4, they suck. For a beginner, these are ideal and the flavor is amazing. Easy cleanup and maintenence.....

If you get into the high tech mods and stuff right off the bat, you're gonna get frustrated and quit or hurt yourself. Plenty of folks on here who can help you graduate to the big stuff later. ;)

My first was a MVP2 they are a great beginner unit. They will go all day on a charge unless you are a very heavy vaper, also they are dependable, vw/vv, and last for years. A very good beginners unit that's safe and simple to use.

Thats what i started with only i had protank 2 and then i moved up to a variable voltage mood and now I use an Magneto mech mod with a patriot v2

No such thing as a bad start if you are trying to give up smoking! My first kit was a couple of protank 2 tanks with cheap but still usable batteries. Two tanks give you flexibility in flavors and two batteries mean you always have one charged. Good Luck!!

No mistake but as others have said, you'll probably want two. Nothing worse then a dead battery or dead coil when you first start. I needed backup and backup for my backup when I first switched to vaping.

It's a common starter device. No battery life in em though, my first EVOD went dead pretty fast. Use it for a few weeks and get used to vaping, and the juice.

The major part is you started! :)
I started with Mystic and Blu and proceeded to fail miserably until I got an ego like yours. Matter of fact I still have it on my desk with a Kanger T2 filled with juice for a switch from my iStick with a nauti mini.
In other words like the others have said....there is nothing wrong with the way you started.

My first load out was an eGo battery with a Kanger Protank 3 on top of it. It's not a bad clearo, but as others will tell you, the draw is tight as hell and the coils like to flood.

Regardless set ups like this are the starter kits for a reason. If nothing else you'll learn what you're looking for and know if this is going to work for you.

Nothing wrong with starting that way! I started with the Joy Flavor Space Pen that I got for my birthday, and I haven't put it down. Very easy to use, and I love being able to switch flavors whenever I want. I think this pen really adds to the juice flavor. Thick, milky clouds every time.

Nope, and I'll be honest with you. A Smok Tech micro core RDC on a vv eGo puts off some pretty decent vapor and the taste is awesome.

Right I started off with a mvp and a protank as my first mod past ego batteries.
Now you can get a istick 50w and subtank mini for what I payed for that. hell the ego one isn't a bad buy

I don't Think Joyflavor is doing those kits and starter Ecigs anymore. I saw them at ECC this year and they are doing juice and mods. But who knows, maybe if you go to their website and email them they may have some left over. Yeah I use to like the CoolCool Menthol. http://www.joyflavor.com

For what it's worth, I tried quitting using a similar setup and failed miserably. I went from 2-3 packs of full flavor to 0 in two days using a Sigeli 75w mod and an Aspire Triton. The initial cost kinda stinks, but still cheaper than a carton of smokes around here (packs are $12-13 here). As of today, I've not had an analog smoke in 2 weeks.
