Very nice collection. I hope you're not the type who doesn't like sharing knowledge, because I like your work.
The two boxes that don't have any finish on them are what? What is the post number of those boxes also?

Just an idea I had for a DNA30 (actual evolv) chip I had and $2.60 worth of scrap plexiglass.
I present Crapbox ver 2

Size comparison next to a Fasttech clone

Do you like the homemade battery connectors?
Might look like crap but vapes like a champ, is lightweight, sliding back panel for battery access, and has a spring loaded 510.

Something I was working on today (WIP DIY DNA 30 Maple box mod).
Finish is drying currently.

Sometimes it's nice to have a mill, and a lathe in the shop :)

MOAR POWER!!!!! RRR RRR RRR this could concievably start a car...lol its name...The Behemoth.

Included is a pic of a local cloudchaser falling in LOOOVE...

BTW Nicoroshi Nothing at all wrong w a Plexi mod...I would have gone a little farther with the batt connectors...but then again noone has ever accused me of not going far enough...are they just solid core wire or the core from some coax cable...how are they holding up BTW.... You know me...always interested in knowing the details of a hack... ;)

Solid core of copper wire bent into a circle with a piece running across the center that has a bend in the center to catch the battery terminal (also has some spring to it that way for a positive battery connection).
Held in with good ole superglue.
How are they holding up?
I vape that mod like a madman and since there is no built
In charger I change the battery about once every other day
Still running like a champ:)
Still surprises me how light it is.

so, here is mine, but i made mine all from scratch (no kits at all)
DISCLAIMER!!!!! DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

what i did here is very dangerous unless you know how to work with electronics well, DO NOT DO THIS (which im sure most here do but i dont want that 1 guy who thinks he knows and blows himself up)

this mod is a completely un-regulated mod, no chip at all battery straight to 510. i hollowed out and old cars toy that took batteries, modified the battery compartment to fit 2x 18650's and wired them to a trigger from an old drill that didn't work anymore, then wired the trigger to an old 510 from an old ego (soldered new wire, the tiny wire would have cooked fast) i used 12 gauge wire for the whole thing (the same wire that is in your walls at home) i need to retrofit something for a battery cover though as the old battery cover doesn't fit anymore.IMG_20140701_163213.jpg IMG_20140701_163234.jpg IMG_20140701_164341.jpg

Here is my baby!

Fazed.jpg

Perhaps not a custom custom like some of the above fine examples but a limited production run all the same. I have it running on two 16850 X 2600 mAh batteries.

What makes it so special to me is that it was made after Fazed Box Mods
officially stopped making them as a personal favor from Fazed and purchased for me as an Xmas gift from another vaping friend.

Feels great in my hand and not too much worry about the batteries dying!

i have a question, where did u get your 510? i keep frying the solder points on mine, ive been looking for one like that.

EDIT: that is if you made this, if not, does anyone know where i can get a solderless 510?

Yes, I made it. It is the 2nd of 2 I made like this.
It is up on ebay for anyone interested. here

These are Fatdaddy spring loaded 510 connectors for box mods. here
Seems like the FD's are always out of stock.

Here are some similar connectors from Veritube .

There is also the chi-you 510s if that will fit the bill for solderless. here

I appreciate the reply, I personally do not own a micrometer, something else I need to add to my list.. If you get the time (no rush) could you perhaps measure it for me?
