Thanks for the feedback on the Goliath. Where did you get it from and how much?

I doesn't off the bat, but you can probably make it fit by either making it somehow screw in further or using an extra seal so the glass sits in firmly.

bahhh that sucks.. thanks for the vid.. I'm sure Sense will come out with their own RBA head eventually.. I'm just terribly impatient..

I bought 3 packs of heads so I should be set for awhile neways

Well, I'm done with the kanger ST. I reported that the glass is not level on one "cut" edge. So after cleaning it up, & checking the o rings, I flipped it so the level edge is on the bottom. Put a new coil in it. Primed the coil, let it sit upright for an hour or so, and- eewwww it flooded the base under the coil. So, it isn't spitting, more like spewing fluid. Blech blech blech! And it still oozes from the bottom. It's not even going on the shelf, more like the drawer with the blus and V2s. Oh well, *shrugs* not the only bad kanger experience but the worst.

I had some of the same issues with my OG Subtank. Emailed Kanger support ([email protected]) and they had a set of new o-rings (and RBA insulators) to me in a few days with no charge. I've got those on my OG now and haven't had any leaking issues since. I bet if you mention that your glass is not cut right you could get a replacement. Just saying, kanger products may not always be perfect but they do usually make an effort to fix their mistakes.

I use 80 VG based mixes at 21 watts. It would do ok if you only hit it every 2 minutes. If you try sooner there is a good chance you will get a dry hit. That's using the .5 OCC coil

The wife is using my STM now. she doesnt chain vape nearly as much as I do so the flavor is great for her. I love my Arctic and also have the Starre on the way. I do notice I like the .2 ohm coils better than the .5s, so im looking forward to seeing how the Starre matches up.

I dont believe thats an rta, thats a clearomizer, the zephyrus' coils look like a rebuildable deck but theyre replaceable coils. Nice that they went with a different approach than the standard dual vertical coil

Agreed. Def not an RTA, though I'd suspect UD will probably have an RBA deck for this; it'd be unwise for anyone entering the game at this point to not. I'll be looking out for this one. While surfing around, I noticed the High Voltage Matrix coming out soon as well. anyone have anything to weigh in on that one?

Look who decided to join the party...This Freemax Starre is a definite BEAST! Flavor: Beast mode. Vapor Production:OFF THE CHART. I choked on the first rip due to all the vapor I wasnt ready for. I know now why this thing is 5ml. I went through all 5mls on my 20min drive home from work and my 15min stop at jiffylube for my wifes van! I dont know that I could do this one everyday, but I do like it over the Arctic, and ill probably split the workload between the two. I too am waiting to see how the zephyrus performs, because with all this recent vapemail, I have to slow down!

excellent debrief there, @TheVapingDevil , now we need someone to compare to the arctic...then wait for the next subtank to come out and blow those away...I'm starting to notice these subtanks multiplying and breeding like flies; emerge unexpectedly, live a vibrant and meaningful existence for about 24 hours, and are immediately killed and replaced by more flies...and the cycle of subtank and vape budget death continues.

Man you said it. We now have all manner of these sub tanks and a few of each will probably end up gathering dust along with boxes of coils no one will ever want. The new tanks are rolling out so fast that they kill the sales of what was hot just last week. It's a good thing we just love to purchase inventory that's obsolete 15 minutes after we put it in the show case. Oh shit, the Delta 2 is available in black. Better get six of those fuckers since no one wants them anymore. At least it took about two years for people to get sick and tired of buying Innokin's shit like tulip mania. We have some of the new Starre's coming in tomorrow but only a few and will probably never need to reorder them or any of the previous sub tanks because of the awesome new tank coming out next week. I don't know what the new tank is but it's coming out next week along with 147 new juice companies, 3 new e-liquid bottles you can cram up your ass for potability, 4 of the best new dippers ever until next week and a downsized micro mini derringer that solves the issue of the original derringer being so damn bulky, 34 new box mods and dozens of new mechs with cool engraving to be cloned in 24 hours or less and for sale cheap at the online China junk dealers. Sub tanks.........Why even bother to stock coils for these fuckin things when they will be old and forgotten before the original coil go's tits up. What a crazy racket the Vape Business is. Gotta love it...........while it lasts.

You can always drill a hole in a piece of wood for an atomizer stand. The hole just has to be bigger and deeper than the 510 and it will sit on the flat bottom of the atty.

Hey, @TheVapingDevil why arent you happy with the Starre??
Hey @WARCHOP37, I actually love the tank but believe it or not, it is a bit too much for me. the .25 coil puts out insane amounts of vapor. Reminds me of the old days as a teenager using a funnel to consume mass qtys of beer. lolol, I am sure you get the picture. Its just massive amounts of vapor. Flavor is excellent. Using the .5 coil the past few days def makes it more manageable. I alternate back in forth between the Starre and my Atlantis with cotton coils. The Atlantis mutes everything but it is such a smooth and calming vape and I haven't found anything yet that has the quality vape the Atlantis does. If I am not too concerned on flavor I use Atlantis and when I want a yummy vape I grab the Starre. Both produce some huge plumes of vapor and the Starre beats everything on flavor so far. I think it is the DUAL Vertical coils that are helping that out. I vape the .5 at 30 watts which may be on the low side compared to others but I like a cool smooth vape over the hot ones. Hope this helps. I will pick up the Zephyrus once it comes out just for comparison.

The Zephyrus from the first impression vid sounds like it should be perfect for you. Those dual parallel coils seem to be producing the flavour of a flavour chasing atty but without the huge clouds of the Starre. As you can't push too much power through it, your juice should last longer.

The High Voltage Matrix looks similar to the Atlantis V2 but with the coils from the Starre. Now all someone needs to do is merge the Matrix with the Zephyrus for the perfect all round Sub Tank.

-- Update --- Edit:
It's called the DON and is due out the week after the Matrix ;) :p

who makes the DON?
Sorry guys just some British sarcasm following Cigmod VonToker's post earlier. It was just a reference to what for me would be the Godfather of all sub tanks. Can't be worse than calling your tank 'Donner', just reminds me of kebabs every time I see it mentioned.

@ rudogg760 thanks for the video review of the Donner! I kept passing it off just because of the name, but tempted to try out their coils, especially if they fit the Atlantis. They've got the Donner 22 now:

1 USA Kanthal wire, Big Vapor, Original taste .
2 100% no leakage, no burnt taste, huge vapor.
3 BVC technology , Sub ohm (0.3Ω/0.5Ω) .
4 Unique Anti-leakage design.
5 Airflow adjustable, Support max 50w.
6 Coils suitable for Atlantis.
7 Size:22*75mm
8. 8 years experience in producing e cigarettes!

Just got a Herakles, so far not impressed, spits a lot of juice, and just tastes kinda off. My arctic is sitting in a drawer until horizon tech comes out with some new coils that don't taste like shit. Pretty bummed, because the arctic was fucking awesome until the coils started to taste terrible. Mostly using my kangertech with the rba base, when I'm not dripping.

My Kanger subtank was kinda a disappointment and not even sure why.
I get good clouds I guess. Never leaked anything so far and seems to get great fuel mileage.

The more I think about it I think it's the Tesla 120w box mod rubbing me wrong.

(.2 ohms) I hit the fire button with this beast to my face, nothing. Let off, do it again, nothing. Third time it comes to life kicking in the turbo. Chain vape and it'll stick around, stop and I get to do it all over again.

So I thought OK I'll reach for it hitting the button. Take my time hitting the button again as I bring it up to my mouth and when I get it up in my face it should fire.

But no it seems to crave my frustrations a couple times first. Where's my Egrip?

I found the Kanger Sub tank (OCC coils, I dont have time nor am I any good at building ) did in fact have decent flavor with the .5 coils. But I couldn't stand the frequent dry hits I was getting. Its definitely not made for chain vaping. I too have the SX M on order and am excited to get into TC but hopefully more suppliers other than Kanger will have the Nickle stock coils. From what I hear this TC mode takes a bit of a learning curve to master but once you do the vape is incredibly smooth... again thats what i heard and have no experience with it... yet... but when I do, will be sure to post my thoughts and experiences.
