You need to replace your tank coil or its screwed on too tight and the pin is squished down, I know nothing about RBA's, if your using one of those it may be a problem with that, there is a few things you can check

I have a nautilus mini tank I tried on it but it kept saying the same thing.....I was using an rda parallel build when it happened....but I came in at a .3ohm which is well the range of the istick30.............I am getting a brand new mod on Tuesday..a istick50w.I tried everything I could find on it but I still was dead ......I even replaced the gasket under the pin....but it was just wasted time......im back to my back up mod the Itaste vv ....and it sucks balls ....and I don't use tanks

.3 is below the ohms limit for the istick 30. It can't fire lower than .4.

I have had vaped it all day at .9 and it was working without fail....so I think the .4 is just a safe reference

.9 is higher than .4. I've never gone lower than .4, so I'm really sure what happens, but if it can read a short, that means there's a certain resistance floor where it determines there's a short.

I did some research and its a common problem with the istick30 that the rubber gasket or rubber washer gets crushed when you screw down to tight and it will short out because its coming in contact with the sidewall.......still I did everything short of taking out the pin to get it to work.but on a positive note I do have all the fully functional istick30 guts and board for sale....$20.00 and its yours

I've seen the center pin prob on the 20 but the 30 is a spring loaded pin.
A .3ohm atty should show a short on a iStick 30...you have to be .4 and above, I usually use .5 myself.

My 20 died with the center pin issue, about to replace the whole connector as the threads wore out after I reinsulated the pin.

My 2 30s have been flawless so far.

the innokin mvps had a similar issue, and it was fixable if you could find the right sized o-ring. id say try and fix it if you can

Just needs 510 connection to work
You diagnose that as your problem, yet you can't fix it. I'm just playing with you, but the fact remains. It's like a car that won't start. You diagnose it as ignition failure and sell the motor for half the price of the entire car brand New.

Well really ill take what I can get for it.its just going sit in cubby hole on my desk till someone wants it or I decide to do something with it.and you can't blame a car salesman for trying to make a dollar.start high because you know you will be talked down to your wanted price

Oh you Nasty Girls love to beat shit up don't you?? Lol
I'm waiting on this to be released http://www.heatvape.com/products/devices/item/19-invader-mini I work in the woods all the time and I want something that can take some abuse. Not sure when they are being officially released, I haven't seen them around anywhere yet.
(side note: I use an istick 50W as my daily vape, haven't had a serious drop yet but it seems to be pretty sturdy!)

Never had issue with the pin. If I try to run a build to low unit will just go black and not power up. Found by plugging it in it resets the unit and works fine.

Plus 1 on the plug in charger to reset the short code, atleast the itstick 50w does this any short will shut it off untill you plug it in then it will come on instantly

I'm pretty damn clumsy, dropping my sticks constantly, yesterday on asphalt from 4 feet, yet they just work. The 30 has been a huge improvement over the early 20 I got.

I have the istick 20 with no issue was thinking about the 30 but ended up buying the dovpo e-lvt2. 30 watt. Very durable. I love it. Takes one 18650 battery and can charge with usb. Charges in just over an hour. Super fast.
