Arctic coils

So I had to replace my arctic coil after about 2 weeks. Put the new coil in primed let it sit for a while aND vape tasted horrible. I read around and this seems to be the norm with ease coils and the flavor is supposed to clear up after some use. I find it very weird that this is the case with these coils because the stock one did not do this only the replacement coils. Also I noticed a orangey brownish color to sone og the condensation when I was filling up the tank earlier. The odd color is also new. I'm beggining to think that there is something in the cotton that causing the odd color and horrible taste possibly a bleaching agent in the cotton? Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to try the .5 ohm coil that came with the tank to see if I get similar results and will post my findings. I think I may throw in the towel on the Arctic and upgrade to a starre or high voltage tank because of this which is frustrating cuz I just got this. Any help to rid this taste would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think its common, my best bet is to try and boil that shit. Maybe it will get the bat taste out

I'm having the same problem, and boiling doesn't help them. I'm done with my Arctic til they fix the coils.

I was on the fence between the arctic and the herakles but decided to go with the latter because the herakles can use the melo and atlantis coils along with the sense coils.. gives you a broader range of coils to use.. Not sure if the arctic can use any other type coils or not - but might be worth looking into

My biggest thing is why do thecoils that came with it not have the taste it seems it is only the replacement ones

I think because they are from a different production run.

this is usually the case with kanger ones.. even the new OCC coils for the subtank.. the coils that come in the package are amazing.. the replacement ones don't last half as long..

This has been the case with kanger for a long time.. sucks to hear other companies seem to be cutting corners as well
