One on One Flavorings

I tried them out for the first time just recently. I like them - the flavors I got were pretty accurate - but thought they were a tad overpriced. Good for lazy mixing days though - no crazy recipe needed.

Most of the flavors I got were pretty "meh" at first, but ended up really good after about three weeks. I mixed them at 8%, too weak so took it up to 10, then 12, and couldn't get what I wanted out of them. But after three weeks, they became crazy strong, so watch out for that. Safe bet is probably to start at the % that they recommend for each individual flavor (on the flavor's order page - varies). Almost seems like their molecules need a little more time to dissolve than usual? Dunno. The only flavor I had a problem with was Pound Cake. I mixed it at 12 and got a light sponge cake. Let it sit awhile and flavor completely vanished. Luckily I had some FA Pandoro to fix it. Here's what I've tried so far:

Flan
Creme Brulee
Vanilla Custard Cheesecake
Pound Cake
Lemon (tastes like lemon juice, not Pledge)
Banana Split (banana tastes like real banana, not Runtz)
Sundae Topping (good chocolate-ice-creamy flavor, plus it's only 50¢)
Pie Crust

Been wanting to try Apple Pie a la Mode and Key Lime Pie next, maybe Spumoni too (although HIC's Mixes has a really good recipe for that - lazy).

24 hours later and my first mix is still opaque and really doesn't have a great, prominent flavor and I mixed a little heavy 'cause that's how I like it lol

Don't go too heavy. They're a little stronger than FW/TFA/Cap. I'm a flavor junkie too, and 12% was way too much for me (after some steeping). Going too heavy makes it taste funky too (bitter, perfumey, etc.).

...yikes, OPAQUE? o_O None of mine were like that. In fact, most of them were clear.

I went with:

Fruity Stones III 12%
Milk Untertone 8%

It smells much closer to Fruity Pebbles today, but taste isn't there yet. I'll give it a week in the drawer and try again.

I was expecting stronger flavor too, but based on smell I was thinking they were all on the weak side. Time and taste will tell

@xXxLEONIDASxXx I bought a fruity pebbles from a vendor several weeks ago and it came in max vg. It took what felt like forever before the fruity pebbles tastes really started to show, so dont toss it after just a week. Just figured I'd let you know becuase I wouldn't be surprised if the ingredients were the same as yours.

Ok my first batch is going down the drain. Shake shake shake and it looks like there is some sort of chemical separation going on in the bottle and still had an opaque frosty white coloration.

The first couple drops were meh, kinda artificial tasting...no fruity pebbles and definitely no creamy milk. More of the infamous pine sol flavor. Then things went downhill fast. A super strong chemical taste kind of like I was vaping a burning tire. I removed wick to make sure I wasn't melting delrin insulators or had hot spots. None of the above were found. Rewicked, redripped and it just got worse. It took a good 20-30 minutes and a cup of coffee to get the taste out of my mouth. This time it reminded me of an end of the night drunk when you lit the wrong end of your ciggy and took a big drag...completely horrible.

One down and a whole lot to go...I'm a little nervous.

@cindycated do you remember the taste of their pie crust or if it has Acetoin?. I read it was good and I'm not quite satisfied with others so far. I just got TFA Pie Crust (with Acetoin) and it's light white sugar tasting and I'm looking for something darker.. Already tried Apple Pie, Cheesecake Graham and Graham Cracker

"Important Information:Diacetyl Free, Acetoin Free and Acetyl Proprionyl Free"

To tell you the truth, I didn't even taste it in my last mix.
Let me try it plain real quick and see...not that I'm any good at that. :D

Mixed just OoO Pie Crust at 10% with a little sweetener:
Day one: extremely weak, tasted like custard.
Day two: pie crust, with a hint of apple. I never tried TFA's by itself, but in a mix, it reminded me a lot of the pie crust in those frozen pies that you'd have to defrost (which I actually like :D ). This one reminds me of this:
6a0120a86d37ac970b0162fcf84da4970d-320wi

you know, the lumpy kind. :D Not quite there, but tastes like it would have potential to get there in another day or so. I just can't vape this thing plain anymore. :D
You'll have to add more of it - I think it's a lot weaker than TFA's. Like I said, I couldn't even taste it in my last mix.

Have you tried FA Apple Pie (just a small, small hint of apple in there, with really good crust) and a little FA Cookie?

Thanks for re-trying it. The picture looks nice but weak custardy lumps isn't quite what I would have liked to have heard.

haha it was only custardy on the first day. "Lumpy" referred to the type of pie crust at the top of the pie pictured. Good, but I like FA better.

Got some more flavors in today:
Spumoni
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
Apple Pie a la Mode (I had ordered more of the FA stuff, but got shipped to the wrong address, so this tides me over till I can get to it)
Root Beer Float.

And wow, not one but TWO 30ml FREE samples! Fruit Punch and Concord Grape. (I think it's a special promo while supplies last, but I was expecting ONE way smaller bottle)

Oh man, I'm really enjoying Root Beer Float! I impulse-bought 30ml then got worried about some weird anise-y, licorice-y, spicy, medicine-y mess, but it's really good! Root beer tastes like root beer and it's well-balanced (almost subtle) with plenty of vanilla ice cream. Gunker flavor though. 10ml later and my atty's already getting really hot. Vaping on KFL+ V2 with polycarbonate mtank, no signs of anything bad happening.
12% RBF
3% Sweetener (I think this batch is weaker than TFA sweetener though - maybe half)
Steeped 1 day.

Tried Spumoni first, and meh not ready yet. Bakery stuff I usually give 3-4 days, so mixed, but haven't tried those yet.

They sent me Fruit Punch as a free sample that I didn't think I was gonna use, but it's actually come in handy for "cherry on top" in my mixes. I've used it in my cake and ice cream stuff so far.

I recently bought ooo pie crust and ooo apple pie.

The first day i mixed a 15ml batch with 10% apple pie flavor. The most dominant taste was the crust with a pretty fat buttery taste, could also taste some cinnamon.

After only a day the taste could best be described as "burnt", almost like a dry puff. It made me believe the aspire coil was going bad, but i filled up my k1 tank with another flavor and the burnt taste was gone.

Experienced the same thing with the pie crust flavor when i added 3% ooo pie crust to a mix with 2% FA apple and 4% FA citrus mix. First buttery flavor, but after only a day or so: Burnt.

Do you have any recommended percentages for ooo pie crust and apple pie? I bought 60ml of the crust and it would be a waste to throw it away, so i want to make this work.

Was it the cheaper Apple Pie? Their site says 15-25%.
When I tried Pie Crust as standalone (just to taste it), I did 10%.
I've been vaping their Apple Pie a la Mode (12% with some caramel, 4-day steep) and haven't been getting a burnt taste, but I use RTAs on mechs. I remember when I used Evods on Spinners, same thing happened to me with FW White Chocolate - even turned black (like strong coffee), but tried it again on a KFL and it was fine. So I dunno - maybe some flavors just don't like clearos. Do you have a way to turn down the power?

Yeah its this one.
The weird thing is that the apple pie tasted good the first day but turned worse.

The crust flavor smells really good and buttery, it's a shame that i can't use it in my batches with good results.

I use an istick so i can turn down the wattage and voltage, you think some flavors are more heat sensitive than others?

I'll have a subtank mini with rba within a couple of weeks, looking forward to trying the flavors on that one.

Yeah, those cheaper flavors is a new line and I haven't tried them yet. But if it still doesn't work at lower power, definitely try them again with the STM. (maybe it's an airflow thing? Don't really know why I had that problem with FW White Chocolate.)
I've been having to let OoO stuff steep for around 3-4 days too (flan took almost 2 weeks  ). They start off really weak, then they get stronger (and better tasting) over time.

Well it looks like this thread has been asleep for a while, but I just got some OOO flavorings myself. Got me some Creamy Yogurt Cheesecake, Powdered Sugar, & Creme Brulee. I ordered them for specific recipes I wanted to try, but for the life of me can't remember why I ordered Creme Brulee!

Anyone have experience with this flavor or a good recipe recommendation?

i just went to check their site to find a percentage to use the glazed donut i got from them. a chat box popped up and I asked and they said 3-5 perecent. I did a small tester months back at 4 % and it was ok kinda bland. Going to to try 5% next. Don't know if that applies to all of their flavors but it might be helpful. to check with them personally.

Maybe because it has custard notes and steeps faster than actual custards? Maybe it was a freebie if you ordered from them right away? I don't know why you ordered it lol. I wasn't very happy with it. I rather use inw crème brulé. However I might revisit that one a bit later.

I would try it @ 6%, because just like Matty, I barely could taste anything @ 2, 3, 4 and 5%. Even after a 30 day steep, testing it throughout. For me it was more a flavor that needs lots of support by itself rather than supporting something.

But then again its subjective, you might like it better at lower percentages.
