Can we vape the stuff that looks like cotton out of a pill bottle

OK everyone I just opened up a walgreens Ibuprofen bottle and this stuff looks like rayon I think
it has these bizzare looking white spots here is pic what is this stuff should I try to vape it? or what would you do

Doesn't look like the rayon I have but still worth a shot I guess? Might want to boil it first just to be on the safe side..

Just go to cvs and buy a bag of organic cotton balls for like 4 bucks. That's what I use had a bag for over a year

No if its regular cotton and its in a medicine bottle it has to be clean if I can use it to vape why not I have Rayon and a life time supply of Jap cotton but it looks interesting and I thought I would ask if anyone else had tried it I dont see any reason to boil it if its been inserted with pills I would assume it is sanitary

For some reason I wouldn't, what was it in with possible residue for one reason and what is it made out of (unknown) IMI

Why risk it when organic cotton is like $3? That does look like cotton, but some medicine bottles come with what looks like rayon, but is actually a rayon/poly blend which will alter your DNA in a very heinous manner.

ohh shit you mean I could use this and possibly change into a lizzard like my DNA may change or the hulk you know what Im going to light it on fire some of it see what it smell like thanks good idea do not be burning up poisonous materials in your RDA

god thing I lit it on fire that is not cotton only its also something else baaaad... ok note to self do not use material out of medicine bottles to vape yuck I dont even know what that smell is but its not cotton only

dude you saved me its not just cotton ohh my god I just lit it nasty nasty ok back to Rayon or Jap cotton but I saw it thought maybe it was worth something maybe in a cartomizer hell hahaha

Even if it is just cotton it's most certainly absorbed some chemical(s). Regardless, I wouldn't use it as a wick.

A quick edit, I tried the cotton after boiling it. Been vaping it a few hours, and my opinion is I think I'll stick with the wicking cotton. Just to be safe. ;)
