I agree with the point of this PSA but the beginning is misleading.

While we know for certain smoking can and usually leads to cancer, we do not know for certain vaping may not cause cancer down the road. Now while this PSA does not directly say vaping will prevent someone from getting cancer, it implies it. And I do feel if you using vaping devices to quit smoking then stop vaping your chances of getting cancer from inhalation is now reduced to nothing However that is not implied in this psa so I fee this type of message is wrong. I love the 2nd half of this PSA and would love to see more things like it. But we as a community should be careful not to overstate the benefits of vaping. I would love for there to be known research that says vaping X mls a day for 20 years does not have any negative side effects.; But we just arent there yet.

We have to remember, that often times our biggest opponents are no where near as educated on the subject as we are. SO while many of us probably watched this PSA and went "NICE" or something to that effect, most of us knew in the back of our head what I already said, that there is no evidence to show that vaping will not eventually cause cancer, we do know that anecdotaly and with the current research available that by switching to vaping from smoking we have GREATLY reduced our risk of lung, throat and mouth cancer. But to the less informed person who has not read all the research and is involved in the community, some may take that beginning part as saying - vaping is 100% safe and healthy- and we all know that is not necessarily true

I hoeto see more things like this with a united front by vapers and a day come when we dont need this.
