Tanks?

Hello all,

I have been using regulated mods for a bit and tanks were easier to buy for those. However upon talking to several other people I am confused on mechanical mods. I bought a Chi You mod and would love to use a tank with it, however, many people are saying that you cannot use a tank with a mechanical mod. So I came to the net to see if this is true. I am not looking to blow my face off or anything just wants to make sure I can use a tank with a 18650 mod safely.

Additionally, can you use premade coils if so what are some good one that won't pop right off the bat.

Sure you can use a tank with a mech mod! By premade coils, do you mean OCC heads in the tanks?

I am looking at using a sub ohm such as aspire or the kangartech. I don't mind building coils I am good with ohms law, but don't wanna drip all the time because it seems like it would be a pain. Example is when I'm driving. From video looks like if I'm not making a direct connection to battery I should be fine. Ie. Have the pin.

The Kayfun series are easy to build and work well.

The Subtank offers an RBA option as well so you can either use the RBA heads you build yourself or the OCC heads which you purchase.

You can definitely use tanks on mechanical mods. I only use mechanical mods and I mostly use tanks.

the only real problem with tanks on mech mods would be the hybrid mods and thats due to the center pin on tanks being recessed, so you push the button and it hard shorts to the atomizer body itself which can cause failure battery venting etc.but a tank on a normal mech mod should be of no issue. just keep them away from the hyprid style like the smpl and the 4nine etc
