I agree with your/our hope for America's future. I'm glad to hear about your daughter's awareness. I have made the same comment pertaining to my g'daughter saving this country...

Let's hope that there are many more like these 2 hiding in the fourth grade.
I'll let you guys know next week...but with older ones.

@rowdyplace I don't need any until pigs fly, but figured someone else might be interested. Hey RP Sr. What's the recipe for that CowBoy mix you sent? It's good.

It used to be called "Cowboy", TFA renamed it to "Western". You can still see it being sold under the old name in a few places.

Anyway, 8 - 10% into a 50/50/1.2%nic base.

Steeping - a couple 4 hour sessions in the CP at 150°F. minimum...

Congratulations @ClaireW! That's amazing. Truly. I'm with RP, the only things I've done for 19 years are exist, breathe, smoke and contemplate what I want to be when I grow up.

Vape mail day. Nic and vg from VT. Got their vg cause I figured if the nic tastes so clean and it uses their vg as its carrier. Ipso facto clean vg. also got my Colonial mod in. So far so good. Nice finish and love the switch.

Happy Anniversary Claire! Vans are so comfy. I used to have the craziest pair of Van sneakers. They used to be #3's go-to skater shoe.

I need to find a tree service today. I'm scared. From what little research I've done, they're sounding like $400 a tree is a bargain. Gulp. I just have to suck it up, there's a very large Southern Pine (wannabe telephone pole) with a very large dead hanging branch waaaaaaaaaaaay the frig up there.

Thank you!

I'll be looking for bright crazy patterns. TOH says I'm going thru identity crisis LOL. I'll blame it on turning 50 this year.

Those big ass pines down here suck. They're only good for mulch. This past Dec we has two removed. It was either $400 or $450 each. . I think they were close to 90 ft. About 3ft in diameter. They were about 15 yards away from my house -- leaning my way and close enough to drop on my house. TOHs parents hooked us up and removed the trees for us. We were very grateful. Either one of those trees could have split my house.

Prior to that we removed three other huge pines that were close to house. We still have about 18. Most are thick and tall. Some are tall but skinny. these are far enough on the back of my property where they won't get house but could crush my barn.

Give me a condo or Winnebago lol

Good luck GG!

Ummmm I didn't realize it, but I have a problem. I like to pride myself on not owning anything unnecessary. I guess I was wrong. However, I do wear them all, and I can say that besides a couple of dressy shoes for work, that's all I own.

but nonetheless, it's ridiculous.

Bawhahaha! That's awesome. :-D

I thought the original posting was appropriate! I was looking for sounds of water running to send you. Then, I was going to ask you to think about jumping into a swimming pool...

Good Morning Jr.

I have a nice pair of classic black low-top Cons, a green pair of high-top Cons and these Airwalk limited edition frayed pirate ones:

All from thrift store or free from my sis. We wear the same shoe size and she buys a lot of stuff she never wears. :D

we're the vans shoes groupies!

Caff - nice sister

Back when I worked for sports authority the shoe vendors would come in during the day & setup displays - talk to me about their new shoes etc.. I was manager of shoe dept at the time. If I expected the Nike rep that day I would wear Reeboks. Cause once they noticed me not wearing their brand they offered me a new pair of their newest release LOL BUT I hardly remember a Vans rep thinking back on it.

Vans don't need a rep. They sell themselves. =)

Nice! My Gramma and Dad were both managers for the shoe depts. of local JCP stores back in the 80's. But, I didn't get much in the way of freebies as I'm an odd size and we were pretty poor. ;)

But, I'm really good at thrift shopping. I have DM's, Clarke's and more just from that. Including a rare pair of DM brown split-toe oxfords that are my faves. :)

They are like these, but with a split-toe. Dad said they were around $175 new back in the 90's, but I got them in nearly new condition for $10.

B-day is going OK.

Mom brought me a tasty BK's Big King burger...makes me happy since I can't get that anywhere near here and I'd never had one.

. Washing it down with one of these:

I think the plan is; a bit of happy hour at the local Tomato Bar across the blacktop inferno of a giant parking lot, then go with Uncle to get my free steak dinner at another watering hole after 5:30pm. Too damn hot to sit around in the Apt. and roast on my B-day. :D

Happy Birthday CaFF!

Thanks! Heading off to the lounge for Martini happy hour before dinner.

Lol. My nice shoes are docs

Yeah, I have those brown ones that are dress casual and good with jeans. Then, I have a pair of shiny soft black leather DM oxfords for dressier.
Or, If it's like a suit and tie occasion, I have a pair of actual dress shoes.

Yuppers, I have a lot of clothes, ties, shoes, etc.because back in the 90's I worked at a lot of shirt & tie sorts of jobs. Plus, I just like to dress well. :D

Same here. I have a black calf height pair from early 90s mom bought for me. I wore them a lot while I lived in Boston. 1995 - 2005. Still wear them but not so much in hot weather. It's like they never wear out? ???

Found a low black pair like new in thrift store for $5. They seem so much heavier than the high tops

I'm more the barefoot type these days - easy to do working from home. But I love all sorts of shoes!

I love going barefoot...barefoot while at home, or thong sandals/flip flops in the summer.

Short top DM's are heavy. They feel like steel-toed shoes to me because of their weight.

FP you getting a bunch of rain over on your side of town?

Mom said down pours by her / sandy springs. For quite a while today. Noticed on earlier news rain was stalled out over your way.

Tmwr night is hippie night in downtown Woodstock. If rain holds off I might go hang out after work.

Yes, slow rain all afternoon here. No storms or downpours yet.

Oh, hippie night sounds fun. What's going on there? Can you wear bell bottoms and white boots?

Shoes? I never owned a second pair of shoes until I joined the Navy at age 19... Get a new pair and throw the old ones in the trash. Wear the new ones right out of the store...

New cloths? I grew up thinking "irregular" was a brand name...

This b true!!!

I'll have to show mine. They're not heavy at all.
