I think I only have two delrin drip tips they're tiny.
Honestly, if i only used my ultrasonic cleaner just for my drip tips it would still be well worth the $35!
I don't have an US cleaner yet, just doing the old school.

I thought this was only me! It is kind of like dry, sticky skin. I have to wipe my tips every few days.
Been using nothing but plastic/delrin for awhile now, I have a few metal ones that sit unused in a little stand. I personally like the muffler tips that are angled, for some reason it just suits me.

That is a really good idea. I have a pack of them somewhere (the wipes used for giving injections) so carrying them will be handy, and it sterilises the tip too. Thanks for that tip.

No, not really, I will be using it for tons of other things including tank parts, tips, and a list of other things, for under $50, well worth it to me

I've got a hematite colored tip that is a lip scum magnet, whereas some of my other tips aren't. I dunno if it depends on the slickness of the surface or what? Agree with y'all about fingernail and those alcohol wipes both being useful. I have used baby wipes in a pinch, but they can leave a funky taste.
Delrin, Teflon sound like the way to go, I'm no chemist but electron bounding may be applicable to the reasoning behind the fore-mentioned materials managing to give the lip scum the slip. Why I think lip scum slipper and than go into foot fetish, oh nevermind

I have a chuff cap that has heat sinks on it. You can't just wipe or scrape it off. Gotta get a toothpick to go after those lip boogers. Eww.

$10 actually isn't as high as I've seen drip tips go for. $10 I could see paying, $35 as I've seen on some sites I could not.

I clean mine daily, so I have never seen lip scum on it. I've seen lipstick on it when I was letting a pretty lady sample the flavor I was dripping. I usually remove the tip if I hand my mod to some one else, but she was hot, I forgot, and it was just the tip in her lips.
