Hey all,

Looking at getting the Lemmo 2 RTA and I have a couple of questions.

What is the airflow like on them compared to the Kanger Subtanks?

And is there any leaking if you set it on its side?

How well does the side fill port work?

And any other thoughts you might have as well.

Thanks!

I have one, and I love the flavor. I vape mtl, so I *think* the airflow is probably similar, but it's possible that you might be able to get more on the lemo 2 than the stm.

It can leak like a sieve, depending on its mood (wicking, filling, weather, etc).

Fill port works well. Be sure to close everything off first.

I really like this rta, but I don't take it out, because it can suddenly leak (some will say theirs never leaks - I wish I had the secret)! If you close off the airflow before putting it on its side it might be ok...

I have the lemo 2 as well. I mainly use my subtank mini and just started using this yesterday. So far I haven't encountered any leaking, although I've only had to fill it 3 times. I really like the top fill, not having to take it apart to fill is nice. I also have not experienced any leaking when it's on its side, which is important to me because where I keep my vape while driving has it completely sideways.

Flavor is good, not sure it's quite as good as the subtank but it's very close. Airflow is also excellent, I have one of the first runs of the subtank mini so a single airflow slot but it is taller then the lemo's so I would say the lemo has a slightly tighter draw and slightly louder. Overall I like my lemo 2 and will probably keep in rotation with the subtank.

That being said my biggest gripe so far has been that the lemo came soaked in machine oil, took a few boil and wash cycles to get it clean and it still tasted funny for the first tank.

My Infinite Plume Veil 1.5 Clone came this way. I scrubbed it well with a toothbrush in a tupperware full of rubbing alcohol and then rinsed it very well. No funny taste.

I work for an aerospace manufacturer, and got the tip from the shop floor manager years ago to get the machine oil off of newly machined RC parts. We use alcohol and a scrub brush at work to ensure there is no oil on anything before we send it to the QA lab for FAA or Military certification. This happens to every part, there is no spot checking.

That's actually funny, my plume veil 1.5 clone was clean when I got it. But everything I've gotten from Eleaf so far has been covered in machining oil. I'll have to give that a try next time I run into that problem.

Lemo 2
Flavor is subjective, I enjoy mine.

The build deck is easy to work with.

Closing the bottom air and opening the top fill, I put my finger over the drip tip then fill, when filled I remove my finger and close the top. I never have a leak. Before I started using this method I would randomly have fluid when I opened the bottom air after filling.

Mine occasionally leaks when on it's side, I use 70 pg. So, I don't allow it to be on it's side.

Just pull the trigger already:p!
I also have one and its my adv. Its very versatile, where you can use tons of different builds with many different thicknesses of wire. When you get the right build, the flavor is out of sight. If you sub ohm, its great. If you dont sub ohm, its still great.
As for leaking, its a big kayfun (vaccum system). Once you get to know its quirks and 'how to hit it, at which airflow setting' it will rarely leak on you. If it does, turn it upside down and blow it out, then it stops.
I used to use an infinate cltv2 as my adv, the lemo2 has taken its place. Its a quite a bit looser than an orchid, but its airflow settings go tight enough to take mouth to lung hits.
Just do it RJ. Youll never know until you buy.

Very unlikely to find yourself with any buyers remorse once you've invested in the Lemo2. Worst I've heard of them is a need for a good cleaning which I gave mine right off the bat. Some gal was flooding but didn't wick hers right.
One of the easiest and quickest atomizers I've owned to fill, just for sport I used a 236 ml bottle to fill one of mine the other day and just had to wipe her mouth when she was full.
Real simple Kayfunish build, I go big on the wick diameter myself, near 3.5mm and can't remember my last dry hit on wattage nice tanks for temp control too.

Get it from a source eleaf will respect or you will have no warranty. My is a pain, the fill hole is almost impossible for me to open and it sits in the drawer never to be used. I should have just bought another mutation x or the billow v2.

I was never able to get my Lemo 2 to wick. Must have tried 20 different variations of the pancake method and still constant dry hits. So I sold it to Pauly Walnuts who, if he is to be believed, is happy with it and has no issues. The bastard....

I have a lemo 2 took a little while to get used to have a lemo drop too prefer the lemo 2 now. The fill hole was a bit stiff to start with nice and smooth movement now though got a .4 ohm coil 80 vg 20 pg and wicks great every now an then I tilt it slightly until I see an air bubble or 2 rise but I think it's great.

I've heard of the same and an alcohol wash worked for the person posting the issue, might be worth a try.

At first I hated mine because the opening the fill hole took godzilla fingers. After lubing it with vg and exercising it for a bit, it's now very smooth n easy to open. Flavor is great

I took a good look at the Lemo2 when it came into my vape shop. I like it a lot, wish i would have gotten it instead of the Kayfun 3.1. I like the air flow on the Lemo2 the Kayfun is way to tight for me even after drilling out everything possible. If you are like me and kanger sub tanks are your go to then the Lemo2 is a good fit.

Yes, it is true. I take that thing everywhere with me and it works like a hooker in a crackhouse. Im not sure why you and I had such different experiences, but its happened to me before, especially with gennys. Id watch a youtube video with the "FOOLPROOF METHOD", Id study it, and reproduce it in detail. Id get disappointed so often! I still cant imagine how stainless steel wicks work for anyone, but they do and I loath those cocksuckers:p.

I certainly do appreciate the deal you gave me and the ADV device that was once yours. I do feel kinda bad though...

Nothing to feel bad about. I picked up a Kanger Subtank instead and really enjoy it. Plus my drippers get more use than anything else these days

I love my Lemo 2. The Zephyrus and Billow V2 are also GREAT tanks..but I HATE building dual coils on those small ass decks! I'd rate the Kanger Subtank mini and the Lemo 2 in about the same category. I'm a Kayfun guy from way back so I appreciate the easy single coil setups. I haven't had any problems wicking the Lemo 2. Maybe because I only use 60vg/40pg juice but it's been solid from day one. And awesome flavor to boot!

Heya uncle...

I love mine so much I bought two.

It likes thick wick, and big coils. I wrap 3mm ID, and wick really tight. As others have mentioned, pancake works well. But I've also found that this style is only really necessary for 70+ VG. Make sure you trim riiiight to the top of the deck, and you'll never get a dry hit.

Concerning leaking, the only time mine has leaked has been laying on its side in my hot ass car. It's been 100+ here in NC the last week or so, and it leaked out the air hole after sitting in the sun for a spot.

I've read a ton of feedback on this forum about all the things one needs to do to fill it properly. From closing off the drip tip with a finger, to holding at various angles, dancing around naked with one shoe on... Honestly I simply do as the instructions say, close off the airflow, lay it Down flat, and fill slowly. Only time I had a fill issue was the first time I tried to fill it.

Hope you love it.

I have liked my Lemo v2 since I first got it.
I like the fact that I can fill it from the top this is what has won me over.
While it does not hit as hard as a Kanger it should comes close.
I am pleased that it has little to no leakage issue as well.

I would choose Kanger over Lemo v2 if Kanger did not have leakage issue.
I would choose Lemo v2 over Kanger because of the awesome top fill

Give me a choice right now. I am going with a Lemo V2 100%

I have both the Kanger and the Lemo 2. No leaking issues with either. Not sure why people have so many issues wicking either of these tanks. They are MUCH less complicated than any of the dual coil RTA's.

I suspect it has to do with a) either pv/vg ratio, or b) how hard/often you draw (lung hits)! I agree that these are extremely easy to wick, however if you're a chain vaper - and by that I mean you can guzzle down a tank in 15 minutes with mtl hits, everything leaks as the metal heats up....LOL I read about people who 'chain vape' and yet a battery lasts all day. There are obviously different definitions of 'chain vape!'

Correct Amanda. I'm an old school "mouth to lunger". That's probably why I never run into those issues. A 1.2 ohm coil at 15 watts is more than adequate for me. I don't need to fog up my house with "weather system clouds" to feel satisfied or cool..lol Just because a device has the capability to do something, doesn't mean that it's the best or only way to use it.

Unfortunately, I'm a total flavor whore, so while I couldn't care less about clouds, there are times like I suck that juice down as if it's ice cream using higher watts and mtl hits. Because I don't draw hard enough for any wick to keep up I get leaking. I don't have that problem in Kayfuns, probaby because I build those higher ohms and there is less airflow. But the worst offender for me is the Delta II, because the flavor is amazing in that thing with a 0.5 ohm rba, but then as it heats up it just pours out of the airholes (literally flinging juice LOL)! The Lemo 2 also does it, but that's just my vaping style and no the fault of the Lemo.

Thanks for all the advice!

I pulled the trigger yesterday on the Lemo II and unless USPS messes up I should have it in my grubby paws Friday afternoon or Saturday at the latest.

I have wire, wick and liquid ready to go after it gets a quick bath.

The only time my Lemo 2 leaked, was after re-filling. I filled it too much, barely had a air bubble. I'm using 80VG/20PG, no dry hits.

Well, my lazy mail bitch decided to actually deliver my Lemo II this afternoon..

To my surprize based on other comments, the thing was not covered in cosmolene or an abundance of any other material and looked good to go right out of the box.

But it is still getting a soak in vinegar and then a quick bath in soapy water and a rinse and a dry before I try to use it.

Heck, I am even going to use the factory coil and wick that was installed as it looks so clean!

Hey @UncleRJ congrats on your vape mail delivery. When I got mine it was clean as a whistle as well. I wanted to try to factory coil and wick but the main reason I got it was to build my own temp coils so I ripped the factory stuff out. From what I hear the factory coil and wick are awesome, but takes a little tinkering to get your own wicking right. I found the pancake method was the best and stopped any leaks and dry hits / warnings from the temp device. Good luck and happy bath time over there...

Thank you kindly! The deck and chimney look almost identical to my Kayfuns and Russians so I am not expecting any issues there.

Mostl likely I will remove the factory wick and coil tomorrow for my own TC build but I am just feeling lazy now!

The only issue I really had was the top fill was extremely tight. I had to hold it with pliers and twist hard. I did that over n over then added few drops of vg to the white rubber seal you see when it open and bammmm slick as butter now. Good luck

Just finished filling it. A bit stiff but no issues.

Granted I already dropped some liquid on the wick and coils so I am just waiting to give it a chance to "Soak" in a bit.

No leaks so far.

I also forgot to clean the freaking drip tip so I am doing that while I wait.

Got all the parts cleaned and filled up (I love the fill feature).

No leaks, finished cleaning the drip tip and gave it a vape.........

WOW and WTF!

Now I just have to see how much of a whore it is when it comes to E-Liquid consumption.

But I am totally digging on it now!

The coil that came with it is 0.53 ohms. I am driving it at 31 watts at the moment. Does not seem to be as much of a whore as the ST mini. Flavor and vapor are comparable.

That's seems bout right. I had a nickle at .08 28j at 450 degrees. Was a great vape. I thought was better than ST but that's just my opinion lolol. Since it is one of my smaller tanks ( most are 4ml +) I notice it emptied sooner but since flavor us great I hit it a lot

My top fill was bit stiff to start with so when I took the tank apart I left the top part upside down with the seal showing put a bit of ejuice round it and left it to lubricate and now silky smooth I run mine at .3 ohms and it vapes great havnt used my lemo drop since.

Still going strong.

I just finished off the first fill up of liquid at about 9 this morning so at least for now, liquid consumption is what I would call very reasonable for the flavor and vapor being produced. And not one single leak!

For the second fill, I made a point of working some E-Liquid into the fill mechanism so that is now a lot smoother.

Gotta love that fill port. Filling is very easy and quick with no mess.
