Make sure your are using an ohm meter since you are using a mech. Looks spaced out between the wraps, not a bad thing but I prefer the wraps touching.

Looks like a "wrap and slap", that was my staple coil before I geeked out and started wrapping tension coils. Nothing wrong with it at all as long as it heats evenly and you aren't getting hot legs. Does it make vape? Check. Everything else is icing on the cake.
I would recommend slapping 10 bucks down for a Coil Master jig set and wrapping tension coils but whatever is convenient for you that keeps you off the stink sticks is aces in my book.

I want to get one. Is eBay the best place?
I'm sure ebay is fine, I got mine on Amazon although they seem to have gone up a bit in price and are more like $20. I swear I spent like 10 or 12 bucks but whatever, still worth it to me at $20. Just make sure you get the version 2 or 3 that has the diameters etched on the caps and the rods. Looks like they already have a new version out: Coil Master Jig Set
