No joke, I ordered Joy immediately after reading HIC's post - didn't even finish reading the thread - and by the time I finished reading the rest of it (at that time), people were already posting that it was out of stock. The fact that it's still out of stock with every U.S. vendor is pretty sad.

@HeadInClouds I cannot seem to find a complete list of the recipes that you sell on Gumroad. Is it possible that you could maintain a "master" list somewhere? And if there is a list is it possible to buy ones that aren't currently on the site? I think I read that you limit the total number to 36 due to the design/function of the host. I agree that it is slow to load, but the auto-update email functionality and other features make up for it. Do they offer the option to break the listings down into multiple pages of smaller numbers or categories that would help with load times?

There are a few reasons I limit what's listed. Gumroad keeps promising to work on load time, but they keep finding other priorities, so load time is one. I also focus on "seasonal" recipes, like fruity blends for hot weather right now. Less seasonal recipes are usually at the bottom, and they change every few days. All cycle through. I sometimes have new ideas to try on older recipes, and I keep those out of circulation while I try variations or substitute flavors. I keep tabs on TFA's component list to watch for surprise additions of "custard note" ingredients in their updates, and that's easier to keep track of with just 36 up there. Some recipes simply aren't popular, so they're not listed as often (but they never go away forever). So, load time is one big factor, but not the only one.

Thank you so much!!! You replied while I was making dinner. I ate and then just finished putting this list as well as the other 38 into a spreadsheet. I seem to have purchased more of the ones that are "rotating" than the set ones currently. However, a bunch of the newer ones are also on my to buy list when I get the money. This list will make it easier for me to keep an eye out for ones I want to buy, lol. Besides, how else would we know if we got them all?

I'm finally moved & semi-settled in. I was just about ready to mix. But, then I pop into this thread and OMG, there's a boat-load of wonderful, fruity new recipes. Fruits are my favorite weakness, so I can't mix without thinking of the HIC summer concoctions that I could be vaping instead. Tomorrow, it's off to Gumroad for me - that way I can take my time, peruse everything, order, then head over to Momma J's and order - it doesn't matter how many flavors I have, there's always more that I need. I'm looking forward to some awesome test tasting (or tasting tests, taste tests, tasty vapes - oh heck, ya'll know what I mean)........

New today at HIC's Mixes: Baklava

I didn't realize how many types of baklava exist before I began this project. Fortunately, FA flavorings make a super Greek version, and the most common Middle-Eastern variants require only a flavor swap or simple additions. If you like any kind of honey-nut dessert, Baklava will make you smile.

We're lucky here in the UK. We have an official flavourart vendor, flavourart.co.uk.
Looks like they have good stock levels to. Whenever I've been on there placing an order there hasn't been a single flavour out of stock.

Hopefully with the new FA rep here on VU it'll all get sorted out for you soon. God knows it's needed with all the demand from your recipes HiC.

Welll, maybe worth $20 shipping for a big order, but that's a lot for a bottle or two.

FlavourArt will ship to the U.S. from Italy for $4.23 ("simple mail - no tracking") but I have no idea how long that takes these days.

Instead of "I have nothing yet," I should have said, "I have no thick vanilla custard without diacetyl/subs" ;)

That is a challenge nobody has accomplished yet. All use diacetyl, acetoin, acetyl propionyl, and/or diluted butyric acid. If you're willing to vape those ingredients, Capella's Vanilla Custard is the usual starting point, because it contains lots of buttery diacetyl/subs. For now, one must compromise on either flavor or ingredients for that particular flavor profile.

I don't like compromising flavor to avoid diketones, so I find ways to get as-good or BETTER flavor without them. Really good chocolate candy used to require diketones, but with Swiss Bliss and its offshoots, you can make buttery chocolates without diketones. Sweet/rich/creamy coffee flavors all used them; I've made many FA-based creamy coffee recipes that avoid them and taste better. Since butter flavor literally IS diacetyl/subs, cookie butter would seem impossible, but I found a way around it that's much tastier than diacetyl-based versions. Butter toffee is another example; I've found a couple ways to get even better flavor than diketone-based toffees. I've also had some success with no-diketone peanut butter, malt, and cake flavors (just lighter impressions for those 3, so far). Dulce de Leche was another, and Sweet Graham. Quikberry Pink has a milky flavor only FA flavoring can make without diketones. There have been a few others. Nearly 2 years of experimenting has made several supposedly impossible-without-diketone flavor profiles possible - often even tastier.

Several more flavor profiles remain that can't yet be made without diketones, including thick custard. I delight in flavor breakthroughs for people who choose to (or who must) avoid those additives, so I will continue experimenting to find new flavor tricks.

Yea I hear you. $20 is a bit much and I would say that they don't get a lot of US customers. That's to bad because they keep things stocked up pretty good. When they run out of something it seems they restock in a matter of days.

The Blueberry Coconut Smoothie is one of my ADV's now. I can't stick with one flavor all day, usually have 3-5 tanks running at all times. I think it really needs at least 3 or 4 days of steep time to really shine. I haven't tried any of the "quick steep" methods yet. I had purchased the pre-made 15ml bottle from MamaJ's and fairly quickly purchased the recipe as I knew I had to have this one after tasting it. I mixed up the last of that bottle on Friday and went to purchase the flavors to make more and Mama and BCV are out of Bilberry. Guess it's a good thing that last bit made 50mls. I prefer to stick with a few vendors.

The Quick Berry Pink is good, but I don't have Vienna Cream in it yet (on order from MamaJ's). I'm sure it will be even better then.

I understand and appreciate your explanation, this is one of another reason we love you @HeadInClouds that you share your thought with us. I love to invite people at HIC's store which is Diketone-FREE Zone :cool::cool:But, Custard lover please wait until next..... :rolleyes:)

Mixed up a bottle of Baklava this weekend.... 10 flavours!
Smells incredible I have to say. I'm letting this one steep a week or two as it still seems to have a strong cinnamon twang to it. I imagine all the flavours will blend perfectly in this after a week.
If its a corker I'll have to mix up a bottle of pre made flavour as mixing with ten separate ones takes forever.
Looks like this could be a winner, I'll let you know once I've polished off the 30ml bottle.

I almost "misplaced" the four recipes I got a few days ago. All the ones I purchased previously were sent to the email I use for the forum and vape purchases. The last four I paid for with my PayPal account, which is a different email address, so that's where they were sent. They're safe and sound in my recipe book now. :)

The last four I paid for with my PayPal account, which is a different email address, so that's where they were sent. They're safe and sound in my recipe book now. :)

If anyone ever needs another receipt, or a receipt sent to a different email address, just let me know here or by email. It's no trouble at all! Once you've bought it, you own it forever. :)

hi HIC, does the Grapeade and Purple punch recipe have an option to make it Grape Soda like...I was also going to get the orange pop and red cream recipes you have (and about 7 others LOL) just can't get the gumroad shopping cart to function on the browser i have to use at work...
i'll order later from home...

Heya, HIC. What would you charge me to come up with something like a fruit punch that's not Hawaiian Punch sweet. I like fruit but I don't have a sweet tooth. Some good, crisp, citrus with some tropical fruits hell throw some grapes and melons in there. Hell that's hard to describe but a good mix of citrus, melon, apples would be cool... A good mix of fruit that isn't any sweeter than the PG/VG I guess. Oh, and not smelling like feet (INW exotic fruits BARF) or perfume. Any ideas?

The problem is most real tropical fruits are pretty darned sweet. Pineapple, guava, passionfruit, orange - those are the guts of Hawaiian Punch, and every brand I've tried of those flavorings is sweet. Melons too. I think FA's are more realistically sweet than most others (less candy-like), but even theirs are certainly sweeter than PG/VG.

That Inawera Exotic Roots is a weird one. I thought I tasted raw potato and ginseng. :eek: But it's sure not sweet!

Crisp citrus isn't too hard. Have you tried FA Citrus Mix? It has some grapefruit bitterness that keeps the others definitely not too sweet.

I *do* have a jug of FA Citrus Mix. Smells funky. Maybe I'll mix up some unflavored and add a few drops. Have you used it in anything successfully?

Anyway, yeah, what I'm after is a *not* super sweet fruit punch but I can deal with "realistic" sweet vs. "candy" sweet which makes me want to gag.

My best citrus so far is TPA HPNO which is supposed to be a boozy grapefruit and it is *GOOD* and mixes well with tangerine and pineapple and apricot and etc (all Capella's).

So, if you could recommend a fruit punch that is *naturally* sweet it would be really appreciated.

Honestly, I'm about to go back to the "Now Essential Oils" for grapefruit, orange, etc even though I know Dr. F. said to stay the hell away from them (lipid pneumonia or some such). At least they are flavor exact.

I use FA Citrus Mix to add a little grapefruit flavor to other citrus, without having to measure tiny bits of FA Grapefruit for the same result. You can mix other FA flavors to get your own citrus mix, so I don't think I've ever used it in a recipe I've posted. TFA Hpno is one I like, too!

If you've been using Capella's fruit flavors, you'll notice FA's are a LOT less sweet. If there are some you especially like, they'll mix just fine with FA flavors.

The original (red?) Hawaiian Punch was apple (I'd use Fuji), apricot, guava, orange, papaya, passionfruit, pineapple. Doing that with FA flavors, I'd keep Guava and maybe Passionfruit at 0.5% to avoid that floral effect, the rest at 1% for a first tiny tester. So that would be 6% total flavoring, which leaves some room for more of whatever you like, whether it's one of those originals or something from their later mixes. Cherry? Strawberry? Whatever you like, and stop before you get around 9%.

Also glad to hear that you like the Hpno, it is one of the *few* flavors that I order by the jug; it is really good.

Given what you've written here, I think you'd especially like both of FA's lime flavors and Bergamot.
