Coil building advice.

Hello fellow vapers!

I've been vaping for half a year maybe, with some breakes where i've went back to smoking cigarettes (Mostly because my ecig broke) I've always used EGO-T and now i had money to spend so i decided that i wanted a mod.
Therefore i have ordered the new RDNA 30 and the Russian 91% and the Stilare 28,5 mm RDA clone.
I have done some research on how to build coils, so I´m pretty sure that I´m able to build a Macro coil or a Micro coil or nano coil ETC.

I would like a 0,6 Ohm coil on the Stilare and a 1,2 ohm coil on the Russian.
I´m using 26 gauge Kanthal and i would like to know how many wraps and the diameter of the coils.

If anyone could help me, i would be very pleased.

P.S I also bought some organic cotton from VS to wick it with
And the Stilare is a dual coil

26ga at 1.2Ω would be a pretty long coil. You would be better off getting some 28ga and doing 8/7 wraps or 30ga and do 5/4. That is based on a 2mm coil.

Yea, but at the website where i bought the kanthal didn't have 28 gauge.
And what does the 8/7 mean? Is that just 8 wraps?

The Russian comes with some wire. That's properly a bigger gauge

Thank you, that's such a massive help! I found a video that used 24 gauge and i thought i would just guess how many more wraps i needed to make the same ohm with 26 gauge, but now i´m saved of that trouble :))

Spendi that is one damned skippy widget for the bag of trix girl. I research these tools along with consumer rebuilding methods and never encountered this blossom. How'd you come across it? A forum source, friend…? I do workshops on advanced building methods trying to pass on basic electronic principles. I introduced the adaptation of strain to produce microcoils and teach folks who to do one of these in a few seconds...

I'm told by users including professional rebuilders they observe gains of efficiency of upwards of 20%. Efficiency is the percent of work actually done by a circuit. In this case vaporization. Tight symmetrical winds pulsed into creation in a state of adhesion (as close as mother nature allows) deliver a richer, denser and fuller vaporization than what 99% of us are using. Much cooler so you can wind to lower resistance levels (if that's where you're headed) with less heat (wire heating air instead of vaporizing) and less battery strain.

Thanks again for posting. I've run the calc through its paces vs, a bunch of notable alternatives and its excellent. It more closely approximates real world proper wind results than most others. Good find.

I found ermoso posted this on ECF back on Apr 12. But being the single first post he only got it on the new members forum where it was largely ignored.

I would like to help popularize this item. It's great. But I'd like to know a bit more about ermeso.com (or the publisher) first so if you have any first hand info that would be helpful.
