Desperate need of some help

Hello all, I've been having a few issues with my vape recently, any and all help would be greatly appreciated. To start here are my specs:

Mod: Sigelei 150w
RDA: Freakshow Mini
Batteries: 2x 18650 IMR 3.7v 2500mAh Efest
Charger: Single (one fits all) wall charger
Coils: 28g dual coil 8 wraps
Wick: Japanese Organic Cotton
Drip tip: Some short delrin tip (didn't come boxed w/ RDA)

So I've been vaping for a few months now but am fairly new to the dripping side. And I've been coming across newbie errors and mistakes left and right. There are just a few left that I can't seem to figure out on my own.

The first has to do with my Drip tip. It gets so flippin hot, to the point I can't take anymore. Just after 3-4 seconds of vaping, while only at 30w. I don't dare go past that. I have been told by friends and local shop owners that it has to do with my drip tip not being properly made for my RDA. It doesn't fit perfectly and sits fairly low to the deck. I believe I know that the fix to this is just a properly fit drip tip and on that is a bit longer to reduce the heat. I just want to confirm that this is the issue and that would be the fix. As well as to any suggestions to a better drip tip to my RDA. Picutres of RDA/Drip tip can be provided if needed.

My second, and more or less big issues, is my batteries. I have read across the internet that the efest 18650 are not all their cracked up to be. And in fact just big pos's. My issue is that they take nearly all day (8+ hours) to charge, only charge to 75% no matter how long they are charging, and deplete within a half hour. Now I understand that big Watts and Volts means more battery discharge and drain, but from 75% to 0% in a half hour only at 30w seems a little outrageous to me. If anyone has any tips as to any chargers/batteries that are a favorite or last longer or "work better" than what I'm dealing with, would be much appreciated.

Again pictures of device or any parts can be provided if necessary. Thanks for any help in advance.

There is drip tips out there that are insulated to help prevent getting so hot. As for your batteries efest as far as ive heard have been hit or miss for people. Depending on the brand of your charger it may not be doing its job to its full potential if i could recommend one it would be a nitecore i2 or a nitecore i4 charger thats what i use and always give my batteries a full charge in just a couple hours.

Yep, you do have issues there.

I would suggest you get a pair of the Samsung 25R batteries and a good charger. Xtar makes a good charger and I would suggest a 4 bay charger.

As far as your RDA issues are concerned, others will be along to take care of that question for you. I don't use them myself as I don't have the patience to be fussing with them all the time.

Just because the charger is capable of charging 18650's doesn't mean it's efficiently charging them. I got a generic dual bay as my first and it took 8+ hours to charge. My NiteCore has them fully charged in a couple of hours, give or take. And ditch the Efests. Please. My Sonys are grand, but I love my Samsungs. Even chain vaping on the Sigelei, I'm guaranteed at least 24 hours. ;)

Well for starters your batts should fully charge to about 4.2v (100%) ..I use a digital charger that only takes a few hrs to fully charge my yellow AWT 18650 batts (40A, 2600 mAh) One of the best chargers I've used to date is this 4 bay LUC. I always charge my married batts together and a 4 bay digital makes it easy and accurate..

And I use either a delrin chuff cap or delrin 510 drip tip that stays cool vaping even the hottest low ohm builds I use for clouds...pictured is the chuff cap on my Dark Horse... Never gets too hot to hit... Hope this helps

Besides what has been mentioned by the others. I'm assuming, your build is around 0.7 Ohm. At the 30 Watt you're utilizing, the heat flux is extremely high. I recommend using around 20 Watt, which would bring the heat flux down.
Take a look at http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp? Use this as a guideline for your coil builds.

FWIW, my Sony VTC4s have been in my Sigelei 100W+ for 24hrs and my batteries are at 69%. Granted, I am currently using a higher mg strength (18mg), which means shorter and less frequent draws, but. . .

liionwolesale.com and rtdvapor.com are both trusted battery vendors. Both have the blue, Samsung 25Rs (rated at 20A) and liionwholesale now has the Sony VTC5s. Don't buy name brand batteries from just anyone because there's lots of fakes out there.

Charger speed will depend on the battery and how many amps the charger is sending to the battery. Most likely you have a low powered charger. I've been happy with my Xtar VP4 (except for one time when I was charging an efest battery and it went bonkers. it couldn't decide whether to stop charging at 3.7 or to continue on to 4.2 and started flipping back and forth between charge mode and idle mode, and even blinking completely off, until I unplugged and plugged back in - I blame the battery but could be wrong as to which was at fault). Both places mentioned above have the nitecore chargers and rtd has the xtar.

You mentioned your charge was a single charger. Do you mean you can only charge one battery at a time? For best results, both should be charged together and considered to be married (always keep those two together when used in your Sigelei, never use one by itself in a unit that uses only one battery, etc)

Get some Samsung 25r's. I have MXJO's as well, which are IMR batteries as well. Both work with my sig 100+. When it comes to drip tip, make sure your not high in relation to your ohm reading. As suggested, check out steam engine. Works great. For me, I usually run my drippers around 4.2-4.6v. Just mean and what I like.

For your batteries, I would suggest switching to either the Samsung 25r's, LG HE4's, Sony vtc4's or Sony VTC5's, make sure to use a good repuatable vendor

For the freak show mini, I have one and was having problems finding a food fitting drip tip, them. found these for 9$....well worth it, and totally makes the mini freak show a kickass dripper,
They sell them here:
