I feel the need to call out a couple entities for not following through with shipping out a prize given away back in March, following about 6 emails over the past 100+ days. Not sure if it's worth it to put it out there or if it's just me being a whiny bitch that should expect crap like this to happen and let people continue to give away nonexistent things...??

But not sending winnings either, but they also stole money from people and not sent product.

I hope the owner gets cancer of the taint and slowly suffers.

Disclaimer: the following information does not represent the actions or behaviors of the gentleman who runs MaddCatt Vapors. This complaint also does not have anything to do with MaddCatt Vapors as a business. I've always had a good experience with 'maddcattschlam' who I believe is the one who runs the store. Unfortunately the person that did this giveaway is related to MaddCatt, so the name is being used for reference and identifiability. The individual in question is apparently his daughter, who is a grown adult responsible for her own actions.

The one person I am going to go ahead and call out is:
Jess from MaddCatt vapors. On her 03/18/2015 Builder's Corner show, they did a couple giveaways of Angry Amish juice. I was one of those winners and promptly sent my email with all of the requested information. Here's how the email correspondence goes (underlined text is directly from the email correspondence):

03/18 - original email sent
04/20 - I checked on the status of the win, since it's been 4 weeks: Just checking on the status of this.. just over a month now. Not being impatient but I am sure you'd like to be aware! Thanks!
04/22 - response received. really didnt make sense: Angry Amish juice maker 'made all of them and shipped them. but the post office said they weren't marked clearly enough and all of them were returned to sender. I will be gathering all of these up this week and hope to have them shipped out by Friday or early next week'.
04/22 - I responded and thanked Jess for the update.
05/11 - I sent this email to follow up: It's been another 19 days since our last communication and I still have not received the Angry Amish juice that I won on the 03/18 Builder's Corner. I'm writing to let you know of this because I've seen several shows whose hosts have asked winners to inform them when a sponsor isn't fulfilling their offers on giveaways. I don't even mind if I get the juice or not, I am not being greedy at all because nobody has to do this stuff. I just want you to know what's going on with my situation here. thanks for your time!
05/19 - requested jess to confirm receipt of my email so I know she at least read it.
05/24 - response received: Hello I finally got my order in from the sponsor, please keep in mind this is a local guy with a family who is a one man shop. When I get time this week all my winners will be shipped out, thanks for your patience, however, he's had time to advertise and be active on Facebook promoting product.
06/03 -
I sent this email to follow up, again: Hey,jess hope all is well. Did these get mailed out last week? Thanks!
06/07 - response received: I had some last minute issues to handle, and then i left for vacation, these will be mailed out tuesday on my day off i'll send you and email letting you know for sure. Email never received... :/

I sent this email to follow up: I'm guessing they didn't get mailed? 92 days and counting lol, I was excited to try this :/

The great thing about vu is now we do have a thread at least calling out these guys, and there are many threads about many other shady people or stores. Vu can get rough when it comes to shitty vendors.

Thanks for letting us know. Unless maddcatt replies with a reasonable response, I'll be sure to not buy from them. There are simply way too many vendors and other competition to order from, to buy from one who uses contests as advertising and doesn't deliver. Contests are paid advertising, and you pay with product. So basically they didnt pay for their advertising.

out of our 2 vape stores, they are the better one. They try, and often do a great job, but not always as it appears is the case here
I didn't even realize they were on VU they dont advertise that fact.

If im in need of something fast I will go there versus the other store. If I need juice because i am out of DIY I'd buy their juice over the other. Prices are reasonable. They have hooked me up quite a few times. If your not in western MD I would call them up and talk to Jess. I have never dealt with her personally, but everyone else I have dealt wit h there has always been polite professional and friendly to me. I do have my own personal issues with them cuz Im picky and one of my last 4 trips to the store, I wound up wasting $40 on a tank that would never work properly on an istick 30. But they are usually good folks there. I think you just need to get the attention of the right person there to fix this situation

Perhaps you have a point, but usualy the only people who have something to say about a store is those who have a bad experience. You rarely hear about the good experiences or the satisfied customers

They are my local shop. Do I think they are the greatest shop ever? NO? DO they have plenty of room to improve? YES but don't we all. Have they pissed me off several times? YES!!! Have they made me very happy several times?? Yes!!! DO they have the lowest prices? NO. DO they have reasonable prices? Yes.
There are worst Vape shops out there, one of them is in the same town as MaddCattVapors.
They have hundreds upon hundreds of loyal local customers who shop there daily.
I believe most of their sales come form in store sales not online.
If I were to judge them by the website and how little it is updated and so forth, I would say they are only online because its expected of them.
I believe their primary focus is their 2 stores.

If i read the OP correctly about this Jess, who I have never seen in the shop went and did this contest and did not follow through properly and its not really the store itself screwing up.

The screw up of the store is not making sure Jess followed through while using the store's name.

Hell even Whiskey was getting shit for saying something about the 5P situation in another thread.

Did MaddCatts screw up on this contest? It sure sounds like it. instead of "hey heres your last chance to save your reputation" threats and "well unless MCV posts here and has a good reason Im not buying there".(Have you ever been to their website and considered buying from them?)

Now Just to make it clear, yes MCV is in my town, I shop there somedays, I do not work for them, I have been pissed off at them some days and been very happy there some days. I am not a flunky who is just trying to defend them. I am trying to show that businesses are run by people, none of us are perfect. SHIT HAPPENS, and I do not like the way some people just start bashing a company for a mistake and neglect all the wonderful things the company may have done.

I don't know where the mix up was or why Angry Amish hasn't shipped out your win. I will get to the bottom of it and look into for you. It wasnt a Maddcatts giveaway. It was juice from another vendor that was being given away on that show. One of the hosts works for Maddcatts...it wasnt a giveaway sponsored by Maddcatts Vapor...what I'm not clear on was if the juice was supposed to be sent directly from the actual juice maker or was it to be sent by the host...

Jess has relation to MCV because she is William's daughter. The Sponsor was Angry Amish. Thru the emails that are clear and readable, it appears that the someone (sponsor or Jess, idk who) tried to mail out all the wins but they were returned to sender. It also appears that Jess was supposed to gather up those packages and have them mailed out a few days after the date of the email on 04/22.

I've said many times that William and MaddCatt Vapors do not play a direct part in this situation and it's unfortunate that William has to step up and fix an issue his daughter created but at least it looks like he is now aware of the situation. William has always gotten a special hello from me when I sign onto vapers.tv and see him there because he's a pretty stand up guy. And, so you all know, I WILL email William as he requested, however I'd be pleased knowing that Jess has to stand in the corner for 15 minutes (with photo proof!!) for doing this lol :p

It would also be great for Jess to step in and weigh in on this issue, William. I'd try to send another email but I'm still waiting on a response to the last email I sent 2 weeks ago :/

OK, I don't have a dog in this hunt, but.........look up just a few post and see the contact going back and forth between MaddCatt and the customer. I agree with you, before we drag someone through the mud on a public forum we should make every attempt to correct the issue with the vendor. I have defended vendors on other threads that I didn't feel like received an opportunity to fix and issue. From what I read in this case, MaddCatt has had many opportunities to fix this issues, dating back to March!!! Much appreciated. Like I said in my email to you, I had absolutely no expectation of you stepping in to make things better. I'm quite thankful that you did and I am truly sorry that I had to even mention the MCV name.

It is my personal opinion that anyone who chooses to not do business with MCV over the actions of Jessica is making a mistake, because for WIlliam to stand up and rectify this specific situation was something that he did not have to do since it's NOT related to MCV operations.

I have been stiffed on wins by jeeper more than once quite some time back...so have a few others that I'm aware of...he doesnt return emails either...I stopped watching anything he is on and will never spend a penny on anything he is involved in...

And Yes I got it that the OP wa snot mad at MCV. It was all directed at Jess or Angry AMish, but the point is the OP said from MCV so others starting jumping on the Bash MCV bandwagon.

And even if MCV really had nothing to do with the give away, they are a small family owned and run business and basically good people, Even when I am pissed at them, I don't wish bad things for them. And between this post, the whole 5P thing, the asolo BS and some other things I have seen lately, I have just had enough of the rush to bash bandwagon. and the OP did not partake in the bash bandwagon and went out of her way to avoid it, but it still happened

But being a small family run business I figured if one member of the family messed up even if it wasn't for the store, the folks at the store would help the OP

MADDCATT VAPORS/ MADDCATTSCHLAM / WILLIAM HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS WIN NOT BEING RECEIVED. HE WAS NOT THE SPONSOR. THE ONLY REASON HE WAS BROUGHT UP IS BECAUSE HE IS JESS'S FATHER. I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH WILL/MADDCATTS FOR OVER 2 YEARS. NOT ONCE HAS ANYONE EVER COME TO ME AND SAID THEY DID NOT GET A WIN FROM WILL/MADDCATTS. HE IS THE MOST GENEROUS SHOP OWNER I'VE EVER SEEN! I HAVE WATCHED THIS MAN GO ABOVE AND BEYOND HIS DUTY AS A VENDOR 100'S OF TIMES. AS HE IS DOING AGAIN HERE BY TRYING TO MAKE RIGHT A WIN THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM OR HIS SHOP!!!!

Oh he is and since the win was for a juice from c2c a co joint or whatever Ryno has yet to see a fucking dime from me either.
Both of them can be lit on fire and I would not piss on em to put em out, Throw more fuel yes but piss of no.
Ryno parted ways from C2C almost a year ago. If Jeeper has not delivered on his wins it has nothing to do with Ryno.

Ryno parted ways from C2C almost a year ago. If Jeeper has not delivered on his wins it has nothing to do with Ryno.
It was when he was with Jeeper they had not parted ways as of that time.

Oh...and his juice is really, really good too...
