Hey everyone getting into vaping DIY has had me thinking of maybe making my own line later down the road a few years from now once I have it down point. My question for you guys is ... Does anyone know the laws of making a e juice line can you just make any flavor you want from TFA capella or any of the flavor vendors and then sell it? is it legal to manufacture e juice with their flavors? I hope I don't get any heat on this question cause I'm just honestly really curious. I'm sure everyone has thought of this at some point.

Thanks,
Zigg

I'm no lawyer, but I'd have to say it's legal since you paid them for the flavors which is the product they sell. Beyond that point, they have no legal claim to what you do with it any more than Pillsbury would have a legal say in what you made with the flour you bought from them.:)

Not arguing that it is or isn't, but I wonder what happens with premixed complex flavors. Buying them separately and making your own recipe shouldnt be a problem. But I know certain brands make premixed flavors for things like Churro or whatever, meaning the customer just adds their desired percentage to their preferred PG/VG ratio. I would think selling these flavors as your own may be a bit more of a grey area.

Yea but they are making the concentrate for the flavor not the actual e juice so it shouldn't be right? That's why I'm confused haha

Yes Ziggy. I would say that EVERYBODY that's EVER DIY'd has had that same thought when we learned how cheap juice actually is to make. You missed out bud. You're about a year and a half too late. Everybody and their brother has a juice company right now. All the "easy money" was made a long time ago. And by the time you are "ready"....there will be so many regulations, expenses and red tape, it will not even be worth it. Sorry to dash your hopes brother but unless you are some savant Mad Murdock type with the next Pluid already in your brain...telling you the truth now is better. And don't ask me who Mad Murdock is..because that would just be bad. REALLY FUNNY..but bad :)

Well I appreciate the advice soulshine. But I think if everyone in the world thought the same way you did no one would ever start any business. There is no such thing as "easy money" just hard work and determination to continue to make good product for a reasonable price and keep the wacky tabacky companies in the dust for our future generation. Just because there are a lot of vape company's definitely does not mean they are all good or run well for that matter. Not trying to get into an argument cause you are entitled to your opinion. Personally I just disagree with you.

No worries Ziggy. I'm sure you are the next Space Jam. Just telling you the truth. Sorry if it makes you butt hurt. Wait until you find out what the expected costs are going to be just to get 1 juice approved when the regulations come down. Oh but I won't ruin it for you. You have soooooo many surprises of good news ahead that it will make owning a juice company the most sensible career path EVER! LOL

soulshine, much as I love your name, your attitude is really getting on my nerves. Lay off the arrogant, condescending knowitall shit, will you? This is like the third post I've read recently where you've lit into a new user.

Sorry Mom. I'll behave, I promise. And not that it's any of your business, but I actually reached out to Ziggy and we are totally good now. In fact, instead of giving standard answers to the SAME THREADS that are opened EVERY DAY by people who can't be bothered to read, I actually referred Ziggy to some information where he can educate himself. The kid just started mixing 2 days ago and is already wanting to sell juice. SORRY if that scares me a little..maybe you think that it's NOT ridiculous idea and that he should just go ahead. Why am I even explaining myself to you?? LOL If you don't like my responses, hit the ignore button.

He was talking about "a year or two down the line", imagining years of future study. No reason to stomp all over that.

If you don't like my responses, hit the ignore button.

It's not that simple. Using the ignore function corrupts the integrity of the conversation and has other failings. Besides, you don't seem to be stupid, so there's always the possibility you'll get over yourself and say something worthwhile. This is a community. Swaggering around telling people what's what and humiliating newbies is not a positive or even neutral contribution. I remarked on it only because I saw it repeatedly. Let's not have a whole big thing. Sorry I snapped at you glad to hear you gave someone some useful, friendly advice.

You know some days i read your posts and want to strangle you, other days i agree with you. I think its the way you say things. You have very valid points most of the time, its just how you say them some days that irritates people, even when you are right.

I would agree that someone who just started mixing needs to do alot more research and thought before starting a juice company. It is not as simple as some people think. And that fact that soulshine took the time to give the OP some info to look at shows that hes not an ass and is truly being helpful.

I know I myself got wrapped up in how easy it is to make juice when I started DIY a few months ago. I was planning my own juice company etc. I think alot of us do when we first start DIY. If the OP is successful in the future, soulshine might actually be the person who helped him th emost and got him on the right track from the start.

SO soulshine keep being your helpful self, but maybe once in a while use a little sugar on your posts. lol
