Is it true for the people who are beginners for vaping faces certain problems? Some of my friend who have just started vaping are now facing stomach ache. They even mentioned about the increase of diet as vaping makes them more hungry nowadays. Are these the after effects of vaping?

Some vapers lose weight, some vapers gain. Smoking messes with your taste buds in a bad way. Now that I can taste what food really tastes like, safe to say, I haven't lost weight. I think my stomach went through some weirdness for the first couple of weeks. I think that quitting smoking is a full body cleanse in itself. To answer your question, though, I don't see these as "problems", I call it healing from quitting smoking.

Here are the problems we have all faced once we quit smoking and started vaping,

Lungs start to clear themselves once they realized you are not inhaling tar and other stuff. You may hack a bit and stuff may come up.

After that, you start breathing better. Much better.

Then, sadly, your sense of smell comes back and you realize that your car absolutely REEKS! and it must be detailed at once.

Then you can actually taste your food. This can either be a blessing or a curse depending on the skills of whoever cooks the meals in your house.

Smoking can make you less hungry. Most who, stop smoking gain weight which is actually a big problem for those who want to quit as they are afraid of the weight gain. This could very well be were increase diet comes from.

How much nicotine is your friend vaping? Possible side effects of nicotine withdrawal is stomach aches/diarrhea if no nicotine, can have stomach aches if too much nic as well. I don't find vaping making me hungry or wanting to eat more, except if already hungry some of the custard/dessert vapes will make you more hungry.

I have found that since i started vaping... 4 years ago... i am eating more, this is probably because of the flavors that i vape. I am not gaining weight because i exercise on a regular basis. I remember when i quit smoking and started vaping my stomach went through issues, I guess because my body was used to all the nasty that comes along with the real smokes. After a while i adjusted (about a week at 24mg) i was good to go, now i am comfortably at 3-6mg and haven't had any issues.

Only real issue I noticed when I started was I felt like I had to burp and couldn't is the best way to describe it. Went up on vg to 70/30 mixes and don't feel like that now. Guess my belly didn't care for the pg lol

When I first started vaping I didn't know what to expect from the VG/PG mixes, which was the first major issue I had. PG doesn't work for me - gave me stomach cramps, a little nausea, and generally left me tired and feeling a little wrung out. That combined with not knowing what nic strength to use gave me a really bad start. The people at the vape shop I went to were worse than unhelpful. (Happily though they are great these days!)

Even once I discovered that high VG was the way I needed to go, it still took several weeks to realize I needed to drop the nic level significantly. Once I got that straight, I just needed to learn about the gear - through lots of dry hits and cheap gear failures.

There are more preferences in vaping than you can shake a stick at. People are very different in what they like and what works for them. If I had it to do again, I would have bitten the bullet and started off with a $20-30 tank and $30-50 mod. Thinking the more expensive tanks and mods were just ridiculous toys, I stuck to the cheap stuff for way too long.

If you have a vape shop with a tasting area and helpful people nearby (or even an hour away), it'll be worth your time to talk with them and try a bunch of different flavors.

Good luck!

6 mg is the nicotine level of their e liquids.

I already have ibs and I go number 2 more than most anyway, so when it came to me vaping 98% of the time as i still on occasion bum a cigarette or a cigar, I didn't really notice anything with me. However that said certain juices I've found for me disagree with my stomach, mostly coffee, chocolates, and some tobacco flavors. The quality of the juice also makes a difference for me. Fast tech juice is cheap for a reason, learned my lessons on those, those gave me bad stomach cramps, not to mention most were just gross. It's normal for the body to adjust for a while, but in my experiences certain flavors can make u feel sick.
