Wouldn't it be nice to have the tracking number listed in this thread so that way if the package does arrive we could hold the buyer to his word to return the package?

Does everyone who reads this message agree this is a good idea?

To protect the Seller (and Buyer)?

Can the buyer or seller list the tracking number please?
Good and fair idea.

First off vapenw sucks. And you folks can stop bashing @wake and vape. Their deals are much better than vapenw. Vapenw customer service is the worst.

And a side note no one is going to take your advice when this is your first post on the forum in over a year....it's really pathetic that all you haters come out just for a post count lol.

So, I have aimed for transparency during this whole process. I sent copies of the e-mail communications with W&V along with the tracking information to both Zam & Smokie 2 days ago. I did this so that you wouldn't have to take my word as a "new member" on anything posted here and instead could rely on your trusted VU staff to provide an unbiased opinion. They have seen all the e-mails and read the thread, if there had been any sort of deception or fabrication on my part it would have been called out.

But this may not be enough for all of you so I'll be glad to share the tracking information and have you follow it with me:
Tracking Number: 9400110200793616258332.
What you won't be able to tell from the tracking is the numerous calls to USPS where they have more detailed information and have told me that the package has never "entered the mail stream". The discrepancy between "Accepted at USPS Facility" and the fact that USPS does not have it scanned in their system is what led me to believe the package was lost and initiate a request for replacement or refund with W&V.

I'm glad that W&V has finally offered a refund on this purchase but I'm sad to say that this has not actually happened. The "immediate" refund that was supposedly processed yesterday has yet to show up on either posted transactions or pending charges for my credit card.

Today is Sunday. You won't be seeing a refund today. It will probably be there tomorrow.

Credit card companies don't take Sundays off. Transactions are automated and show up with little to no processing lag. If the refund had indeed been processed "immediately" yesterday as claimed then it would have shown up by now.

And it all depends on your credit card bud.

Usually takes 5-7 business days for refunds to a card to show

sent from the back of Otto's bus

In my experience things usually show up on "pending charges" almost immediately to show that the refund was initiated but from there it does take time for it to get processed at which point it is moved to "posted transactions". None the less I'll hold off on any further assumptions and give it a few days. If anything changes I'll let y'all know.

They wouldn't jip you bud seriously. I have been doing business with them for several months now. It's just not their style honestly. I'm not trying to be biased. They do have really good customer relations and she is racking her brain over it. You will get your refund

All depends on the card carrier me personally I've never known anything to show for at least 3 business days and I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say thank you for holding assumptions there's nothing worse then trying to fix something and someone saying it's not being done and as a spectator I just want to see this fixed without any unneeded drama or reputation destruction

Just putting this out there - last I checked, the credit card companies (in their merchant agreements) said that vendors had 30 days from date of purchase to get mail order goods to you, which would coincide with the 30 day waiting period USPS has for first class mail. I don't remember if cc companies consider that 30-day limit to be for being delivered or being shipped, but regardless. . . Also the last I checked, CC companies give merchants up to 30 days to issue a refunds. You can return an item and the vendor can wait up to 30 days to refund you for it.

Edit to add - it's 30 days to get it to you unless stated otherwise in the agreement between merchant and customer.

Ashley my sweet. Don't let one customer give you an ulcer. Vaping is filled with drama.
Now about the above quote......
Care to elaborate? :D
Thats what I was thinking....expecting some type of protection from a forum because theyve "given you guys thousands of dollars" is a very ECF-ish way to think....many of us have seen criticism and negative reviews of certain vendors squashed on ECF due to the tribute paid to that forum by the vendors...

After reading this whole thing came to two conclusions.
Buyer is pissy and impatient. USPS is the issue not the seller.

@wake and vape is semi taking it in the shorts when they do not have to. But standing up. I commend that and will be making future purchases from them. End the bashing this gal has more than earned the respect and support of the customers.

This almost reminds of the whole thing last year when someone called out 101 and bashed the hell out of them. Only to get their 101 account shut down. 101 retained me as a customer since I had no dog in the fight and the only complaint I ever have had with 101 is not 101 but the USPS.

I'm with u on that everyone needs to unbunch their panties and let the vendor straighten it out like they are without all the slander being thrown at them truth be told 99% of the haters on this thread would do the same as w&v is

I'd like to address that in order to dispel any possible confusion. Wake and Vape is an advertiser on VU of their own volition and advertising has nothing to do with what goes on in the forums. There is no "tribute" or "under the table dealings" of any sort going on here, and I'm sure no such meaning was implied by @wake and vape .

Package label printed: June 29, 2015 , 1:46 pm Shipping Label Created TORRANCE, CA 90503

Package last seen: June 29, 2015 , 5:29 pm Accepted at USPS Facility HAWTHORNE, CA 90250

Today is July 19th 2015. I would consider 20 days with never one single movement of the package from the time it arrived at that hub a long enough wait.

The thing is, if a shady postal worker were to see "Wake and Vape" as a sender of a package it is very possible that he/she may be capable of stealing it.

It's not like that is unheard of in the world we live in.

Right?

Good point 5150 I have been a victim of a shady person stealing my packages. I used to live in a bad area a few years back. Some asshole was going around and stealing people's packages/mail. He was eventually caught when a neighbor set up cameras and caught the guy putting a white usps package in his trenchcoat. As far as I know he was sentenced to jail and paid over 3000 dollars in lost damages.

And yes I have also heard about usps workers stealing on the job as well. With lots of hubs or stations closing and the older workers retiring the new guys don't last long because of wages. So I guess some resort to theft...it's a damn shame. :(

So this could be the case...who's to really know honestly...

I can see that as being a damn good possibility. I ordered a cb antenna last year (104") and the package got hung up at a usps terminal. When it finally moved along to me all I got in the mail was an empty clear vinyl tube. The vendor was very nice and refunded my money. The next one I ordered from a different vendor was shipped in a pvc pipe. It arrived no problem. So is the usps capable of stealing packages? Damn skippy.

Actually, for the high value of what we offer our advertisers, our rates are some of the most competitive in the industry, and they are no secret:

All I will say is this: once a shipment has left the vendors hands and is in the mail system I will NEVER blame said vendor for our stupid mail system. Ive seen some packages go international to get from one state to another. Not the vendors fault our mailman doesn't own a damn map or something got stuck in a mail chute, or worse case scenario something was swiped by Mr postman. Sucks that vendors have to take the heat for the mailman. Even Amazon orders get lost folks, it aint just vape mail I assure u.

Well said Joshua. This is not Wake and Vapes problem. The buyer should have bought insurance for the item if they were that concerned about it. Leave the vendor alone.

I have a story to tell you.
It has NOTHING to do with wake and vape or the OP.

It's really crappy being a seller because when the package doesn't show up it's all on you.

It's like that on eBay and worse.

On eBay if I sell you electronics, even used stuff, you have 45 days (it is even going up to 90 days if hasn't already)
to break that item and I'd still have to give you a refund.

I don't have a choice PayPal TAKES the funds back from me.

So for instance,

I sell you a Playstation 3 for $200 and you receive the package.

You are happy and leave positive feedback.
I have "seller does not give refunds" on the listing when you buy it.

A month later your toddler sticks a fruit roll up in the disc drive.
If you wanted to, you could FORCE me to take the broken Playstation back and eBay/PayPal would TAKE that $200 out of my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

If I only have $30 in my paypal and $50 in my bank account because I'm living paycheck to paycheck and it's the end of the month?

You and your toddler just overdrafted me.

All I wanted to do was get rid of and old game system collecting dust in my closet and now my bank account is overdrafted, i'm getting back a BROKEN PS3 and you the buyer lose NOTHING.

You might lose $12.00 for return shipping.

Is this fair?
Fuck no!!!!

Does it happen?
This happened to ME with a $120 Xbox360!

I was very lucky to see the RED minus in my PayPal and was able to race to the bank where I was already in the RED and beg them to take my money and not hit me with the $35 overdraft charge

I find it odd that it takes 3 days for money i send to my bank account from PayPal to show up but an overdraft takes less than 2 hours!!!

I decided to NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER sell electronics to anyone again that day.

That is about as shitty and fucked up a policy as I have ever seen, ESP. with the shit bag scammers claiming they never got it. It is a lose lose for sellers and golden fuck ya winning ticket for thieves.

I decided to sell low value items in large quantities on eBay. That's how I make my extra spending money. Screw video games and that kind of stuff. I don't like dealing with that kind of customer. Not worth it in my opinion.

Well folks, Just wanted to let y'all know that I did get a refund from W&V via paypal today. I'll be glad to put this issue to rest and use the funds to make my purchase from a more ethical vendor. You have seen what it took me to get here so if you choose to take your chances with W&V I can only say good luck and may the vape gods bless you with a customer service-less transaction!
