I do, I had another single coil tank with NI on it and it was amazing so built the goblin and getting the LR message its kinda odd it works on my VS cause that thing would say ohms too low randomly for anything under .10 so kinda odd. I'm gonna pull the atty and maybe refresh the batts and see if that changes anything.

hmmmm, showing .048 and .06 on my vs so looks to be below the .05 for the mod weird its a bit different between the two...no big deal I might just plug the other side and run single coil on it.

Excellent, just threw a nickel dual build on it and it's odd says .06 on my dna40 but wont fire says low resistance on my LI...?? Am I missing something? Eh I will mess with it I have just fired it up haven't messed with it much yet. But I love the wicking channels on the goblin mini its a really neat little tank looks like it will work great.

Just double checking that you locked in the resistance by pressing the + and - button at the same time.

Cheers,
Steve

I believe the vs will fire down lower then .10 it just soft limits you in temp control you won't get the desired wattage's in soft limiting. in regular kanthal I think it will show ohms to low or something,
the ipv3 li will fire down to .065 ohm I believe or right around there dre would know more then me, I haven't built alot of dual tc coils.
add a few wraps to your build and see how that works out for ya, good luck.

The P4U mods are supposed to fire down to .05 but if you go below about .06 you're probably gonna get "short!" messages all day long.

Anybody else getting the "Too Hot!" Message? I've gotten it on every iPV I've had, but it's more frequent on the Li. Multiple attys, cleaned the connections, tightened them... Not sure what's up. I'm not pushing it hard, and it isn't getting hot, or warm, really. I'm starting to get annoyed. Like I said, I've gotten the message on every iPV, just this one more frequently. Any advice?

Nope. I got it once and my 510 connection on my orchid was a little loose. After that I never got it again.
I just cleaned all of my 510's and the device's 510 with 91% isopropyl. Doing some googling, there's not much info, but a bad connection somewhere seems to be the culprit. Mines intermittent. Very intermittent. I read someone who dropped their Mini, and it was alway doing it, and a bent 510 spring was the issue. I lightly pressed the pin down a couple times with a q tip, hoping to maybe straighten anything out. I just chain vaped multiple attys, one being a dual Clapton coil at .22, so hot, and it was fine. Hope it was a connection problem. Sounds like it. I've never even knocked it over, let alone drop it. The spring could've shifted, though, and my attys needed a scrub. Hope it stays good.

Ironically, this is my only iPV that actually has a flush 510. Lol.

have you noticed the positive pin on the 510 for the ipv sits a little offset?
It's actually completely flush when attys are mounted, I feel like it wasn't at first, though. I only finger tighten, I don't abuse my gear and crank it down tight as can be. The outer insulation is a bit offset, but so is my Mini, and my 4. Though, my Mini does it sometimes, the 4 has, and the 3 has. I didn't get it again last night. It's been intermittent since I got it, I thought nothing of it since it happens occasionally on all of mine. It seems it shouldn't. I'm gonna keep an eye on it, hopefully it is fixed. Again, I cleaned all of my attys, and the 510 on the device, and I lightly pushed the floating pin in a bit. Very carefully, not close to as far as an atty would. Just to make sure it isn't crunchy. I don't think I can return it at this point. I'm gonna hope it's a connection issue, and not an internal one, since I don't know how to solder.

I chain vaped the hell out of those dual claptons again after dinner. They're at .22, running 50-75 watts. They take a long time to ramp up, but then are chain vapeable. The device didn't get hot at all, they atty did. To be expected. No "Too Hot!" Message, and I went from 4.20-3.98 on my batteries in about a half an hour. I consider that pretty demanding use. It's not frequent enough to be unusable, but I'm hoping I fixed it.

You can use 20 gauge and 22-24g for dual coils

Not that I have found yet. I have notifications set from sweet vapes for when they have them in stock.
I do see that RHS is starting to make them also, besides Yeahsmo. RHS manufactures the swirled colored cases for the sxmini. So, might wait for those and get a red/black swirled case.

Those sleeves are nice, I'm gonna have to get one. My "Too Hot!" Issue disappeared almost completely for a week, then on Sunday night I couldn't vape an RDA dry without it. I threw it on my iPV4, and it did the same thing after a few pulls, then back to normal and vaping. Nothing aside from the RDA is getting remotely hot, batteries, casing, nothing. It has to be an error. I tightened my post screws, and vaped the rest of the night with it happening once if at all. Then, this morning, same thing, both devices. It's happened with multiple RDA's and on Smok TCT, so I don't know. I had contacted the vendor and he is gonna swap mine out, I'm putting it in the mail today. Already packaged and paid, I'm just second guessing sending it back if my 4 is doing the same, just not as frequently.

It's already packaged and paid, you all think I should exchange it, just to be sure? The touch sensor didn't work in TC mode until I updated the firmware, so it had something strange anyway. Also, on my 3 Li, and my 4, when I hold power to access the firmware edition, first I get a screen that looks like the broken DNA 40 boards. Anyways, I think I'm sending it back, if the 4 didn't do the same thing I definitely would. Opinions?

Personally, if it's not giving me the vaping experience that everyone else that has the device is getting due to an issue with it... I would return it for another one. If the next one does it, then I would look into what I might be doing wrong.

Done. Just got back from the P.O. The only pause I had was when the 4 did the same thing. It hasn't been notably problematic, though. If my builds were all I was basing this on, it would also be different, but it's doing it with stock Smok TCT coils on one tank. Also, google yields an ungodly lack of info on this, suggesting that it's not a common problem. I could barely find any info when troubleshooting.

Doesn't make sense that it went away for about a week, some hot in car usage, too, and now it's back. The vendor is being super nice to help me out. I ordered it 6/29, and have had it since 7/1, so for him to offer either an exchange, or 20% refund my choice, I'm shocked. I fully expected to have to go through warranty, and it would've been justified. Hope it gets to him fast, and or I can convince him to ship mine out prior to him getting mine. My fire button kinda double clicked, and the whole touch sensor not working in TC prior to the update makes me think there were just some issues from the start.

Is there a possibility that one of your atomizers is messing with your 510 connector on the mods? Seems to be the only variable for both ipv's.

That's my thought, maybe it's pin pushes too far. It hasn't always happened on these attys, and it's only happened on one of my 3 Smok TCT's. My RDA's are four authentic Mutation X V3, one is V2, and a Magma clone. Arctic Tank is fine, two of the Smok's are fine, and when it happens, it's about every 10 draws or so. Sometimes only once, sometimes constant.

I do feel like there was a crunch, or grind on the last turn when tightening attys on flush, but it's finger tight, if I back off, they would wobble. I don't know... It's on it's way back. The 510 seems the likely culprit, as you suggest, it's just odd that it's doing it erratically, and that not all of the Mutations or TCTs do it. Might be a loose connection that is manipulated by the spring sometimes, thus intermittently getting the error.

Again, when it arrived the touch sensor fired as if it were in power mode, while in TC mode, and just hold a voltage randomly and burn wick. The hard button was functional. If the firmware hadn't fixed that I'd have already sent it back. Nobody else is having any of these issues, so I'm thinking it was a dud. It's fire button double clicked when depressed, too. Also, the screen prior to the firmware version was all scrambled like a bad DNA40
