Welcome. I would say the best thing you may want to start with might be the eLeaf istick. Its a temperature controlled mod, which is very nice, but you will have to buy a tank to go with it. The mod can be found for as little as $24.99 on some sites, and you may be looking at an additional $15 -$30 for a tank, depending on what kind you get & the website. Another good option might be the Kangertech Subox kit, which includes everything but a battery. That kit is about $50+. That was my first major kit that I purchased and I love it. The best option would be to visit a reputable vape shop in your area if there are any. I first started on the pen vapes, and they weren't doing it for me until I bought my Kangertech kit. But good luck on your serach, theres plenty of great sections here with lots of useful info & friendly members.

Very good. You can kick smokings ass. I did. Anything you get will save your ass. If you have the funds, get a dual battery electronic Mod. I use Sigelei. Sub Ohm tank/ don't have to figure out how to build. It's a Corvette for your lungs.

Welcome Huuflungpoo ! Funny screen name lol. Plenty of good people here to guide you through the process. Don't be afraid to ask questions even if you think it's silly. The only silly question is the one not asked ! Have a great day !

Ok so I got that part done...anyone got any good ideas where to get a "sample" ejuice stuff so i can try stuff out...
You didn't mention if you have access to vape shops. That makes a difference. I don't have access to vape shops so had to make my choices without trying them out first. Not the frugal way to do it.
As for e juice, there is some affordable stuff out there to try while you're waiting to learn about DIY.
Shouldn't be too hard to find a decent deal on a sampler pack of e juice.
Try MadVapes or MyVaporStore or VaporIntelligent or even eBay.
Good luck!!

I just started vaping about a month ago I bought a itaste MVP 20w and I love it. And I haven't had a cigarette since. I recently bought a eleaf istick 30w and love it also.

A lot of people like mt. Baker vapor due to the amount of choices and lower pricing.
I prefer to make my own. But I'm sure you don't want to go that route yet.
Also, be aware on ebay that nothing you purchase there will have nicotine in it.
Be sure the seller has good feed back too. I have gotten some great deals on there before but had to add my own nic. Some of the big name juice companies Such as Five Pawns, offer sample kits with small 5 ml bottles.
If it's liquid you are looking for your choices are endless, but read or watch juice reviews because they are not cheap. You want to get a good idea of flavor profile, a good reviewer will rate a juice on quality rather than if A juice is something they particularly prefer. Sometimes juice just sucks and tastes bad and they shouldn't hesitate to tell you that either. Good luck

another place to get ejuice samplers is ecblend.com. can get several 5ml bottles of flavors cheap.

I started with a vv4 variable voltage/wattage the stock tank didnt really do me justice but at the time i didnt want to inhale anyways but then eventually i got the nautilus mini tank, it kind of forced me to inhale and thats when i started really really liking the vape life, now i have a freemax starre on a sigelei150. You can be the type to work your way up and decide whats best for you or just jump right into the big stuff. depends what kind of experience you are wanting while you vape.

I just picked up this setup to give to my Brother. Been trying to get him to quit smoking for a few years now.

Innokin Cool Fire IV 40watt (retail for about $35.00) picked this one up in VU classifieds $27.00
iSub tank (comes with (2) .5ohm coils MFS $12.45
Pack of (5) .5 replacement coils, MFS $10.00

So, for 50 bucks, picked up a pretty bad ass setup. Surprised how well the combo works.

Man, I really like how your white one has the red trim! Mine has the black and everyone says it looks like a stormtrooper haha. I've not seen that before.
