When a toaster oven gets all water spicket over the loss of a noodle spoon, bad things can expostulate with horrendous rubber peanuts falling south. I mean South and fervent with all silk strings catching butter rum......if you know what I mean....

Now 'Dominion' on the other hand... The ONLY shallow, one-dimensional character is, oddly enough, the Archangel Michael. They try for a back story and depth, but, to me, it falls kinda flat.
'Defiance' - good stuff.
'Falling Skies' - even better stuff
'The Last Ship' - who cares?

I like all of those shows, so far anyways. :) Enjoyed "The Assets" mini-series too.

In about the 3rd week of over-90F temps, getting tired of it.

I got this though....

Some real-sugar vanilla Pepsi and 8yo Black Velvet Reserve I got on sale for $13 a fifth. =)

It was worth walking the 6 blocks in 96F heat to Rite-Aid and back. Most of that distance is pure deserted blacktop.
One whole side of the former "mall" is empty. Nothing but a scorching hot parking lot about two blocks long. Frickin' HOT.

I have some JW Green that I'll clean up tonight.

As much as I like that, kinda makes me wanan cry that you just drank up Scotch that old....

Slainte M'Hath to the Scotch....

FWIW, I saw Nixon at our World's Fair here in 1974.
Living next to Fairchild AFB, I saw AF1 as it few over our house on approach... close enough to read the Seal, I think I was 8?

I agree, that should have been savored.

I remeber when an old bar of mine got in Chivas 25yo Special Reserve. One whole case of it.
The owner, He loved scotch. He knew I did and just gave me a glass of it, normally was like $15 a shot. That was back in the 90's.

Damn good. Though, I prefer the Islay's and old Glenfiddich...probably have some ancestors buried in that peat. ;)

If'n I had my druthers..I'd be shoved in a bog like them when I go.
Then, I'd either be in a museum in 900 yrs, or end up in a bottle of Scotch. Worst case, I'd be burned as so many of us were..but this time for fuel.

Not bad really...the Druids would approve of the reclamation of my energy for a purpose. I'm a Fire sign, after all. ;)

Don't overlook good Bourbon too, I like Scotch but I used to love a good Bourbon.

Grok this EQ I just did for a Queensrÿche song....that tells ya how insane their tonal range is.

Running 320kb/s MP3 on an hacked Audigy X-Fi in full 44.1 kHz mode with an old-skool 2.1 Altec Lansing ACS45 ....built with 200W innards, but run at half that. I can shake the Apt. ;)

"I don't believe in love" a great song of theirs. Sad part of the story though.

Big Queensyrche fan here!

Was listening to 'Jet City Woman' on the way home.
Terrible thing, Geoff Tate not with them anymore...

I read a while back that he was touring with his own band, also named Queensryche, and ownership of the name was tied up in court. Sounded like a ton of drama, very unfortunate.

Seen them a half dozen times through the years, the first when they opened for Ozzy back in the mid 80s. They had taken over the remainder of his Ultimate Sin tour in place of Metallica after this bus crash that killed Cliff Burton.

I know I've seen them play the entire Operation Mindcrime live at least three times, complete with the same woman that did vocals on that album. Great times!

Latest I heard was that Tate was allowed to use 'Geoff Tate of Queensryche' for two years and limited rights to the songs.

That may have been the final ruling. Tate's version of the band was doing a show around the first of the year in Florida I think it was, but we couldn't go.

That made me laugh. While at work, vaping, and reading a vaping forum. Oh damn.
Okay. I officially have a problem...
My wife says that I am too wrapped up in vaping but supports it cuz it keeps me from smoking.
Now, the postman just said that he is going to park his truck in front of my house so he doesn't have to carry my orders so far...

I'm just not seeing a 'down side' to this.....

Have you tried the Reese's peanut butter cup Oreos?
Heavenly, trust me on this.
Haven't seen them yet but will look for them!
Bought some birthday cake oreos a couple weeks ago. Good stuff...
Of course I only got two of them before my wife and grandson found 'em.

That's why you buy two packages, you hide the other one in the car.

And they found my stash hidden up in the attic under two layers of insulation.
And buried behind the neighbor's garage...
Bastards.

Sounds to me that you may have to take drastic measures.
Do you have anything you can lock them up in? If you do, hide the bolt cutters.
